I burrowed my head into my owner, Eva's arms as I was feeling a tad light-headed, and snuggled in her embrace, tail wrapping around her forearm.
"What is it, Eden?" She asked, with an indulging smile on her wrinkly face.
I whimpered slightly, trying to express my discomfort. I had learned long ago that Eva doesn't understand what I'm saying, though she seems to pretend that she does, so I resort to making sounds.
My chest tightened, and I started to pant labouriously, still whimpering.
Eva caught on that something was wrong, and started to worry, asking "What's wrong Eden? Does it hurt? Do we need to get you to the Children's Hospital"?
Not wanting her to burden herself with me, I shook my head, fluffy milky white ears brushing against her nightgown. I knew I was getting old, and all living things must die. Trying to reassure her, I licked her face gently, panting a bit harder.

"Are you sure you're alright dear?" I nodded again. She chuckled and pat my furry head, "That's good then."
I let out a relieved sigh, and my heart began to clench painfully, then my eyes were overtaken by darkness. I apologized for leaving my precious owner behind alone, the thought of her silent figure sitting sadly on her rocking chair brought tears to my blue eyes before my soul left my tired, old body.
Feeling something strange caressing my cheek, my eyes fluttered. Glimpsing something creamy white, I forced my eyelids open. And right in front of my face was a gigantic....egg... shell?
I stared at it, dumbfounded. Wasn't I supposed to be dead?
Snapping out of my stupor, I lifted my head up to look at my surroundings. Trees, trees, trees, more trees, a huuuuge rock, ooooh a rabbit!! I wanna chase it! Wait. No! Focus Eden.
There were indeed tall trees surrounding me, but WHAT WAS WITH THE SWIRLS ON IT!??!!?! I mean....trees on Earth don't have exotic blue swirly swirls on it right?!?! And that rabbit....it had another eye on the middle of its forehead..... I'm pretty sure Eva educated me to be smart enough to realize what these things I'm seeing are supposed to be.......
Good Woof what is happening......... It can't be that I hit my head right? Haha, that must be it.....
