"Tier-2 you say..."

"I'm someone who holds a grudge against your damned family. I fucking warned you guys. I told your child that the consequence of messing with me is the extinction of the Borlan family. But no, you idiots just couldn't listen," Zed said. After finishing his words, he kicked the table, causing it to explode into pieces.

"You killed Chen, what did you expect, huh?" George replied while standing behind his master.

"I'm talking to your master, no need for your barking, nameless dog," Zed said, pointing his dagger at him, which caused the armed guards to raise their weapons. "You've got to be fucking kidding me. A Tier-1 mana wielder and a Tier-2 mana wielder, with these shitty powers, dared to think you could do anything you want in this world?" Zed asked, laughing out loud.

"Shitty powers? Because of the scarce mana, there is no way for someone to rise above Tier-2. And from what I remember, there are only ten people who are Tier-2 and live in the U.S.A.," the Master of the Borlan family spoke, his confidence rising as he heard Zed's ignorance about this world.

"That's quite shocking. Basically, what you're saying is that I can run rampant in this world and no one would be able to do anything," Zed said while looking at his status screen.

"You are dreaming, boy. Even a Tier-2 wielder like me can't run rampant in this world, let alone a beginner like you. Tier is only to note your achievements in exercising mana. The real power is in how you use that mana. The more quality veins and heart you have, the more powerful you'll become. For example, my Borlan family has always had the Diamond Heart. Even though our veins were normal, the Diamond Heart was enough for us to quickly rise our tier. After reaching Tier-2, we just practiced our martial arts, mastering it perfectly. That being said, you don't stand a chance in front of me," the old man finished talking and rushed towards Zed. He was quite fast as he disappeared from his location and appeared right in front of Zed.

Zed, on the other hand, was still digesting the information he had gained today. Then he saw the old man rushing towards him at a snail's pace. Smiling, Zed grabbed one of the women who was close to him and raised her up, making her receive the punch meant for him. On impact, the woman's head burst open like a watermelon. Her blood splattered around, causing the other women and children to panic.

"What are you doing, man? That was ruthless," Zed said while wiping the blood off his face.

"You son of a bitch!" the old man roared and tried punching him again. This time, Zed changed the trajectory of his punch and directed it towards the old man. Taking the blow, the old man was sent flying towards his men. No one was able to move out of the way, thus resulting in them getting split from the lower part of their bodies.

The number of 19 guards was reduced to 10 after their master passed through them. "Oh god, that's disgusting," Zed said, watching the scene.

"Master! Are you okay?" George rushed to his master and tried to get him up. His face was covered in blood, and it was impossible to tell whose blood it was.

"Get off of me!" the old man said, getting up. Once he was on his feet, he rushed toward Zed once again. This time Zed wanted to wrap things up and end this. Gripping his dagger, he decapitated the old man on the spot. The old man's body fell to one side as his head fell to the other. Witnessing such a scene, the children and women continued screaming.

"For fuck's sake, shut up!" Zed yelled out in frustration. The screaming was driving him insane. For a second, they stopped screaming, then the children started again while their mothers tried to hush them.

"Ah, I can't take this anymore," Zed said and summoned ten shadow soldiers using his Shadow Manipulation skill. Then he strolled out, deciding to go home.

After forty-five minutes of riding, Zed finally arrived at his house and walked inside. He was greeted by the sight he loves the most: his father and mother sitting next to his sister, Luna. Next to them was Zed's new friend whom he had summoned using the system.

Seeing Zed, she bowed her head, which Zed completely opposed.

"Zed? I thought you forgot the way to your house," Zed's mother, Bella, said, crossing her arms.

"Ah," Zed reacted, scratching his head. "I had something to take care of, and mom, I'm not twelve," he replied, trying to get support from his father. His father, Michael, was avoiding eye contact, fearing that his wife would get angry.

After hearing his answer, Zed's mother couldn't find anything to say. Zed enjoyed the victory internally until he noticed Luna lying on the couch.

"Why is she still sleeping?" Zed asked, turning towards Elara.

"I don't know, master. I've tried healing her dozens of times, but nothing changes. I think she needs spiritual healing rather than physical," Elara replied, lowering her head. Elara was always proud of her healing, but not being able to accomplish the simple job given by her master completely destroyed her confidence.

"Spiritual healing?" Zed asked, waiting for an answer.

Not hearing her master speaking, Elara raised her head and saw that everyone was looking at her. Panicking, she quickly explained.

"Spiritual healing is used when one's spiritual body is injured or invaded. Like our body that protects our mind and internal organs, the spiritual body protects our spiritual core. Unlike our real bodies, the spiritual body needs much more time and training to strengthen. Back to the topic, spiritual healing is mostly done by Sages in my world. Every patient receives different healing, such as slightly injured persons getting treated by using meditation methods, while fatally injured persons get treated by runes, chants, and channeling spiritual energy through the Sage's body. To get the right treatment, we first need to know her situation. From what I could sense, I can say that the cause of this spiritual damage is that Luna's body is trying to accommodate two spiritual bodies and cores. This is something really dangerous, as our bodies are designed to carry one spiritual body, protecting one core. If not treated carefully, Luna might not be able to wake up again," Elara finished her words and lowered her head again, her face red.

"There should be a healer in this world, right?" Zed asked Elara.

"I doubt it, master. This world's spiritual energy is so scarce that there are no ghosts here. To be able to heal someone's spiritual energy and body, we need more spiritual energy."

"Is there any way to increase spiritual energy in this world? Or do I need to take her to another world, which has an abundant amount of spiritual energy?" Zed inquired.

"There are only two ways I know of," Elara replied. "First is to plant spiritual plants and trees. The second one is a bit more problematic and ruthless."

"Tell me," Zed said, looking at her intently.

"The second way is to siphon spiritual energy from other worlds or universes. Siphoning is more effective and quicker, but the consequences are severe. At first, there won't be any problems, but as the spiritual energy decreases in the siphoned world, it will cause the death of living beings in that world. Every being needs spiritual energy, but the amount required is different in every universe and world. After thousands of years, living beings adapt to their world's current amount of spiritual energy to stay alive," Elara finished with a heavy expression. The situation wasn't looking good, and she knew her master was strong, but obtaining spiritual plants wasn't an easy job as he would have to contend with thousands of deities. As for the siphoning method, she didn't even want to think about her master doing something so ruthless.

"Alright, thank you for the information," Zed said and walked upstairs to his room. There, he opened the system and searched for Spiritual Plants.
