Lloyd

----------------------------------------

"Ha!"...."Ha!"...."Ha!"

"Good form son," Arthur praised. Lloyd wiped his sweaty mat of light brown hair. He smiled. It was a good day today. Warm sun. Cool breeze. He can do this all day. He was skeptical at first when his father recommended him to start form training last cycle. So far all he's done is swing his wooden stick up, down, up, down, up, down. For Ultor's sake, it was boring, but he suspect the results will show for themselves. Always keep smiling, Arthur told him when he first started his training. It's the best way to trick one's mind and body to do the important, but boring, things. You must learn to focus your mind, discipline your body, and master your emotions. No one became a master swordsman overnight. Or that's what his father keeps telling him anways.

"I don't think I can do this form any better pa. I've been at it for a whole cycle," Lloyd said. "I'm ready for the next one." He had continuously done this single form only. Supposedly it will teach him patience and nurture his arm strength for real swords. He wasn't sure though, since the stick didn't feel any different, even after a whole cycle of only swinging it up and down.

Arthur mused to himself. "I'd say you are, but are you ready." He continued to study Lloyds stance.

"Yessir!"

"Alright, let me show you the next form. Here, watch closely."

Arthur proceeded to swing his wooden stick from left to right. Left to right. Left to right.

Lloyd stared at his father. One of absolute consternation.

"Did you see it, son? Or do you need another demonstration?"

"Aaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!" Lloyd cried.
