Chapter 2: Just Another Boring Chapter
The day comes and Jelle already woke up, currently packing his things. Then after he managed to pack it, he left his room. He went down the stairs bringing the bag, and there his two older brothers, sitting in a chair, while waiting for him to finish packing. His two older brothers wear proper attire, and then his younger sister Rachel also just finished wearing her dress and she left her room and went to where his three brothers were located. And Jelle’s mother, Mrs. Oriana is also ready. They are planning to go to Mrs. Oriana’s friend's place to buy a weapon for Jelle. There outside the house, Heydar is waiting in the carriage. Then since all of the family is ready they went inside the carriage and sat in the chair.
Mr. Heydar then said, “Are all of you ready?!” While looking back inside the carriage, he then began whipping the horse and the carriage moved. The carriage hit a small hard rock making it bounce a little, and Radley accidentally stepped on Rachel’s dress.
“Oops, I’m sorry I stepped on your dress, Rachel,” said Radley as he removed his feet that stepped on Rachel's dress.
“Ah! It's fine, Radley,” Rachel replied. And she continued, “But, don’t ever step on it again, okay?”
“Y-yeah,” Radley’s reply. Then he looked at the window and there he saw the beautiful view of his home town. “Look, Bard, I haven’t seen this beautiful view before, I did not know that this town is great!” he said towards Bard. And Bard looked at the window too, inserting his head outside it, and there he nearly got hit by an approaching carriage that fastly ran.
“Whoa!! I nearly got hit by that,” he mumbled. And he added, “Radley, what you said is true but I will not insert my head again on a window.”
“See,” Radley’s short reply. And Mrs. Oriana and Rachel were also looking outside the window, in their eyes you can see that they are amazed by the town's improvement over the past decades or so.
Meanwhile, Jelle does not react to what they are seeing or feeling, cause he knows what they feel, after all, Jelle’s family rarely set foot outside their house and that he is always the one that went to town to buy food that they eat and do the work that his father had left.
The Dane’s Town, over the past years this town is just very small and unproductive, however, after the current ruler of the town governed it. The town became more prosperous and many merchant traders visited the town to sell and trade their goods to the people. Every year the town’s chief will announce a tournament for the people to have a battle in the arena, and that they must beat their opponent. The tournament is viewed by all of the townsmen and many other neighbouring towns and villages come there to witness the event. The reason why there’s a tournament every year is because in order to show off the talent of the contender to a wide variety of audience. And also not just because of that, there’s also a prize that the winner of the tournament will obtain, which is a ‘rarest ore’ that is hard to find by the miners and only the skilled one can acquire.
Jelle’s brother Radley once joined the tournament and he luckily managed to win and that’s why they have an ‘ore’ in their house which they haven’t even used and they just put it as a decoration in their house. But Jelle asked his brother Radley if he could have the ore and that Radley kindly gave the ore to him. And now Jelle is currently holding onto the ore which he put in his pouch earlier just after he finished packing his things. He thought that maybe it might help him or if it is a good metallic substance in order to create a small blade or knife since the blacksmith used metals to create a sturdy blade.
And now they arrived at their destination which is Mrs. Oriana’s friend's house. The house of Mrs. Oriana’s friend is located near the City of Finn.
The carriage is parked near a tree and the three siblings of Jelle are left inside the carriage, together with Heydar. Mrs. Oriana and Jelle went together where the house is. And they knocked on the door. After a while, a woman appeared and opened the door, and that’s the friend of Mrs. Oriana. Then the woman said, “Oh! It’s you Mrs. Oriana!’’ with surprise and she continued, “What brings you here?”

“Well, I’m here for a little favor,” Mrs Oriana replied.
“Hmm...what kind of favor? The woman asked and continued, “But before you answer, please come into the house, and we can have a nice talk.” The friend of Mrs. Oriana invited.
Jelle and his mother went inside the house. The house covers three storeys, containing the living room, dining room, meeting room, and the kitchen. They went to the meeting room and there they continued where the conversation had left. They sat on a chair and the woman began the conversation.
“So, what’s this favor? The woman asked Mrs Oriana.
“It’s about making a weapon for my son,Jelle,” Mrs Oriana answered. Looking in Jelle.
“So, which means you are here for my husband, Clent, right?” The woman stated. As she leaned in the back of the chair.
“Yes, I am here for your husband, Clent, to buy a weapon for my son,” Mrs Oriana said.
“Hmm...I am sorry but my husband is currently working in the city, in his store,” The woman replied as she sounded down.
“I see,” Mrs. Oriana replied. As she looked at Jelle’s face, and then she spoke, “So, Jelle, if you want to go to Mr Clent’s store, I’ll give you money for that.”
“I’ll go, Mother, but I think I’ll go alone,” Jelle said. He stood up from the chair and then he grabbed the money from his mother’s hand. And say, “I won’t ride the carriage, I’ll just walk to the city since it’s near.”
“Okay, but be careful in the way,” Mrs Oriana said to Jelle as he left the house and went outside to go to the city.
There he saw his siblings inside the carriage. Jelle’s siblings wave at him, Jelle also waves his right hand back at them. And he walked towards them.
“I’m going to the city of Finn, to go to Mr Clent’s store to buy a weapon,” Jelle said. As he looked towards the way to the city.
“Oh, Is that so? Then we will go together with you,” said Radley.
“There’s no need, I’ll go alone, and I won’t be riding the carriage, I’ll walk with my foot towards the city,” Jelle answered.
“O-okay.” Radley replied. And Mr Heydar joined the discussion, “So, we're gonna wait here until you come back?” He asked.
“I think, maybe, yeah?” Jelle answered doubtedly. And he continued, “I’ll be back before sunset, so said it to Mom!” He shouted.
“O-okay!” shouted Radley towards Jelle.
“Let’s go inside the house?” Bard invited his siblings and Mr Heydar.
“Yeah, Let’s go.” The three answered.
Meanwhile, Jelle is currently walking along the canal in which he saw people and boats. He continued walking until he remembered that he forgot to ask Mrs. Lydia, which is the name of Mr Client's wife, The woman, about where Mr Clent store is located. Jelle decided to just continue and ask around so that he would easily get there.
He arrived at the city, and he was astonished by the huge buildings and houses that are made up of brickstone walls and the road is officially made of concrete. He noticed that most of the people at the city wore a fancy type of garments, and he thought that maybe the people who lived in the city were mostly born from a noble family. However, it is not fully wrong nor fully correct, when he arrived at the capital of the city, he discovered that he was neither correct nor wrong; it was just a miscalculation. Many people at the capital are mostly peasants from many other villages and towns, the nobles are only an intro of the city.
Jelle wandered around finding the store of Mr Clent until someone bumped on his shoulder. He did not notice the face, but the person was wearing a robe with a hat and clothes, and the person wore a mask, which makes it hard for Jelle to see the face.
“Ah! I’m sorry.” The person said. The person walked hurriedly looking like it was being chased or something similar to that.
“It’s fi-” Jelle was gonna say ‘It’s fine’ but the person already vanished before he was able to say it. He just ignored it and continued to where he was going.
Luckily Jelle managed to ask some random peasant who knew where Mr Clent’s store was. And he arrived at the store of Mr Clent.
“Uhm...Is this the store of Mr Clent?” asked Jelle looking at the man’s face.
“It is and I’m Mr Clent,” replied the man.
“Uhm..Mr Clent, I have a favor to ask of you if you have time!” Jelle ended up yelling to Mr Clent.
“Hmm..I don’t see any problem but what type of favor are you gonna ask of me?” Mr Clent asked Jelle, looking confused.
“It’s about forging a sword. I want you to use this ore for my sword,” Jelle gave the ore to Mr Clent.
“Hmm..this is rare. I’ve never seen an ore like this before! Where did you get this?”
“I got it from my older brother, Radley.” Jelle said.
“This one is good, I’ll be able to create a strong blade by using this. I’ve got an idea, come with me I’ll show you something you will surely like.”
Jelle entered the room where many kinds of swords were stored in one room.
