Kyr almost fell over from a dizzy spell. Using a nearby tree to support himself as he hurled and hurled the contents inside his stomach.

He hasn't been eating much for the past few weeks, so there was barely anything to spill.

He wiped his mouth clean with the back of his hand. Grabbing a bottle of water inside of the space ring. He took a mouthful of water, swishing it inside his mouth to get rid of the foul taste.

He looked around and noticed large trees growing around the area.

'Holy hell!'

Kyr has never seen this type of trees before. A moment ago he was just in an empty office and after ripping the scroll he found himself here.

He grabbed his magic mobile device but it doesn't seem to turn on. He was hoping it would reveal his current location. But he was sure he would still be on Gaia.

He shook the device hoping for it to turn on. He shook it again harder this time and noticed that the device was emitting smoke. He opened the inside of it, the chip and the engraved magic spell was completely fried.

He checked each of his magic tools and every one of them broken except for the primitive tools that do not use the scientific chip or magic writing.

The gun that his father gave him when he was in the army is fine and wasn't in pieces like the rest of his equipment.

Kyr shrugged and he blamed this current situation because of the teleportation that he just went through.

'How come his space ring was still working. What made it so different from his other equipment.'

He thought long and hard while walking aimlessly hoping to run into other people.

"The only thing I can think of that made his ring so different was that he found this on ancient ruin guarded by magical constructs."

He took the ring off and studied the writing on the inside of it. He had this investigated before when he first got it but a historical researcher couldn't translate or even find a hint of what magic language is written on the ring.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

Kyr suddenly felt small tremors and the loud noise was getting closer and closer.

"Hurry!! It's going to catch up soon."

"Shit!! Why is there an ogre around these parts."

"Shut up!! And just run. We have to notify the guild."

Kyr could head multiple voices shouting to each other as if they were running from danger.

Two men and one woman appeared before Kyr. Most of them were covered in wounds and they were wearing armour and seem to have weapons in the likes of axe, bow and what seemed to be a staff.

One of the men with braided hair and rugged face around 7ft tall was wearing thick metal armour that covered his humongous stature. In his hand was a great battle-axe.

The other man is smaller about 5ft9 and wearing light leather armour and a bow on his back.

The woman is wearing a brown robe and bone necklace as well as a staff covered in strange writing.

All three of them were haggard and out of breath.

'The heck is this. Are they having a fantasy cosplay event'

Kyr asked in his mind, taking in the three stranger weird appearance one more time.

"Why you standing around for! Run there's an ogre!" The man wielding the battle axe growled.

"Ogre?" Kyr parroted back still confused about this whole thing.

'Are they high on shrooms or something.'

"RAAAAHHHH!!"

A big loud roar interrupted Kyr's thought as the ogre came to view.

10ft tall, big round belly and huge masculine arms. Skin yellow and greenish a weird combination. A horn in the middle of its forehead 0.5m in length. The ogre was holding a small tree in its gigantic hands, it seemed to have been uprooted.

The ogre eyes looked at the four of humans and roared in anger again.

'How dare the food run away from me !'

"What the hell is that ?"

Kyr shouted in surprise.

'Where the hell am I? I don't think I'm in Gaia anymore as that monster does not exist there.'

Kyr grabbed a handgun from his space ring. Magnum type R4 the latest model produce by a military weapon specialist who still likes creating weaponry from a bygone era.

It has a few modern twists that make it stronger and faster. He made it practical to fight against ability users as well as most of the bullets can pierce through the protection of the shield produce by a magic device.

Kyr followed the three strangers. He didn't know where the closest settlement was and he just hopes the weapon he has now is effective in killing it or at least slowing it down.

He loaded the bullets inside the bullet chamber click it back in place and unlock the safety trigger. He aimed it at the rampaging ogre that was slowly gaining on them. For such a giant creature you'd expect it to be slow but the speed it's showing is quite amazing.

Kyr pulled the trigger and bullet flew instantly towards the creature's body. The bullet hit its chest, the bullets tried to pierce through the skin but it just bounced off. The only evidence it was hit by the bullet was the blood trickling from the wound but Kyr noticed that it was healing rapidly.

'That's insane.'

He thought as he kept on running. Kyr knew that the magnum does hurt the monster because it howled in pain and stopped to clutch its chest.

"HUMAN!! DIE!!"

It roared angrily as it resumed its pursuit.

'Tsk'

Kyr clicked his tongue. He aimed for the knees of the ogre and unloaded all the bullets left in the chamber.

The ogre howled in pain and toppled over as its knees gave way from the pain.

"How?" The woman exclaimed out loud. The two men with her also stared at Kyr with wide eyes.

"That's an amazing artefact. Never seen anything like it. Your a lucky guy to have one of those. They're very expensive."

"We should keep running it's not dead yet."

Kyr advice as he loaded more bullets into the magnum.

"We can try can't we!" Laughed the humongous man. He stares at the ogre with vicious eyes.

"I've never taken down a tier 3 monster before but I think today is the day! My blood is boiling !" Laughed the axe-wielding maniac loudly.

His two companions just smiled and nodded as they also got ready for battle.

Kyr looked at them speechlessly.

'They're insane.'

He shook his head but he smiled anyway. Adrenaline pumping in his veins. The thought of taking on such a scary monster got him excited as well. This somehow reminded him of his old friends and he clenched his fist trying to shake off the memory.

"You up for it? Man wearing strange clothes" asked the woman holding the staff with a wink.

The ogre was getting back up and the wound he inflicted was now slowly healing.

"When it goes down again. Aim for its head !" Kyr said.

As the ogre charge towards them, the group ran back keeping distance just in case things go horribly wrong and then they'll just escape again.

The ogre raised the tree up high ready to swing at them when it's close enough.

Kyr pulled the trigger six times aiming at its knees again. The ogre was like the one from fantasy stories that he had read before, they were stupid and only know one thing and that was to charge at its enemies.

The ogre fell over again and as it began to fall the man with the bow shot two arrows in quick succession and hit both of its eyes.

The woman raised her staff, the runes in the staff glowed as she uttered out words in a strange language and a rope made of fire wrapped around the ogre's humongous body. The axe wielded sounded out a battle cry as he charged with his axe and aimed his weapon straight on the neck of the ogre.

The axe barely got through halfway it's neck when the ogre roared in pain and flailed its arm in anger and sent the axe wielder flying.

The axe-wielding man crashed in the tree with a grunt. He was injured and could hardly move from the impact.

"Olaf!!" Shouted both his companions. They started to move towards him.

The ogre broke free of the mage's spell, pried the two arrows embedded in its eye socket out. He was healing at an incredible rate. You could hardly see any more wounds in the ogre's body and even its eyes were restored.

"What a monster!" Kyr exclaimed

"If you want to save him, we have to kill that ogre. Let's do what we did last time, I have something planned for that monster."

The man and the woman hesitated but nodded gripping their respective weapons tightly showing their grim conviction. Kyr looked inside his ring and saw that there were only two bullets left. He grabbed one of them and activated his ability; 'duplication'.

The one bullet became as many as he wanted it to be, he popped the bullets in the gun's chamber filling up all the slots. Kyr did not forget to grab a grenade out of his space ring, apart from the gun that he had this was the only other weapon that he has that wasn't destroyed from transferring over to this place.

Kyr unloaded six bullets straight to the monsters knee caps, the ogre hasn't learned its lesson as if it has absolute trust in its robust body as he continued to charge while roaring in anger. The bow user accurately hit its eyes again and the mage unleashed its fire rope spell.

Wasting no time Kyr dashed forward as the ogre fell, taking out the pin of the grenade he shoved it on the ogre's mouth.

"RUN!!" he shouted in a hurry trying to get away from where the ogre fell. Olaf who had recovered enough to stand up thanks to his robust body followed Kyrs advice and ran like the devil is after him.

BOOM!!

A big massive explosion engulfed the ogre as the grenade detonated. Kyr and the three people got away from the range of the explosion. The three people look towards the explosion and exclaimed in excitement.

"There is no way that ogre is alive. Man, I didn't know you have an explosive type of artefact. You must be a high ranking adventurer if you can get stuff like that from a dungeon." commented the mage woman.

'So I assume they have a similar type of explosive device and you can get this type of items from a dungeon.'

"Have you guys seen anything like this?" asked Kyr pointing at his gun.

The three people shook their heads. "No, I even doubted it's an artefact as most of them are disposable items after using it once. So I'm guessing you must have defeated a dungeon boss and it dropped a 'dungeon armament'.

'Ah, so that's how they interpreted the current weapons that I have on me right now. The gun is a dungeon equip drop from a boss monster while the grenade is just a disposable artefact and all this can be found in the dungeon.'
