Ares Interlude 2
Erik wasn't the only one paying attention to the battle. There were also the gods. They were furiously furrowing their brows while alternating between astonishment and confusion.
„Individually he is useless but when there are many of them their magic becomes fearsome. “(Random god #5)
“Yes, indeed it seems so. Their magic is quite formidable for humans.” (Random god #6)
“LEGENDARY!!!”
While they were whispering among themselves Ares had a smug expression on his face while shouting.
“Hahaha, isn’t he interesting? This is a first for me to witness such a weakling survive the demon wolves.”
“Many of my valiant and strong potential champions were eaten alive while he survived the onslaught.”
“Doesn’t that make you interested in what he will accomplish in the future.”
“I’m expecting some good wars in the future.”

“Hey, Ares don’t get cocky now, isn’t still there the final test? How come you are so sure he will survive.” (Random god #7)
“Hahaha, what you don’t trust my judgment? You may be the strongest among your peers but even amongst gods I can say that my champion is unrivaled. There are no better generals than him. He even defeated me at war. And I’m the god of war!”
“What, is that true?” (Random god #8)
“Oh, my it seems that that unremarkable human possesses the talent for war.” (Random god #9)
“How many will he kill?” (Random god #10)
“Well, just watch and see. He has plenty of points and options now. From here on out he will go on the offensive.”
Erik was fast asleep but from time to time he shivered as if he was a rat in a cage and he couldn’t escape.
