0800 Hours
The SF-35 disabled their VTOL mode and flew deep further into the base. A group of marines, led by Sergeant Nick Mager, made it through the gate. The 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Regiment pushed further into the base. Hours passed and the United Earth Federation slowly captured some vital parts of the base, especially the huge storage facility that was believed to be holding some key technologies of the Oriented Republic.
Sergeant Mager and his team manoeuvred through the highly guarded base. As they were paving his way through the dense battlefield, a Republic's H-102 Helicopter suddenly flew over him and turned back to fire missiles at him.
“Get to Cover!” shouted Sergeant Mager after the Helicopter fired the missiles. His team ran inside a building near the impact zone and there were some casualties. The Helicopter was about to head to another location when an air-to-air was heading toward it from the back. The Helicopter suddenly fired flares and was able to disrupt the kill but before it could fly further, a SF-35 fired another AA missile. Before the helicopter could manoeuvre to deploy flares, the AA missiles struck the helicopter, destroying it mid-air.
Sergeant Mager saw there were some injured soldiers lying on the ground, not being able to move despite wearing the exo-skeleton suits. He looked outside to see a group of Republic’s soldiers running from the distance.
“This is Striker two-one, request support on the target location.” said Sergeant Mager to his radio after he pulled out a small camera and marked the location of the Republic’s Soldiers.
After that, a squadron of Federation’s SF-35 Lighting IV flew over and activated their VTOL mode before starting emptying internal bays, firing missiles non-stop at the Republic soldiers. But, before they could switch to normal mode, two air-to-air missiles flew at great speed and two SF-35 were shot down. The AA missiles were fired from one QAF-33 Phoenix, the Republic’s most advanced fighter jet. The two SF-35 immediately switched to normal flight mode and pushed to maximum speed and the QAF-33 followed and fired multiple AA missiles. Sergeant Mager looked at this as it was happening.
“This is Striker two-one, request reinforcement. Enemies are pushing us back.” said Sergeant Mager to his radio after he noticed more Republic’s soldiers coming and his team was outnumbered.
“Copy, standby.” said the Control Room from the Carrier. “We have pinpoint your location and the 5th Battalion are sent to your location.”
“Striker two-one, out”
Sergeant Mager and his team left the building and started advancing further. Since they wore and were assisted by exo-skeletons suits, they ran at great speed. As they ran, bullets flew everywhere, explosions were heard all over the base as hundreds of missiles were fired every minute from each side. Both side’s fighter jets could be seen flying in the sky, AA Missiles were everywhere in the sky as they flew to their target.
They hadn’t made it further before A group of Republic soldiers suddenly came out of nowhere and started attacking them. Sergeant Mager and his team saw this and immediately fired their guns at the enemy but the enemy returned fire back, causing two of his members to be injured and needed to be dragged to safety. Sergeant Mager took cover behind and started shooting at the soldiers, killing them one by one.
The Battalion arrived at their location shortly after Sergeant Mager killed the soldiers. The Battalion had ten tanks under the Battalion’s XO Command, all of which were M5A6 Abram. Medics rushed to the wounded soldiers to treat them.
“Are you ok?” said Sergeant Mager after he ran to the injured soldiers who were lying on the ground as blood started coming out from their wounds and the Medics tried their best to stop the bleeding.
“Don’t worry about me, continue the mission,” said the Private.
“Private Lorence and Private Ronen come with me.” said Sergeant Mager before he decided to continue further but his curiosity of wanting to know more about the Republic soldiers made him decide to check the Republic’s Soldiers he killed earlier.
“Exo-Skeleton.” said Sergeant Mager after he noticed all of the soldiers he killed all wore Exo-skeleton suits like them. He decided to take and inspected their guns “Energy Blaster. Interesting. Hey, take this to HQ”
1240 Hours
A SC-5 Titan that was carrying the 10 special marines were flying through the dense airspace, manoeuvred around and fired a lot of flares to disrupt missiles. It was escorted by five SF-35 Lighting IV but until this time, only two remained as the other 3 were shot down.
Inside the Cargo Plane, all 10 Marines were also ready suited in the new EKBA (Exo-Skeleton Body Armour) and this armour covered the entire body, including the head.
“Remember our objective, capture the control room. Kill anyone who is in our way.” said the Squad Leader whose name is Lieutenant Kane Fletcher before he pulled down the wiser, covering his face completely. Before his eyes was a head up display filled with different information and also the vision from the camera on the both sides of the helmet.
The SC-5 reached its designated location and the door opened. The Marines jumped out of the Cargo Plane despite the height, the EKBA has a jetpack which allowed them to slowly descending and eventually landing on their feet without breaking any bones. They made their way into a building that hosted the control room according to the Intel they got.
Lieutenant Fletcher and his team started making their way to the building’s door when the Republic’s soldiers started coming out of the door, protecting the building. Lieutenant Fletcher and his team returned fire back and eliminated the soldiers protecting the door. As they were about to reach the door, a soldier came, holding what seemed to be a weapon the marines had never seen before. Before they could eliminate the soldier, the soldier fired the gun and it suddenly pierce through one of the marine’s EKBA, severely wounding him as Lieutenant Fletcher couldn't react in time. He didn't take this well and fired his gun at the soldier, dead on the spot.
“It will take approximately 2 hours for the 2nd Regiment to get here.” said Lieutenant Fletcher as he was standing, looking at the downed Marine “You two, protect him. Me and the other 6 will go inside.”
After saying that, he walked to the door and the 6 Marines followed him. After he saw the downed soldier with the gun, he decided to inspect the weapon for a bit and realised it was a weapon that the Atlas Corporation was trying to develop.
“A Compacted Railgun.” said Lieutenant Fletcher as he was inspecting the weapon “Keep this and send it to the firearm department for them to break it down.”
After he finished inspecting the weapon, he and his team continued their way into the building further.
1330 Hours
They were very cautious as they manoeuvred inside the building. According to their map on the head up display, they were reaching the Control room. As they turned to another corridor, Lieutenant Fletcher stopped the team. He connected a camera to his leg and pushed it a bit, allowing the camera to capture what’s on the corridor. As he had expected, there was a barricade blocking the corridor and a huge number of soldiers wearing armour similar to them.

“Fuck, how are we going to pushed through this squad.” said Lieutenant Fletcher to the other marines through encrypted communication system.
“What do you mean, sir?” asked one of the Marines before the live feed from the camera showed on his head up display. “Those armours, It could probably withstand a huge amount of firepower.”
“There is one thing we can do.” said Lieutenant Fletcher
“What is it?” aske one of the Marines.
“Reverse Gravity Force Field.” said Lieutenant Fletcher
As soon as he finished talking, he pulled out the Reverse Gravity Force Field Generator from his hip and tossed it to the corridor. The Republic’s Soldiers that were guarding the corridor saw it and didn’t think much of it, when all of the sudden, a blue field was suddenly generated around the Reverse Gravity Force Field Generator and the gravity all around it suddenly got reversed. The Republic’s soldiers protecting the corridor started floating due to the reverse gravity field generated. Lieutenant Fletcher and the other Marines took advantage of this and jumped out, firing at the helpless soldiers. Lieutenant Fletcher saw that their normal guns weren’t effective against the Republic’s soldiers’ Amour so he pulled out his energy saber and started killing at the floating soldiers.
After a moment of killing, they made it through the corridor and they were near the door that led to the control room. They made it to the door and realized the door was made out of Titanium and was locked. Lieutenant Fletcher saw this and decided to just pull the Titanium door. With a huge amount of force and assisted by the Exo-Skeleton embedded into the armour, he successfully pulled out the door.
He was shocked because the room was empty and it seemed that everyone in the room had already evacuated. He walked into the room with other Marines and he realized that they can’t do anything with the base because the computer that controls the entire base was locked and cannot be accessed.
“God Damn it!” said Lieutenant Fletcher after he found out about this. “This is Lieutenant Fletcher, report to base.”
“This is the HQ, how’s the Progress?” asked the person in the Control Room in the Olympus Mons Class Lead ship.
“I hereby request for Quantum Computers to be sent here.” replied Lieutenant Fletcher as he pulled up his wise, seeing the control room with his real eyes
“Could you tell us the reason behind this request?” asked HQ
“The main computer that controls every operation in this base is locked.” Lieutenant Fletcher replied back “550 Series Quantum Computer might probably be able to crack the code and transfer command to HQ.”
“Copy, Standby.” replied the HQ. After a moment of waiting, he finally got a reply back. “Lieutenant Fletcher, we have pinpointed your location and a helicopter carrying a 550W XR is coming to your location. HQ, Out.”
20 Minutes Later
A bunch of soldiers rushed inside the room, transporting the 550W XR.
“I’ll lead you to the mainstream server,” said Lieutenant Fletcher after he met them.
He guided them into a room which seemed to be forced open by him. Inside the room was a server and importantly, the Supercomputer that controls the base. The soldiers put down the 550W XR Quantum Computer after they entered the room and a man wearing a white suit entered the room.
“I am Dr. Hower. I’ll do the rest.” said the man before he started checking the huge Supercomputer “Could all of you step aside?”
Everyone stepped back and observed Dr. Hower as he was preparing to connect the Quantum Computer to the Supercomputer. Dr. Hower opened the Supercomputer and as Lieutenant Fletcher said earlier, it was locked out under heavy security.
“Hey, give me the connection cable.” said Dr. Hower before a soldier handed him the wire he needed.
After connecting both computers through the cable, Dr. Hower opened the 550W XR and started doing his work. The Quantum Computer suddenly found something with how the base was controlled.
“Everything in the base will only take command from the Supercomputer?” said Dr. Hower after he finished reading the data. “We need another Quantum Computer.”
“Sir, we brought two.” said a Soldier before he put another 550W XR near Dr. Hower.
“Alright. I need the 550W XR to hack the Supercomputer and take every credential inside the server before transferring it to another 550W XR. This allows the second 550W XR to use that credential to disguise itself as the Supercomputer.”
“Why don’t we just use the Supercomputer?” Lieutenant Fletcher asked
“Oh, Quantum Computers are literally impossible to hack once locked.” replied Dr. Hower before he continued his work.
The Quantum Computer started trying its best to access the Supercomputer. Since Quantum Computers have a reputation for being so fast and can theoretically do anything, it easily gained access to the Supercomputer and started finding and copying the credential files to its system before sending those files to another 550W XR. After everything was sent, Dr. Hower disconnected the Supercomputer from the server and connected the 550W XR containing the credential files and let the Quantum Computer do what it needed to do to gain complete control of the base.
The Quantum Computer gained control of the base and before Dr. Hower could do anything, it disabled every defence system inside the entire base before changing the Federation’s soldiers, fighter jets and others from Enemy Forces to Friendly Forces.
Soldiers Camp
Approximately 30 Miles from the Control Room
1400 Hours
On the other side of the base, a huge battle finished as it took place near the soldier camp that hosted nearly 200,000 soldiers. After nearly 2 hours of brutal fighting, the Federation successfully took control of the camp including a runway nearby. The Federation captured a lot of prisoners of war but since they weren’t a nation who liked torturing people, they decided to just lock them up instead of some brutal torturing. They were very lucky because the base’s defence system started recognising them as friendly forces.
Airfield near the Soldier Camp
Inside Hangar No.2 was a Republic’s most advanced Aircraft, the QAF-33 Phoenix . Admiral James Norman, a 4 Stars Admiral of the United Earth Space Force and the commander of the Space Force’s 2nd Interstellar Fleet, was interested in this particular aircraft because it is the Oriented Republic’s most advanced Fighter Jet, especially the technology packed inside the aircraft.
“Hey, give me the key.” said Admiral Norman as he was sitting in the aircraft cockpit while waiting for his subordinate to hand him the key to start the aircraft.
His subordinate handed him the key and Admiral Norman started the Aircraft. He didn’t plan to fly it but he was there to check the aircraft’s interface and software because the aircraft could easily down the Federation’s SF-35, their most advanced fighter jet. He started the fighter jet and the display in front of him showed a warning message ‘Helmet Mounted Display is needed to start the aircraft’.
“Well, I guess they use English as their official language, what a coincidence.” Admiral Norman continued “Oh, so this is the reason why this aircraft has no Head up display, just like all of our fighter jets” He put on the helmet and he was surprised with how much information was displayed on the helmet. “This HMD is similar to ours, it’s very good.”
“Admiral, it appears that this aircraft uses Radar Absorbing Material.” said a Fighter Jet pilot who was checking the aircraft’s coating. “We stopped using RAM since the SF-5, like, 80 years ago due to Radar Technology has improved a lot so Radar Absorbing Material doesn’t help much.”
“This thing has the cockpit see through mode.” said Admiral Norman after he enabled the see through cockpit mode of the aircraft which allowed him to see 360 degrees through the aircraft thanks to multiple cameras all around the QAF-33’s fuselage. “How come our technology is similar to theirs?”
He took the Helmet off before stepping down from the aircraft and said to the pilot earlier “Test this aircraft.”
The Pilot, after receiving the order, climbed up the ladder without any hesitation, entering the aircraft with a bit of excitement on his face. Since the interface is similar to the SF-35, he had an easy time starting the aircraft. He put on the Helmet Mounted Display before closing the canopy.
“This aircraft seemed to be designed to be an air-superiority fighter not space since it has 3d thrust vectoring.” said another pilot who was checking the aircraft’s engine and noticed it moved in all directions during flight test.
The pilot pulled the thrust lever and the aircraft started leaving the hangar and taxiing to the runway. Admiral Norman looked at the aircraft and it reminded him of the F-47 Raptor II which was already a 118 years old fighter jet.
The Aircraft made it to the runway and took off in less than two seconds after all 4 Engines were pulled to full throttle. Admiral Norman decided to wait for the pilot to finish testing the aircraft while also watching the testing process.

2100 Hours
The room’s wall is covered in wood and there were the city’s flag and the Oriented Republic’s Flag inside the room, standing near the mayor’s work table. A white man in his 40’s was sitting on his chair drinking tea in the middle of the night, drifting through his thoughts, especially the day that the Oriented Republic made their star system under their colony about 20 years ago.
“Mayor Berenet, Mayor Berenet!” shouted his assistant after he opened the door frantically, rushing to the man sitting on the chair. “The Star System is no longer under the Republic’s control, including other 10 star systems”
“What!? What happened?” asked Mayor Berenet after he stood up from his chair, finishing his tea. “Don’t tell me it’s the United Earth Federation.”
“Yes.” replied the assistant “The United Earth Federation just gained control of the Republic’s base on this planet.”
“Which means that this Star System is now under their control.” Mayor Berenet cut his assistant’s talk.
“I am not sure.” replied his assistant, “We’ll have to wait tomorrow and see what will the United Earth Federation do to us”
They finished talking and the assistant walked out of the room and closed the door, leaving Mayor Berenet all alone in the room again. Mayor Berenet stood up and walked to his desk where his computer was placed. He opened the computer before he started researching some information about the United Earth Federation in the network. After scouring the internet for a while, he found an article that shocked him because the article he found was about the United Earth Federation becoming an interstellar nation in less than 30 years after Federation’s Home planet was unified.
