Block C Preliminary Final Match, Raimon v Teikoku Gakuen
[AND THE FINAL MATCH OF BLOCK C BEGINS WITH TEIKOKU’S KICKOFF! WHOEVER WINS THIS MATCH HERE TODAY WILL CLAIM THE SECOND PLACE TICKET TO THE HOLY ROAD FINALS!!]
Eyes narrowing cooly, Mika watched as the two Teikoku forwards started off the game.
“If there’s something you want to find out about soccer, then just play soccer”
Hmph. That’s what she had intended to do anyway. If she wanted to keep playing in order to find out what this inexplicable feeling she felt when she played soccer was, she needed to win here.
And once she found the answer…
“Why are you even playing soccer?”
She would be ready to fight him again.
[RAIMON’S MIKA KUROHA MAKES AN AGGRESSIVE PLAY FOR THE BALL AND QUICKLY STEALS IT BACK FROM TEIKOKU GAKUEN WITHIN THE FIRST FEW MINUTES OF THE MATCH!!]
“Mika!”
Ignoring Serika’s call to pass the ball to her, Mika just grit her teeth together before charging forward.
Makoto just shrugged as Serika opened her eyes wide in surprise and asked
“What the heck is she doing?”
This wasn’t like Mika at all, she had a rather crazed look in her eyes and it seemed like she couldn’t hear what any of them were saying or was deliberately ignoring them for some reason. Confused by the girl’s actions, Serika watched as a hand emerged from the ground and purple mist began to surround the ball.
Pandora’s Box!
Teikoku’s goalkeeper frowned a little as he watched the golden and purple shoot fly towards him. It was intimidating but…he had seen worse last week.
Jumping up into the air, an orange-yellow light burst forth from his fists and as the ball got closer to the goal he slammed back down on the ball with his fists.
POWER SPIKE!!
[NO GOAAAAAALL! Teikoku Gakuen’s goalkeeper Ikki Yamamoto successfully manages to block Raimon’s ace striker! Looks like we’re going to be in for a fierce match today folks!]
Hup
Serika gave a confused glance at Mika while watching the Teikoku Gakuen’s goalkeeper give the ball a swift kick up the field.
“Mika! Hey Mika!”
Despite calling out to the other girl, Mika gave no sign that she had heard and ran back to defend the goal.
“Did she just ignore me??”
Eyebrow twitching in anger, Serika quickly chased after her before grabbing her shoulder to stop her.
“Hey!”
“Oh, Afuro-san?”
“Oh, Afuro-san? Is that all you have to say for yourself! You’ve got some nerve today!”
Flipping her hair behind her in frustration, Serika sighed. If Mika was going to be like this then it seemed like she had no other choice…
“Fine, I’ll just have to show you. Just watch me okay?”
“???”
She didn’t know what was going on with Mika today but it was clear she had no intention of sharing her problems with her and ran up the field, ignoring the confused look she was getting from Mika.
If she wasn’t going to reach out to her then…she would have to go to her first! Mika was never going to be alone again, not if she had anything to say about it!
However, while she was lost in thought she could only watch as Teikoku’s offensive line was making their way through the Raimon defense.
Whistle
Approaching the goal, a boy with spiky yellow hair and black stripes put two of his fingers inside his mouth while the ball was above him. Looking upwards, 7 penguins crashed into the ball merging with it and the ball covered in a rainbow aura flew towards the goal as he gave a strong kick to it. From the ground emerged 7 penguins that followed closely behind the ball, each with their own distinct colour.
Emperor Penguin 7!!
Dashing in front of the ball, Galahad ran forward as shadows emerged from the ground and wrapped him up in a dark armor.
TOTAL ECLIPSE!
Letting out a small grin, Galahad stepped on the ball after successfully stopping the shoot. There was no way he was going to let a repeat of what happened in their last match against Eisei Gakuen happen again.
“Aihara-kun!”
“Hmph, seems like I’ll have to update my data on Galahad later. I’ll estimate a 11% increase in the power of 'Total Eclipse’ since last week.”
Making a mental note to do that later, Kenji pushed up his glasses to check who would be the optimal person to pass to right now.
“Gabriel-senpai!”
Swoosh
Moving to receive the ball, Gabriel was surprised to see a tiny girl come out of nowhere, hop in front of him, and trap the ball before he could move.
“That wasn’t nice at all!”
Hup
A bit annoyed that the ball had been stolen so easily from him, Gabriel jumped upwards and slammed his body weight down making a large black pot emerge from the ground and surround him and the Teikoku midfielder.
As the black pot began to turn red, the Teikoku midfielder was blown backwards as Gabriel rushed forward
The Pot is Hot!!!
Hmph.
“Makoto!”
[WHAT A BACK AND FORTH MATCH! Raimon and Teikoku continue to fight fiercely for possession of the ball with neither side backing down. Who will be the first to break this stalemate? Teikoku? Or Raimon?]
Emperor Penguin 7!!
[Gaining control of the ball again, Teikoku’s ace striker Hachi Sasu makes another attempt to make the first goal of the match but two of Raimon’s defenders appear to be making the move to block it!!]
“I can’t wait to see what face he makes when we stop his shoot!”
Looking to her right where Naoki was dashing alongside her to the approaching rainbow coloured shoot, Nariko had a maniacal smile on her face.
“Sweetie, help me out!”
“Yes my love!”
DRAIN VINE!
Kicking the ground with his right foot, a neon-green vine with numerous thorns emerged breaking the earth and wrapping around the shoot. Pulsating, the rainbow light seemed to dim a bit before being released from the thorny grasp of the vine.
Following up quickly, Nariko did a kick mid-air with her left foot releasing a large bubble-pink heart that swallowed up the ball and hung in the air for a few seconds floating before popping and resting in front of the duo.
BEWITCHING KISS!

[With a successful block from Raimon’s Yamashiro and Takasugi’s ‘Bewitching Kiss’ and ‘Drain Vine’ the first half ends at 0-0 making it still anyone’s game!!]
Teikoku Gakuen Bench
“Ugh, they’re doing better than I thought they would”
“It seems they’ve powered up a bit since their match against Eisei Gakuen”
“Let’s use that then in the next half”
“Yeah, we gotta make sure to crush them thoroughly this time if we want to make it to the finals”
“I’ll be counting on you to protect the goal then Yamamoto”
“You can count on me! You guys just make sure to score the goals or else you’re in it for after the match today!!”

[Raimon starts off the second half as this fierce stalemate between the historic rivals Teikoku Gakuen and Raimon continue to battle it out here at Teikoku Stadium! Who will claim victory and the right to move on to the next round of Holy Road!]
[Ohh Teikoku Gakuen manages to steal the ball from Raimon and without delay, appears to be getting in formation for…]
HISSATSU TACTICS : PENGUIN CARNIVAL
Serika observed as 4 Teikoku players gathered at the center of the field and whistled in unison, summoning forth a wave of black and yellow penguins that began to take over Raimon’s side of the field upon their attack.
Watching the other members get thrown away by the wave of, in his opinion, very cute penguins, Hyun-Ki quickly began to write in his journal that he brought everywhere. The exhilaration was causing his brain to move at lightspeed. This was perfect! At this rate he would be done with the latest chapter of his mange in–
“OOF”
Hyun-Ki let out a satisfied smile as a ball came crashing down into his face.
EMPEROR PENGUIN NO.2!
After getting the other Raimon members out of the way, Hachi let out a whistle while the other 2 Teikoku forwards dashed in front of him. 5 penguins then emerged from the ground as Hachi gave the ball a kick causing it to glow yellow with the 5 penguins following the ball. The other 2 forwards then kicked the ball in unison to give it a further boost and the three Teikoku members watched with satisfaction as they saw the ball smash into the Raimon goalkeeper’s face and then into the goal.
[GOAAAAAAAAAALLL! Using the same tactic that granted them victory over Seidouzan last week, Teikoku makes the first goal with ‘Penguin Carnival’ and ‘Emperor Penguin No.2’ However with 23 minutes remaining we can’t count out Raimon just yet!]
[Huh? What is this? Raimon midfielder Makoto Rikitake and forward Serika Afuro are switching positions. Will this change the flow of the game or is this just a desperate attempt by Raimon?]
“Hmph, it’s useless. They have no way to stop ‘Penguin Carnival’ according to our data.”
Getting into position, Hachi and the other 3 Teikoku members whistled together to steal the ball back from Raimon after the kickoff.
HISSATSU TACTICS : PENGUIN CARNIVAL
“Mika, go up!”
“??”
Serika watched as Mika turned around to look at her as if she had lost her mind and stared back into the questioning purple eyes with a resolute look that Mika had never seen before.
“Trust me. You’re not alone anymore Mika”
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
“......”
Pausing Mika, turned around to run towards the Teikoku goal before softly whispering under her breath.
“You’ve grown up a lot Afuro-san”
“You’re only noticing that now?”
Letting out a light laugh, Serika saw a dazzling smile on Mika’s face before seeing the other girl say
“It seems I was the one being illogical this match… I trust you…And thank you…Serika”
Hmph.
As Mika began to dash ahead of the wave of incoming penguins before they could get her, Serika took a deep breath in.
Now that she had talked so big to Mika there was no way she could mess this up.
“Guys! I’m doing it now! Get ready!”
2 Days Ago, Raimon Outdoor Field
“Please trust me! I’ll make sure we perfect ‘Path of Lightning’ so please…please help me”
Bowing politely to the other members, except Mika who was off doing independent training, the other Raimon players had a rather wide array of reactions as they saw Serika’s long hair draped over her face with her hands tightly by her side showing her nervousness.
Gabriel, Makoto and Sadao, who were busy debating whether cake, ice cream or mochi was the ultimate dessert. almost fell over at the uncharacteristic humble attitude Serika was showing.
Kenji and Akane, who seemed to be having a discussion regarding the upcoming match data, pushed up their glasses in unison, interested in whether Serika actually had something of interest to say.
Naoki and Nariko were occupied feeding each other snacks, when Nariko pushed aside Naoki in excitement at seeing the usually haughty girl bowing her head at her. If only she had popcorn right now…
Finally, Galahad was warming up with some light stretches next to Hyun-Ki, who began to write in his journal faster when he saw the commotion beginning to start, stopped, in order to see what her plan was. After they had finished their conversation yesterday Serika had gotten up suddenly and rushed off home leaving Galahad by himself on the field and curious about whether or not she had actually gained anything from their talk.
Breaking the silence, Nariko couldn’t suppress her jubilant, smug smile asking
“And to what do we owe the pleasure of this beautiful sight?”
“We need to win…and I can make it happen.”
Kenji, whose curiosity was piqued interjected before Nariko or Naoki could continue,
“And how do you plan to do that? You should know that the ‘Path of Lightning’ tactic Coach Aphrodi introduced is impossible for a team like ours. You’d need a fully synchronized team of 11 players, it’s only realistic for a pro-team to try something like this”
“It’s not impossible! I’ve memorized all of Teikoku’s attack and defensive patterns and formations. I’ve also finished analyzing all of your data as well. I can predict how all 22 players on the field are going to move and change the calculations based on how each individual reacts…”
Scoffing, Kenji replied back
“That’s impossible. Even I couldn't do that. You’d need to be a genius to be able to compute all of those calculations on the spot and without a computer…”
“I think you forget who you’re talking to”
“.....”
Kenji had nothing to say about that much to his consternation, despite Serika’s rather stupid social EQ, she was the undisputed no.1 in their school’s grade and had apparently competed in numerous academic competitions abroad as well.
“Alright, let’s try it then! What do we have to do?”
As usual, Makoto had a silly grin on his face and didn’t really understand what they were talking about but decided whatever Serika had in mind was worth a shot and so decided to speak up.
Thankful that it was going well so far, Serika continued
“Based on the enemy movements, I’ll calculate the optimal path of the ball and coordinate your movements accordingly. As long as you follow the path I set forth we should be able to move the ball up at the speed required for ‘Path of Lightning’ ”.
“So you want us to be your servants, I thought I already told you that was never going to happen”
Disappointed, Nariko had a disgusted look in her eyes hearing Serika’s plan.
“No. I’ll be the one serving you.”
“What??”
“In order to make ‘Path of Lightning’ work all 11 of us have to be perfectly in sync. We won’t be able to do this without uniting our hearts as one! You can just think of my role as…”
Kenji finished the sentence for Serika who appeared to be having trouble wording her thoughts, with a bit of a mocking tone in his voice.
“A guardian angel?”
Laughing at the absurdity, Kenji mused
“In theory, it could work…”
“Ugh, alright, let’s do it. I suppose it’s only right to pay to see something good”
“...?!”
Serika was surprised to see Nariko be the first one to agree but nodded her head in appreciation. If everyone else agreed then it would be up to her to lead the team…
“Alright, then let’s start practicing…”
Present, Teikoku Stadium
HISSATSU TACTICS : PENGUIN CARNIVAL
Phew
Taking in a deep breath, Serika paused in the center of their side of the field.
Putting her hands beside her she let out a breath as a white fog seemed to be spreading around the field.
As she began to float a little above the ground, a golden halo appeared above her head while the other team members’ eyes began to shine with a bright light the same colour of gold as her halo.
DIVINE REVELATION
Kenji who currently had the ball let out a small gasp. It was still shocking no matter how many times they had practiced it before. As if the world had gone into slow motion, he suddenly gained an awareness of exactly how the approaching penguins would move, who he needed to pass next to, highlighted with a golden aura, and even at what trajectory he needed to pass the ball at.
With this… yes it was definitely possible
HISSATSU TACTICS : PATH OF LIGHTNING
“MIKAAA”
[AMAZING!! Raimon has easily broken through ‘Penguin Carnival’ and they have somehow managed to get the ball up to forward Mika Kuroha at a speed that could barely be seen! Is this the power of their new hissatsu tactic ‘Path of Lightning?]
Receiving the ball from the last member in the hissatsu chain, Mika felt a strange sensation when she successfully trapped the ball she had just received. It was like there was a tingling sensation in her chest that was getting louder and louder.
It wasn’t completely uncomfortable though, in fact… it was rather warm…
“Mika, you’re not alone anymore”
Hearing Serika’s voice in her head, Mika thought she was imagining it but it really did feel like the ball was speaking to her.
She must be going crazy… but maybe… that wasn’t a completely bad thing.
Purple mist began to gather around the stadium however it seemed even heavier than usual.
Jumping up into the sky, Mika had a relaxed smile on her face for the first time in her life.
PANDORA’S BOX V2!!
POWER SPIKE!!
[GOAAAAAAAALLLL!!! Mika Kuroha scores the first goal for Raimon of the match, tying up the score to 1-1. With 20 minutes remaining the match the final spot for the Holy Road Finals is still up in the air. Will Raimon be able to ride this momentum to victory or will Teikoku be able to make a successful counterattack?]
Rushing up to Mika, Serika just smiled smugly before holding her hand out
Clap
“Not bad, I’d expect nothing less from my…friend.”
Coughing a bit awkwardly, Serika looked away nervously before saying
“This angel will graciously do you the favor of being your first friend…there’s no reason to thank me. That’s just how kind I am!”
“I’ll need to convey my apologies Serika but you can’t be my first friend”
“WHAT?!”
Spinning around due to the shock of rejection, Serika’s hair began to fly up and Mika may have been imagining things again but it seemed like there was a fierce fire flaring up behind her.
“Galahad-kun has already declared the two of us as ‘friends’ a few months ago so it’s no longer possible for you to be my first friend’
“That dirty, little, LEEEEEEEECCCCCCCCH of a servant boy!!!”
Before she could swear anymore, Mika decided to speak up
“But if it’s alright with you, you can be my second friend if you would like?”
Cough Cough
Cheeks turning slightly pink in embarrassment, Serika begrudgingly decided she would settle for now and get rid of the annoying leech later when the opportunity arose.
“Well…I’m feeling extra generous today so I’ll do you the honor of becoming your second friend. Hmph!”
“Thank you Serika…and I’m sorry”
Knowing exactly what Mika was apologizing for, Serika paused to look back at the girl who was uncomfortably touching her lips in nervousness. She had imagined this moment for a long time but now that she was actually seeing it, she didn’t feel as good as she thought she would. Piercing blue eyes and the face of a woman with hair as dark as Mika’s flashed in Serika’s mind. That woman was the one to blame, not Mika!
Flipping her hair in annoyance, remembering Mika’s mother Serika scoffed before replying
“......Don’t apologize, that pathetic face you have right now doesn’t suit a friend of mine”
“When you do something wrong it’s only logical to apologize and attempt to make up—”
“I don’t want to hear an apology for your mother Mika. So if you really want to apologize then you have no choice but to be my friend for the rest of your life!!”
Understood, I’ll prepare for a contract to be written for us then and contact Edmund after the match to—”
Pausing, Mika stared at Serika who had interrupted her by shoving a pinky finger in front of her a bit aggressively.
“God, Mika. If we’re friends, then this is enough ”
Letting out a small smile, Mika subtly nodded her head and crossed her pinky with Serika’s much to Serika’s satisfaction and the blonde girl let out a giggle before they turned their heads.

The whistle to indicate the next kickoff was starting soon interrupted the ambient atmosphere and the girls refocused before rushing back to their places.
They had broken through ‘Penguin Carnival’ but this still would not be an easy match, especially if they noticed what Serika had feared they would pick up on…
10 Minutes Later
“Coach Aphrodi, what’s going on? Why can’t we score anymore after the first point? Can’t Serika just keep using ‘Divine Revelation’ or ‘Path of Lightning’??”
Ikue and Yuka who were watching from the sidelines as usual both looked up at Aphrodi who was watching the match carefully. Hearing Ikue’s question Aphrodi narrowed his eyes at the close match before replying.
“Serika has probably noticed it already. It’s too risky to use ‘Divine Revelation’ a second time to activate ‘Path of Lightning’. ‘Divine Revelation’ is a technique that places an incredible mental burden on the user due to the need to simultaneously gain an overview of the field, calculate and analyze the movements of all the players on the field and then transmit the information to the rest of the team. She most likely would be able to activate it one more time but there’s another issue…Mika and Serika are probably the only two on the team who have the striking power to make it through Teikoku’s goalkeeper. However, with Serika coordinating the team in midfield, Teikoku is able to apply more pressure onto Mika, preventing her from scoring or receiving the ball.”
“Then why hasn’t Teikoku made a counterattack yet?”
“Just like Teikoku is holding Mika in check, just by being in midfield and being able to activate ‘Divine Revelation’ Serika is preventing them from using ‘Penguin Carnival’ for a 3rd time. If it fails, that would open them up to a counterattack from us which is why we’re currently at a stalemate…”
Processing what Aphrodi was saying, Ikue tapped her chain a few times with her finger before saing
“So basically if we had another striker with enough power to get through Teikoku Gakuen we’d be okay?”
Nodding his head, Aphrodi confirmed
“With Akuma gone, it has definitely made an impact on the team…”
Listening to this conversation beside him, Yuka’s face darkened as he turned his head downwards and clenched his fists tightly…If only he could help…He wanted to play soccer too…but why wasn’t he improving??
It wasn’t fair…
Not noticing the sullen mood of the boy next to her Ikue let out a cheer
“Ganbatte everyone! You got this! Just one more goal!!”[1]
Meanwhile, on the field Serika tried not to bite her nails nervously. She had come to the same conclusion as Aphrodi, unless they had something to break this stalemate it would be hard for one side to tip the scales in their favor…
“Serika, switch with me.”
“Why?”
“I see you still love the question ‘Why?’ Serika. Just trust me”
Mika looked at Serika with a confident gaze that was very different from the look she had at the beginning of the match. If it was like this then…
[OH? It seems that there is yet another position change going on in Raimon with their ACE STRIKER MIKA GOING TO MIDFIELD?? Has Raimon completely given up or is this a new strategy to get the last point?]
Stretching her arms out, Mika ran in place a little to warm up. It seemed like that Mr.Passerby’s little gift would actually be coming in handy making her only more curious about the identity of the strange man who had been teaching her this hissatsu the past week.
Tch
Watching Mika switch positions with Serika, Hachi smirked before muttering to himself
“This is going to be a piece of cake”
Motioning to 3 of his teammates, Hachi got into formation
HISSATSU TACTICS : PENGUIN CARNIVAL
Observing the Teikoku forward running towards her behind the army of penguins that had begun their attack, Mika put her left hand near her heart as it began to charge with a bright green energy. ‘Penguin Carnival’ was just a hissatsu tactic that relied on disrupting the enemy team’s rhythm so all she had to do was find the right timing to steal the ball back…
Running past Hachi, Mika finally let the power that was flowing from her heart out and the space turned black before a green line appeared in a wave-like pattern.
AGGRESSIVE BEAT
“WHAT?!”
Ignoring Hachi’s gasp of shock, Mika gave the ball a fierce kick sending it arcing towards Teikoku’s goal.
“Serika!”
White wings flew out from behind Serika as she flew up high with the ball floating above her.
GOD KNOWS REMASTERED!
Counter Drive!
[GOAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Raimon’s Serika Afuro scores their next goal making the score 2-1. With 5 minutes remaining on the clock will Teikoku be able to even up the score or is Raimon going to be the ones to move on from Block C?]
“Hachi!”
“Hachi!”
Hearing his teammates call out his name in desperation, Hachi quickly ran up the field after the kickoff. He wasn’t going to let it end here…no way was he going to be the captain the first year that Teikoku Gakuen didn’t make it to the Holy Road Finals.
“ARGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH”
Letting out a scream he managed to make it close enough to shoot when he saw a boy with glasses and headphones around his neck move in front of him.
“I can’t just let all of our work go to waste here today so I’m going to need you to stop right there”
EMPEROR PEN–
Watching the Teikoku Gakuen forward get ready to shoot, Kenji began to write several pink-coloured equations with his finger that began to surround the other boy. Green-lined hexagons then began to show up on the ground and Kenji ran forward to steal the ball.

[And with a nice save by midfielder Kenji Aihara, Raimon escapes danger and will be moving on to the Holy Road Finals as Block C’s runner-up! Congratulations to Raimon and we’ll be looking forward to your match in the quarterfinals next month!]
“WE DID IT MIKAAA!! Ahem, I mean, we’ll be moving on to the Holy Road Finals just like I knew we would”
Rolling her eyes, Mika couldn’t help but smile herself watching Serika celebrate their victory.
It really did feel quite refreshing for some reason. She had been to the quarterfinals last year but their victory here today felt very different from their win in the district preliminaries last year.
Turning around she saw the rest of the team celebrating in excitement, and Mika looked upwards towards the baby blue sky without a single cloud in sight.
This was a new beginning…

Teikoku Stadium Stands, Raimon v Teikoku Match
“What do you see?”
“Nothing”
“......”
Daigiichi cautiously took a look at his older brother who had just gone silent. Seiryuu was the only one who knew that Daigiichi could see people’s auras as colours but he usually wasn’t interested in knowing what anyone’s aura was. That was one of the reasons he had told him in the first place afterall. When he had told people at the orphanages he had stayed in the past or with foster families, they had always sent him to see weird doctors or just gotten rid of him completely thinking he was crazy.
Unable to bear the silence anymore, Daigiichi couldn’t hold back his curiosity at what Seiryuu was thinking despite knowing he was in a particularly bad mood due to their match against Seidouzan yesterday, where they had won 6-0 and asked,
“Don’t you want me to double-check?”
“....No, it suits a person with no heart like her”
Watching the entire match attentively, Seiryuu didn’t miss any small details. Seeing the relaxed smile on Mika’s face that didn’t suit the girl who usually looked like a block of ice he felt his heart speed up a little.
Maybe she wouldn’t disappoint him after all…
He wanted to crush her at her best, and their last match hadn’t satisfied him at all. Opening and closing his fist in anticipation for a rematch, Seiryuu got up to leave the stadium, with Daigiichi following closely behind and the two were quickly swallowed up in the crowd of people leaving the stadium as well.
Meanwhile, Other Side of the Stadium
Yawwwwwwwwn
Struggling to keep his eyes open, Tamaki opened his mouth widely to let out a loud yawn. After finishing he took a quick look at the pink-haired boy sitting next to him.
“Isssss it overrrrrrrr yet?”
“......”
While the pink haired boy continued to stare silently at the field below, the boy with short dark gray hair on his right gave Tamaki a dirty look before yelling
“You have the guts to ask if it’s over or not when I know you’ve been sleeping the entire match?”
“We’ve alreadyyyyyy seen Raaaiiimon fighttttt before. They’re stilllll boringgggggg”
“Ugh”
Ignoring the white-haired boy who was determined to nap, the boy with multi-colored eyes turned his head to ask the other member of their trio
“Any updates to Project Mars?”
“Mmhmm, I think I’ve found someone interesting…”
“Really? Who? That angel girl or the other one, No.10?”
“Neither”
“??”
“Come on, let’s go”
Refusing to explain anymore, the pink haired boy waited for Tamaki to be wrapped in his blanket and attached to the short-haired boy’s back for transport before the trio left the stadium.
