Task Force 141

Luna was looking at the man in front of her who had killed her parents. After they left the house, the man brought her here, which seemed like an abandoned warehouse.

"What do you want from us? You killed my parents!" She screamed as she tried to free herself from the chains holding her. The man didn't pay her any attention but was talking on the phone.

"I killed his parents, and now I have his sister here. We can kill him, boss, I just need a little helping hand." the man said over the phone.

"If he's more powerful than we think, then you're done." the voice on the other end of the call said before hanging up.

The man then put his phone down into his pocket, turned towards Luna, and laughed maniacally.

"You'll not only lose your parents today, but you'll also lose your brother, hahaha!" he said while laughing out loud.

Luna, seeing him like this, was terrified at that moment and was shaking. The idea of losing her brother after her parents was something terrifying to think about.

"Now you sleep a little bit more. I'll wake you up when your brother arrives here." the man said as he moved closer to her and injected the liquid inside the syringe he was holding.

Like before, she blacked out again with tears in her eyes.

After getting out of the police station, Zed went directly to the airport and tried to find the earliest flight possible, but it was ten hours later. He couldn't wait for ten hours; he needed to find his sister.

Then he started asking around if he could rent a private jet that would take off immediately. Agencies at first said no as their pilots were resting and it was unreasonable to ask them to get here quickly. But after Zed offered them ten times the price required to rent, they accepted the deal. Sending cars to quickly pick up the flight crew, Zed was in the air half an hour later. At that moment, Zed noted that having a flight crew for a day and night would be much better for him.One and a half hours later, they arrived at the airport. Zed quickly went to the parking lot, hopped on his bike, and rode off toward the hospital.

A few blocks away from the hospital, inside an alleyway, Zed parked his bike and opened the system shop. As Zed was able to buy skills, he could also buy anything that came to mind. In the shop, Zed wrote a few words into the search bar of the shop: Task Force 141.

After buying Task Force 141, he pressed the button that had the word 'Summon' on it. The next moment, his phone rang and he answered.

"What does the watch read?" the voice on the other end asked.

Zed was at first taken aback by the question, then a memory popped up in his head.

"The watch reads Bravo Six, beside the green oasis." Zed replied, following the new memories placed in his brain.

"Acknowledged. Where do we meet this morning?" the voice asked.

"Meet behind the water's dance, where shadows play, at midday." Zed replied before hanging up the call. He simply called for a meeting at the park, right next to the alleyway. Walking towards the park, Zed sat down on the bench right behind the fountain.

Twenty minutes later, a man walked towards him and sat beside him. "How are you, Lieutenant General Shepherd?" Zed asked without turning his head.

"I'm good, sir. I wonder what happened for us to be called." Shepherd replied while playing with his phone.

"Someone murdered my parents and kidnapped my sister." Zed replied.

Hearing what he said, Shepherd's hand, which was scrolling, stopped for a second. Then he continued scrolling while saying, "I'm sorry for your loss, sir. Tell us who did it, and we'll retaliate."

"I don't need you guys for the retaliation, but I want you guys to take my parents' bodies from the Central Hospital's morgue. It should be an easy job for Task Force 141." Zed said.

"Of course. Where should we meet after the operation?" Shepherd asked.

"Your rendezvous code is 'Echo Romeo 0921'." Zed said this while getting up and leaving the area. After a few minutes of waiting, Shepherd also left the area to meet up with his team to brief them.

While Zed was walking, his phone rang, and he answered.

"Hey sister, what's up?" Zed asked.

"Can you please take the phone out of your ear so I won't see the dirt inside?" the voice on the other end said.

Confused by an unknown voice coming from his sister's phone, Zed looked at the screen and saw a man who was around the age of 30.

"That's much better now that I can see your face; now you should see what I got as a birthday gift." The man said this and turned the camera to Zed's sister.

The moment Zed saw his sister, tattered in blood and chained to the wall, he lost it. "You! You killed my family!" Zed said while texting Shepherd to get the caller's location. Complying with his order, Shepherd ordered his men to track the caller.

"Ah, that old couple? It was really hard to do, but what can I say?" the man replied, turning the camera to himself while smirking.

"Why? It's the first time I'm seeing you." Zed said, clenching his teeth.

"That is totally correct, but you saw my brother; even better, you killed him, remember now?" the man said, as Zed understood who was responsible for his family's suffering.

"Fucking Borlan family, I warned you guys, but you still tried messing with me? You are all going to regret this choice!" Zed said it with frustration in his voice. Then he got a message from Shepherd, saying they successfully tracked the location and sent him the location, before asking if he should rally the task force to help him, which Zed rejected.

"Give me the address, and I'll send you to hell with my own hands!" Zed yelled out in the middle of a street.

"Well, I'll just give you a riddle, and if you solve it, you'll find the location." The man clearly wants to mess with Zed.

"In a city of brotherly love, under skies above, a parkway named for a wise and keen man holds treasures of art, both modern and seen. Look for the steps where fictional champs have strode, and find the door, where many treasures are stowed. What is the address where these artful treasures play?" the man said this before hanging up the call.

Zed, looking at the address Shepherd sent him, got on his bike before riding towards the address where his sister was.
