Erowin had found civilization!
She had woken up some months ago in this strange land.
There was blue boxes, and magic! But there was also danger.
Strange howls and growling filled the air. A young lady in shredded clothing huddles under a fallen tree.
She paws at the air in front of her.
A moment later, and she fades from sight.

She had formed a habit of not spending her skill points in case something came up and she needed a skill for it.
In front of her lay a small village. She could see some farmers tending to fields in the distance.
Activating [Stealth], she strode into the city.
She had used [Hide] so much in the last few months that it had ranked up into straight invisibility.
Walking through the town, she noticed that the buildings were not in good shape. The people were downtrodden, and the general atmosphere was morose.
"Open Up!" A shout rang through the air.
Erowin watched as two men in armor kicked down a door and strode inside.
The building looked like a small bakery.
She followed in behind them.
A small girl hid behind a cowering man.
"Why you hiding fella?" One of the armored men jeered.
"Dont have enough for the tax today?" The other laughed.
"What say we take the girl for a couple hours, call it even!"
Erowin had seen enough.
She placed her hands on the napes of the mens necks, and activated [Needle Shot]
They crumpled to the floor.
The man looked around wildly, grabbed a knife from a nearby tabletop, and approached the fallen men.
They were still alive, their eyes rolling in panic as their bodies no longer listened to them and their lungs refused to breathe.
"Lucy, come here, now" The baker whispered.
"I dont know who you are, but thank you" He said to the empty air.
"Hold this with me, we will do it together"
Erowin left the shop.

It didn't take long to find where the head honcho was.
In the center of the village, what could only be described as a lavish mansion sat.
With [Stealth] active, it was easy to wander past the guards and up to the house.

Her first problem presented itself.
A locked door stood in her way.
She placed her hand on the lock, and imagined the inner workings turning.
Funneling a skill point into the thought, a prompt showed up.
Erowin accepted. She focused, and the door clicked open.
She quickly looked around, and slid her way inside.
The insides were filled with decadence. Paintings, upholstery, the works.
She stood still for a moment and activated [Keen Senses].
There were a few people in a large room upstairs, and one person in a room nearby.
She spotted a basement entrance, and after a few seconds to unlock the door, she slipped downstairs.
A few minutes later she came back upstairs.
She took [Memory Modification] and blurred her own memories.
She strode to the room with a single person.
After unlocking the door, she strode inside, not caring about subtlety anymore.

A girl who looked to be approaching adulthood sat at a desk reading. She looked up to see who was coming in and looked confusedly at the empty room.
The door slammed shut, and suddenly the girl found herself on the ground with a weight on her neck.
"Do you know whats in the basement" A voice rippled out.
"What?! Whats going on! Let me go! I don't know anything!"
A moment passed.
[Detect Falsehood]
"Say that again"
"I don't know anything about the basement! Dad says I cant go in there!"
Another moment passed, the weight on the girls neck changed, and she slipped into unconsciousness.
***
The girl woke confused. She had no memory of falling asleep on the floor.
She decided to find her father.
A scene of carnage greeted her. Her father and most of the house guard lay sprawled.
Blood coated every surface.
A few remaining guards sat ashen faced on the ground.
"What happened, who did this" The girl cried.
One of the guards looked up. "A [Vigilante]. We haven't had one of them in decades, your father... he was not a good man"
"We need to purge the town guard and get this town and make sure the populace is looked after"
"They might come back"
Some of the remaining guards started to smile.
"My lady, we have a lot of work to do"
The guard looked at the man on the ground and spat on his corpse.
"I for one, am looking forward to it"
