Discovery of his ability

His heart was palpitating. The shirt stuck to his back, in this room with no light, this young man had surely caught himself into a dangerous situation. The treasure he came here for was just there, but how would he easily be able to escape without being detected? Of course, that glistening aluminium card, surely there was enough time before its owner would return. With a grasp of his palms of sweat, the young man scurried off to his base. A glistening metal pane, showing all sorts of lights and rays, enlightened his room.

“Mom’s credit card, I’ve got it. I have 30 minutes before she returns. I’m going to buy as much V-bucks as I can with this” yet his throat gulped, as he knew the risk he brought to himself. This mystical panel, showing an ancient insignia, had a form the man scurried to fill out.

10,000 V Bucks, Yes indeed, that is what he bought. But at that moment, the cogs of the universe was set in place, and through sheer coincidence, fortune and a certain god’s will, his mind died right there. Pants soaked in gold, his excitement lead to a heart attack. His soul transported, and survived its transition to an entire new universe.

Soon, this universe would be his own domain, his very own battle royale.

At the peak of noon, this city that seamlessly blended with the mystical nature, was bustling with civilisation. Grand arch trees encapsulated and sheltering this city, with the mountains as its natural defence, this truly was a city of nature. And it was his new hometown.

The boy jumbled around in confusion, “What on earth, what, where am I, What’s going on?” In his stupor, he scurried around in the small garden he was in, muddled for a while. “I’ll look around and ask someone, maybe I can figure out where am I. But, this isn’t normal, how did I instantly appear in an entirely foreign place, what the hell. Maybe I shouldn’t have taken my mom’s credit card, did she drug me or something?” visions of a troubled past between his mother and him caused him reminiscence of their relationship. A buoyant man came into view, his beer belly obscuring his vision. “Alright kid, for now I’ll get the gardeners to teach you how to tend to the plants, then I’ll give you a break for the rest of the day. Your slave contract will last for only 3 more years, so I’ll let you off learning some delicate work, labour still doesn’t suit your figure. You can head to the backyard quarters for lunch break soon; your colleagues will be there. I’ll be gone because of some business.” As he waddled off.

His mind enwrapped in nostalgia, gained the remnants of his memories of this body. A simple orphan who hailed from the orphanage of Amnoore, his life was made smooth with the bustling economic growth of the city, catering to all of its civilians. At the age of 12, he decided to enter into a slave contract to gain experience and leave the orphanage, to find his place in his world. But he died, to something, and the mechanisms of the heavens lead to the mind of this boy from earth to gain this body. His body was unusually hot, and his heart still beating rapidly, so he took a small bath at the manor yard as he remembered, and came back for his gardening work.

A gentle old man came from the shed, carrying tools. “Alright kid, time for your gardening lessons. I’ll be showing you the basics on how to use these tools.” And so he learnt, and ate lunch.

“I have some savings from the work I’ve done, I think I’ll look around the city, get an idea of where I’m at, these memories are still hazy, but I reckon I won’t get lost”, yet, as his mind became further clearer, and his soul conformed to this new body, his vision improved, and he noticed something unusual. It was strange, it was in his vision, yet not, an imagination of his mind too closely interfering with reality. 2 bars were shown, 1 empty, and one green, and 3 white bars at the height of his vision.

“Everyone here looks really Asian, I suppose this is a place in some asian country? I mean this city of Amnoore, so they’re Amnoorians? I don’t know, my knowledge is still barebones. Didn’t I learn some of this stuff from the orphanage, maybe it’s taking time for the rest of my memories to come. Still, am I still dizzy, I see the UI from that game here? Ughh, maybe after some time my vision will fix itself up.” Brimming with vigour, he stretched out his body as much as he can, jogging around town to get a feeling of his body. Suddenly, someone enthralled his neck in their arms. “Bastard, where the fuck were you, don’t you know you’re meant to get your ass to where we chill out. It’s boring without your dumbass.”

Ah right, this guy was a local bogan, and he messed with me a lot for fun. He held his arm around my shoulder while leading me to an alleyway. I’m remembering all right. He collected his thoughts remembering his time, but he was still scared, after all he was just an average young boy, who never fought anyone or had an aggressive encounter. He was worried, because he knew they used him as a punching bag.

“Oi Qin Luo, how’d you find him so fast, we thought he ran away. Hey kid, where’s our lunch, why didn’t you buy it fool” this scrawly lean teen yelped, trying his hardest to act menacing. “ This fool actually brought his money with him, we’re taking it, split 3 between us.” Qin Luo grabbed my savings I usually carried around, which was my 2 years of salary. Perhaps I should have only taken some money scouting town, this is really scary. “What the..why does he have a lot for a kid, is this his entire savings? Of course a bastard would be this stupid. Xu He, Feng Miao, lets split this”

The 3 croons kicked the young boy down, and took his entire savings. He was surely scared, as he never truly was in such a violent situation, but yet, his muscles brimmed with vigour, and his body had a strong desire to act. To act, that’s all he had to do, to not be seen as a push over, to fight for control and freedom, but what can he do? The green bar reduced slightly, and out of habit, he had intention, to press the 3 white bars and select an unusual insignia. This was his gift that he received, his own unique ability that he received transitioning to this new world. The insignia was of a white figure, with its limbs contorted in a strange fashion. He willed it to activate, and then.

“The brat’s standing up, Qin Luo beat him senseless, I’ll hold the cash.” Xu He glanced as he drooled, he sure won big time.

“Che, this bastard, I’ll deal with his ass don’t worry” cracking his knuckles, Qin Luo prepared to deal with that bastard, but then he decided to do such strange movements, he was baffled.

The boy’s hand clapped, and it resounded, yet his shoulders and his knees moved elegantly, and danced. A nostalgic yet hearty sound danced into his ears. His wrists flung back, and flown back and forth, then another resounding clap with his hands and his knees touched. Once again the beat of his body continued, and he flung his wrist completely down, rising towards Qin Luo, striking a point, yet it seemed strong. Then, he crossed his arms, but enough to hunch his back. Yes, this movement, he surely was familiar with, a legendary signature notorious in his past life. The fortnite default dance.

“This fool, has he gone mad, what ridiculous dance was that?” Qin Luo went for a liver punch, to quickly deal with the boy, and yet, something was off. He was standing, fuming with resolute, and then moved.

“I know what to do know, Qin Luo, I’ll be dealing with you today.” His voice was strong, nary of fear, but strength. Then, he moved.

A clap so resounding, it immobilised his fist, then, his steps were mystified in the wind, as he thrust his wrists back and so did the wind, Qin Luo was thrown onto the floor, but before he landed, another clap resounded on his skull. That was enough to knock him out, yet the boy still continued to dance, his wrist completely south, and Xu He decided to dash in to punch the brash boy they always bullied, yet the boy struck forth with a point, straight on Xu He’s skull, and in this small timeframe knocked out 2 of his most feared people. Feng Miao was shellshock, and could not process what just occurred, and yet in that meanwhile, the boy immediately appeared before him, then finished his dance with a hunched cross of his arm, but not without tangling Feng Miaou’s skull inbetween, knocking him out.

With the resounding strength of a dance, he dealt with 3 of his most feared croons. Yet, his body still glistened with power. And he gained some strange notification.
