Her life in shambles after bending the rules in order to do her job, Marys takes up as a private eye on the station. This is merely a front for her real purpose: she is on the hunt for Lisia Helianthe, the woman who wreaked destruction on her planet with a brutal civil war, taking everything she wanted before vanishing. In her search for retribution, Marys becomes entangled with a synthetic being called Xen who needs her help. But no matter how far she may be from home, Marys's past will not go ignored.
