Isn't It Enough That I Don't Have A Cheat?!?!

Growwwwwlllllllllllllllllllll~ My stomach sang unrestrainedly after hours of aimless walking. I glared at it helplessly and started looking around for any edible looking fruits or small animals I could kill. Not like I can poison myself to death right?

So I went around looking up at the weird trees to see if there were any fruits or birds I could eat, staring at the pee, I mean- yellow water to find fish or some kind of seafood. But instead, I found this strange looking fist-sized lumpy rock with engravings covering it. What good luck I have...... People can't eat rocks right?... Nevermind that, but this rock's carvings doesn't look like it was organically not man-made.

"What a curious thing," I said aloud.

Ever since I've been re"born" in the middle of nowhere in this forest, I've been seeing nothing but strange things that completely twisted my worldviews. Hmpf! I'm not gonna be surprised at anything this stupid new world throws at me anymore!

After pondering for a period of time, I decided to take this lumpy rock with me and grabbed it from where a few boulders lay, carrying it by hand since I literally have nothing on me. Not that it matters though, I mean, as a dog I'm always naked, aren't I? So it's not really a big issue.

RRRRUUMMBBBLEEE~ My disobedient stomach decided to choose this moment to yowl its heart out, demanding to be fed.

I sighed pitifully and groaned "Alright, alright, I'm gonna find some food for you so please be quiet okay? Or for better lack of words, please shut up!"

And suddenly, everything was quiet.

I felt that something was wrong. No no, not that the fact that my stomach is actually obeying me for once, but something else.

There wasn't any sound of the creatures hiding out there that I never managed to see nor catch.

My skin tingled, and my instincts told me that something dangerous was coming.

And it was definitely right. A few seconds later, I could hear some thundering sounds coming closer and closer to where I was.

I could see two gigantic snakes a few hundred meters away speeding here with big puffs of dirt-clouds trailing behind them. They were both a dark olive green, covered in shimmering large scales that look like they could belong on a dragon. Their narrowed golden slit pupils glared at me, practically screaming bloodlust even from so far away.

I gulped. I've never really fought anything before and I also knew that there was NO way in hell I could ever fight those two monsters, so I turned tail and ran.

I sprinted away as fast as I could away from them, not even caring about the countless sharp branches that scratched all over my body. After all, being cut a bit is still better than being eaten.

Suddenly, two voices in unison rang sharply in my head, making my whole brain feeling it was ripped into shreds.

"YOU LOWLY CREATURE!!! HOW DARE YOU TAKE FROM THE TWO GUARDIANS OF THE SACRED IJRIVIL FOREST!!??! The pain had me writhing on the dirt instantly. I had never felt pain so intense before in my whole life when I was with Eva or here.

PAIN PAIN PAIN PAIN IT HURTS HURTS HURTS IT HURTSSSSS!!! IT'S SO PAINFUL WHAT IS THISSS HURTS HURTS IT HURTS THE PAIN!!! I screamed inside, unable to muster up the strength to open my mouth to scream out loud.

Something liquidy dripped onto my body, I took no notice of it as I was still thrashing around on the ground trying to escape from the pain.

Big mistake. Everywhere the liquid touched just made the pain ten times worse. It burned like having acid poured on you.

"A-h-AHhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, it HURTS HURTS HURTS HURTS ITHURTSITHURTSITHURTS!!!!!!!!!!" Miraculously, I found my voice and began screaming extremely loudly. I didn't know I could scream that loudly, but I didn't care, there was only pain. I could feel the PAIN everywhere and anywhere, I couldn't think or move.
