Chapter 16 - “Whoosh” “BANG” “CRASH” “AHHH” “Smack” ”BAM” “Swish”

“A soul? No... I’m actually not a soul,” the book spoke very gently like a woman but the sound he heard was the sound of a man.

Tethra somehow believed it, so he asked another question back, “Not a soul? Then what are you?” Tethra was surprised because usually, in most xianxia, things that were stuck inside an object were souls.

“Well... Don’t be too surprised. I’m actually a Primordial,” Tethra could somehow imagine the self-proclaimed Primordial inside was puffing up his chest in pride. Tethra got puzzled about that word he just heard. He seemed to have heard it but he forgot. Seeing that Tethra showed no shock expression, the expression of the book actually deflated in Tethra’s mind. Suddenly, Tethra remembered something.

“Primordials?! The first beings ever came to be??!!” Tethra was shocked that one of the Primordials was actually near him. He forgot about the Primordials because their records were almost nonexistent. He only got pieces of information about Primordials from bits revealed by a few records. Even then, he doesn’t know that many Primordials, the records about them are too little to be confirmed.

After noticing that Tethra was shocked, the Primordial once again puffed up his chest. Tethra still hadn’t come back to his mind. He was able to meet a Primordial which records are practically impossible to find?! Tethra had many questions waiting for the Primordial. But first, he gotta ask the most important thing.

“So, which Primordial are you?”

=====-------=====

“That guy, really! He left me just like that!” Around the time when Tethra was getting inside the machine, Liu Yue, the one that almost challenged Tethra to a duel, was walking back to the cultivation temple.

“Don’t bear a grudge to him! That’s a bad sign that you’ll meet him again!” Another voice echoed in Liu Yue’s head.

“Fine then, fuuu, haaa, fuuu, haaa... I’m done, I will just cultivate silently.”

“Yeah, yeah like that. Go far away from him, he’s a trouble to our path of MCness,” You probably already guessed about this voice inside Liu Yue’s head. The one inside her head is a soul that was transported to this world but, failed to obtain a newly dead body or a fetus.

This transmigrated Liu Yue was just a normal high school otaku that stayed at home most of the time. One day, when she was walking to a minimarket on her way home, she saw a child that was about to be driven by a truck. Of course as a normal good citizen, after she saw that, you guys already know what she would do. Yes, she just continued walking. She knew if she saved that kid she would be run over by the truck and got sent to another world. But no! She didn’t want to! Another world is harsh and she rather read them in a novel or watch them in an anime than going there herself.

Unfortunately, she didn’t see the continuation of the scene. The truck driver actually managed to turn around sharply and the child was saved, but the truck is heading to Liu Yue’s way. When Liu Yue finally noticed it, the truck was already near her. She tried to jump but, she failed and the truck hit her. When she grasped back her consciousness she was already inside a 12 years old girl’s mind, a girl named Liu Yue too. Since then, they befriended each other and the transmigrated Liu Yue planted the seed of being a main character into the naive Liu Yue. Naturally, after being transported, she didn’t want to die fast, so she chose the safest path among them. Even though being main characters has their own up and down, the transmigrated Liu Yue know that they wouldn’t die. This naive Liu Yue believed it without a doubt and started calling the transmigrated Liu Yue, Mind-Sensei.

On her—their way home, they met the guys who instigated Liu Yue into doing this. Naturally, when the guy instigated the naive Liu Yue, the transmigrated Liu Yue tried to stop her, but the angry Liu Yue already lost all reasoning and ran to the Rune Faculty. The result, of course, she ended going back without satisfaction and without being able to get rid of her anger. But overall, it was quite the successful journey, for the transmigrated Liu Yue obviously.

“Ah, Senior Sister Liu, how? Have you beaten that guy yet? He dared to be rude to Elder Pan, hmph, he shall face the wrath of Senior Sister Liu!” The disciple who instigated Liu Yue hadn’t had any clue yet. The still angry Liu Yue finally found a target to unleash her anger.

“Aah, Senior Sister Liu what happened?”

“Whoosh” “BANG” “CRASH” “AHHH” “Smack” ”BAM” “Swish” This happened repeatedly until Liu Yue felt satisfied.

Liu Yue left after finished beating up the disciple without any remorse. The disciple that got miserably beaten felt wronged because he didn’t do anything yet. He was furious and instantly directed his anger to that new disciple. He couldn’t be angered to Liu Yue because he can’t beat her, even with the cultivation stage of the peak of third cultivation stage, Strength to Qi stage. Although, their cultivation stage is the same, the difference between the first ranked inner disciple and the second-ranked inner disciple is too big that he wouldn’t even think of getting revenge on her, much less after knowing her backing. So, he tried to find the new disciple that made him like this.

Just as he was about to find the new disciple, he thought about the angry Liu Yue. If she was angry, then she didn’t manage to defeat the new disciple! “If even Liu Yue failed to beat the new disciple... he must be super strong!” The conclusion made the beaten up disciple think twice about going there himself. Thereafter, the beaten up disciple tried to find a way to thrash the new disciple by going to a certain place within the cultivation temple.

“Senior Brother Xiong!” The beaten up disciple, unnamed because he wouldn’t be used anymore, found his way to one of the rooms in the cultivation temple. There, he saw a young man with bare upper body glistening with sweat was sitting down cross-legged in the middle of the room. The young man has messy black hair, fierce brows, and fierce face. He really scared people just by looking at him. In fact, this beaten up disciple also didn’t want to get help from this person. He really didn’t like to be near him.

“What?” The one named Xiong asked while opening his glaringly red eyes. The beaten up disciple had finally gotten ready and just as he was about to speak, he saw brother Xiong lifted the bottle located in the middle of his crossed foot to drink.

“Brother Xiong, but that’s full of your sweat...”

“What? Don’t worry, I like sweets!” That’s what this beaten up disciple hate about this weird brother Xiong. But what can he do? The only top core disciple that isn't aloof is this weird guy. With the strength of 8th Revolving Qi (the fourth cultivation stage), this guy still mingled with inner disciples and outer disciples. The beaten up disciple just ignored it and proceeded to tell the story.

“It’s like this Brother Xiong, there’s a new disciple, he just entered the sect, but he was rude to an Elder, then he go around everywhere unmannered while trash-talking the sect, he absolutely couldn’t be forgiven!”

“What? He dares litter around here?!” The beaten up disciple ignored it again and continued the story.

“Then he went to the direction of Melodious Harp Cliff and after that, I don’t know where did he go anymore.”

“He still doesn’t hide after doing all that?! Fine, I will teach that rude disciple a lesson, as part of the Punishment squad, it’s my respunsibility!” Brother Xiong then got out of the cultivation room and rushed off to chase Tethra. The beaten up disciple got left behind speechless because he finally knew why no one wanted to get near this Senior Brother, not because of his scar but because of his bad puns!

Meanwhile, the Tethra that just broke out of the machine by headbutting it shivered out of nowhere. He got confused because he didn’t know why he suddenly got a shiver. He didn’t know that he would soon encounter his first puny antagonist! Ignoring it, he took a shoe from the ground and wore the right shoe that flew after he broke out of the machine.

“By the way, my shoes have gone bad now! Luckily I’m not at school, else I will be shoespended for it! Huh?! Why did I suddenly made a pun?!”
