Chapter 6
…………
After looking over his system interface, Truck-kun noticed that he had a lot of these ‘BP’ points, which were apparently some form of way to make him stronger. A look of pondering appeared on his face as he wondered how he should go about allocating the points. Considering that everything either had a 500% or 1000% boost, any improvement made to the stat would send him straight to the moon.
“Well, from what I understand, the Strength stat directly improves my attack power,” he explained. “Then there is the Agility stat, which improves my speed. On the other hand, Defense increases my ability to resist attacks, and Intelligence does…” confusion overwhelmed his expression. “I don't really know what Intelligence does just yet, but I assume I’ll figure it out at some point.”
After reviewing the various attributes, Truck-kun automatically marked off the Intelligence stat because not enough was known about it. Then, the options boiled down to three, and with 20 BP to spend, he had a few different ways he could go about allocating them. Ultimately, he decided to put 7 in Strength and 7 in Agility, leaving the last 4 in Defense. He did it this way because his Defense had a 1000% boost, whereas the other three stats only had a 500% boost. Even though his mind might as well have been a blank slate, Truck-kun at least knew that bigger, more often than not, meant better.
Following the proper stat allocation, he felt a sudden surge of power well up within him. As this power distributed its essence across various aspects of his existence, he pulled up his system interface and viewed the changes.

Suddenly, Truck-kun felt stupid. “I carelessly spent all of my BP,” he sighed, figuring that the wisest course of action would’ve been to save some of it for emergencies. Clenching his fists, he said, “From now on, I will make sure to save a fourth of the BP that I acquire.”

Unknowingly, Truck-kun already had plans in mind for what he would be doing from now on. Essentially, it boiled down to finding out where he was and then killing anything that threatened his survival, which would also give him more power and more BP.
Looking around himself, he saw a long, hanging gray fog. It covered this medieval town in its misty glow and flowed in the same direction. That direction being to the north. To go that way, Truck-kun would need to venture deeper into the fog, where each step would take him into a thicker morass. Vision would likely be obscured, and the shadows cast from the spooky abandoned town buildings would reveal within them creatures of the unknown. Creatures that lurk and stalk in the dead of night. Which, unfortunately for our intrepid protagonist, was right now.
As Truck-kun peered his gaze into the ominous cobblestone streets and passed by multiple lines of light poles, he saw something. This something also saw him, and for but a moment, silence was all that remained. Yet, before this silence could act as the prelude to a vicious attack, whatever was looking at him vanished into the fog, fading into the willowy waves. Tightly clenching his crowbar, Truck-kun broke the silence and took his first step into the thick fog, sauntering by all the shattered monster corpses. Whatever may come from this decision of his, he was prepared for it.
This new life of his, in a land far far away, would not be the same as before. He vowed to himself that he would never allow himself to be shackled down again, even if that meant he had to kill more living beings. Even if that meant he had to kill… humans…
Truck-kun’s leather boots lightly tapped against the damp cobblestone roads, his devilish reflection gleaming through the small, vibrating puddles. He advanced through the fog and disappeared from view, leaving behind him dozens of Night Howler corpses.

Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Valerian, sitting directly above the Ghost Town. A few ostentatiously dressed people were walking through a corridor, with two lines of marble pillars connecting the ground to the medieval-style roof. Behind this group of people were nearly twenty-five others, all of whom wore clothing that a Japanese student would wear.
They had on dress shoes, light blue uniforms with the same ties, and almost identical pairs of black cacky pants. Or, in the case of the girls, medium-length skirts of the same color. Their appearances varied, but the most common similarity was the color of their hair, which was black.
Fear was present on all of their faces as they trudged along behind the ‘Three Holy Priests’ of the Valerian Kingdom, even though one was most obviously a woman — her ample chest providing all the evidence needed.
Their clothing, however, was what one would imagine when they think of a priest or priestess. Long baggy white robes with golden lining, unobservable shoes, and either a large hat or hoody above their heads. Moreover, for the woman, her robe was a little tighter in a few scandalous areas. Even so, for the trembling group behind them, not many of them felt like they had the luxury to be gawking at the gorgeous blonde-haired priestess.
After all, they had just been… transported to another world!
On top of that, as soon as they got here, one of their classmates, Toriyama, the quiet average one in class who kept to himself, was deemed ‘unworthy’ by the ‘Holy Goddess Valeria,’ who summoned them into this world. Without hesitation, the Holy Goddess and the Three Holy Priests decided to essentially kill off Toriyama as they threw him off a high-hanging cliff in a trashcan, straight into a misty, abandoned town filled to the brim with terrifying monsters!
All while the Holy Goddess made them watch! She had a wide, sadistic smile plastered across her beautiful face as she sent Toriyama straight into a den of monsters! And all because he had low starting stats and no Unique starting skill! It was absurd!
