Incident 068-26-05-1124

A bright ball of light covered the night sky in both darkness and light. The day is covered by the ball that brought night, but the rock itself is bright enough to avoid absolute darkness. Balance and harmony exist within this cycle of sun and moon.

Just as humans strive in the light and cower in the darkness, those of particular pedigree possess the ability to strive in the darkness yet cower and fade in the light. This is the balance and harmony that exists within this cycle of light and darkness.

“Ay miss! Another one!”

“Kay!”

As the girl named Abelia dashed back and forth between tables with great speed, avoiding any stray hands that tried to approach her. Her silk-like hair left those feeling like she was an absolute gem to come across in such a shabby bar.

“Here you go, sirs.”

Abelia put on a smile as she slammed the mugs down on the table, leading the foam to fly out. An older, gray-haired man covered in fur was the first to respond.

“Thanks.”

“Yeah, thanks!”

The brown-haired wolf next to him was the next to respond. A blush had appeared on his face as he had drunk through the night. The final of the three wolfmen only nodded his head to show his gratitude.

As she headed back to the bar, an unsteady hand began to reach out from behind, and before such a hand could get any closer, she smacked away with great force by the wings that appeared out of nowhere on Abelia’s back.

From just her gaze, the man trembled in fear. The three wart-covered men next to him all laughed away, leading Abelia to walk away in disgust.

“You have a lot to learn!”

“That was pretty good for a first attempt Junior.”

The men’s laughter only led to a sickening feeling in Abelia’s stomach.

With Abelia at the counter waiting for any drinks to come, she just so happened to hear the bell ring, and so she gave the mandatory greeting as such.

“Welcome!”

Through the door came an unusual sight: a woman. A woman who did not seem to be an illegal mercenary or a barbarian. She was extremely beautiful. Her hair was true silk, her skin was pale but not lifeless, and her eyes were a beautiful, ruby red similar to Abelia’s own. She walked through the entrance and found a seat as if it was normal for a beauty to be in this place. Her stride was elegant yet firm, and her presence was dazzling.

“Hello miss, what would you like?”

The usually confident Abelia, a beauty in her own right, was blushing uncontrollably as she tried to talk to the beautiful woman. The lady’s smile was absolutely radiant.

“I’ll just take whatever you recommend.”

Abelia quickly jotted down some scribbles on a notepad and bowed.

“Okay, I’ll be right back with your drink!”

Abelia rushed her words out to retreat as fast as possible. She couldn’t handle standing next to the woman any longer. When she finally returned to the bartop and placed the order, she began to blow some wind on her face, as she still had yet to calm.

“I didn’t expect to be so affected by someone's appearance.”

Her head leaned backward over the counter, her hair nearly touching the empty mugs. As she finally cooled off, the drink had been made.

Okay, stay calm when you approach her.

Strengthening her will, Abelia headed toward the lady's table with a drink in hand.

“Here you are.”

Once again, a beautiful smile from the lady.

“Thank you.”

She picked up the mug with no deliberation and chugged almost all of it in one swoop. Just as quickly as it had been placed on the table from being made, the mug hit the table hard, nearly cracking the table if not for the reinforced exterior coating.

Black wings appeared on the woman’s back without warning. A sadistic set of horns seemed to materialize out of nowhere, and a cute yet sexy tail formed with it ending with an inverted heart and pointy heart. A breath, loud enough for everyone in the bar to hear, came from the woman’s bright red lips.

“That was great!”

Her face had already flushed after the single mug.

“Another!”

“Y-yes.”

Abelia didn’t know what to think about the woman who was both attractive and reckless. She fixed her hair and placed the order.

“Fix two actually. I’ll go on break after serving it.”

The weird barkeep nodded his head in response and handed Abelia two of the drinks she had already ordered for the beautiful lady.

She gently put the mug on the table and looked at the swerving woman’s red eyes.

“Mind if I sit down?”

The woman motioned with her hand up and down repeating the same words a few times over.

“Yes, yes. Please do. Keep me company.”

She laughed as she spoke, and the flush along with her unfocused eyes made it obvious why. Abelia pulled over an empty seat and sat down. Before Abelia could even take a sip of her own drink, the lady once again drank every drop from her mug, and her condition only got worse.

“More please!”

“Miss, I think you should stop for a bit and eat something.”

Her eyes swirled around for a bit before focusing on Abelia.

“You know, you act a lot like my husband.”

The lady pointed to Abelia before leaning back on her chair with a grand smile.

“You're much better looking though."

Abelia’s face was continuously getting hotter the longer she talked with the woman across from her.

“P-please don’t mind me asking, but what are you exactly?”

“I don’t mind the question at all.”

The lady hiccuped for a moment and laughed before continuing.

“I’d say I’m half vampire and half succubus.”

The lady tried to get even a single drop out of her empty cup.

“Or something close to that, at least.”

Abelia’s blush began to vanish, and her deep red eyes widened. She began to shake in fear as she processed what the woman across from her said.

“T-then w-who’s your h-husband-?”

The lady laughed once again, her angelic voice sounding just a bit sour to Abelia

“My husband,”

Her finger tapped on the table as her drunken eyes focused on the door that she came through.

“His name is-”

A sudden bursting of the door came through to interrupt the conversation. A man similar to an ox began to screech out to everyone currently patroning at the bar.

“Knights! Holy knights! They’re on their way!”

The beautiful woman suddenly stood up. Her once flush and drunk self is now completely sober.

“Seems like my cue to leave.”

Her long legs seemed to not care about the severity of the situation. Everyone around began to run out the door in a panic while she just slowly walked over. Through the crowd, Abelia heard the woman’s voice.

“It was fun.”

Just when Abelia thought she had finally left, her voice rang out one more time.

“Oh, and my name is Daimona Kolasi.”

With that, the woman disappeared into the night, and Abelia quickly converted any sort of vampire-based features from her body, say for her red eyes she would never not be proud of.
