One hour later [***Gregor trapped in the mirror image world (I.e. Another dimension). In real life Gregor’s account is banned. In the game his avatar Lord Aldoor is trapped in a containerized version of the CM. Some key things needs to happen before the endgame scene.
Jet needs to become a pain in Aldoor’s side (i.e. restoring the pillar, etc)
Shonda breaks away from Aldoor’s grasp
The last battle will be Jet and Shonda against Aldoor and the Mad Queen.]
Jet was dragged from the prisoner wagon and thrown to the ground. She coughed as gray dust filled her lungs. She was in the center of a circular arena made of stone. She felt the resurgence of magical energy as her bindings were removed. Ashony waved to a crowd of onlookers as she strode to the center of the arena. The crowd cheered.
I will give her the fight of her life.
Queen Amerdelle and Lord Aldoor positioned themselves in the center, just above the arena floor. They had the best view of the action.
Jet checked her gear. Everything was accounted for. She took in a deep breath and held the amulet. The old woman had called it an Apostle's stone. She had no idea what power it actually had, but Ashony's reaction was evidence that it contained powerful magic.
"Let the contest begin," Queen Amerdelle said.
The crowd roared and stomped their feet in an anticipation of the battle of a lifetime. A Magi and a Grand Magi. It didn't matter what her level actually was, everyone knew her on sight as the Grand Magi. The game may not have transferred all of her stats, but her reputation and status were intact.
"Prepare to be laid low," Ashony said.
"Bring it."
The amulet warmed against her skin. She saw the yellow radiance fill her peripheral vision.
She put on her reagent belt, which allowed fast access of the materials. Magi's didn't require reagents for level seven and below. Although this was a disadvantage for jet, she was practiced at locating them. She would not falter in her task. She would put these magi in her place, then she could work on unseating Aldoor. A quick inventory of the scrolls from the dungeon master revealed several single use fireball spells, a mass hemorrhage and a rumble spell. She gasped as she noticed a parchment with ornate lettering with blue and gold trim.
Is this an apocalypse spell?
Many of the single use scrolls could be used by a mage. The limitation was that the mage needed the reagents and be within two levels of the caster.
I don't think I can use these higher-level scrolls, but it will not stop me from trying.
Another advantage that Jet had been her Evocation specialty immediately gave her an advantage with all elemental magic. She had no idea what Ashony's specialization was but, she needed to be ready for anything that the Magi would throw at her.
"Bem-Dak-Vet-Sil-Mth," Ashony said.
She's using dark magic! Magi's aren't supposed to have that.
"In-Por-Cad-Cras," Jet said as her magic shield encircled her.
The amulet became hotter and absorbed the fireball as if it were a pebble. Jet brought up both her and Ashony's status bars. The Magi grasped some reagents that Jet couldn't see.
"In-Por-Dak-Ot-Mth," Ashony chanted.
Half of the Magi's mana was used in the spell. Less than twenty-five percent remained. Jet's heart sank as a circle of blue and yellow flame encircled Ashony. In the middle of the circle, a fissure opened. Two massive hands pulled it apart. A massive red-faced pulled itself through. It towered over the Magi, who stretched her arms in the demon's direction and a red energy shot from her hands. The demon writhed, then grew from the boost. Ashony's health reduced by half and the remainder of her mana disappeared. The demon roared as it grew and charged Jet.
How in the hell am I going to defeat that?
"Bem-Por-Sil-Vet," Jet chanted.
The demon froze into place. She had only a moment or two before the demon would break free, so she had to deal some damage--quick.
"Bem-Em-Vet-Sil," Jet said as the fireball scroll ignited.
Her version of the fireball was twice as big as Ashony's, and it took a third of the demon's health. Ashony regained some of her mana and cast a magic shield on the demon, preventing further damage. Jet didn't waste the mana or reagents on any additional offensive spells until it wore off. The crash of crushing ice reverberated throughout the arena as the demon broke free. The jeers and cheers from the crowd echoed through the arena. She cast a magic shield as the demon bore down and pounded on it. It lasted about two seconds before it disappeared. She dodged one of the demon's massive hands. But, she wasn't fast enough to avoid its tail. She flew across the arena and landed hard. about three quarters of her health evaporated.

Why didn't I cast flight? It would have saved at least half my health.
The demon said something that Jet couldn't make out. Jet grasped the amulet and envisioned herself at the other side of the arena.
"Un-Por-Vet."
A moment later, Jet was at the far end of the area, far away from the demon. She didn't think she was powerful enough to beat the demon, but she had to try. Her mana was at forty percent and slowly rising. She didn't have enough time to meditate to get more, and she didn't have many potions. She estimated that the demons would disappear soon. She had to hold out until then. The circle of power gave the demon three times the duration. Jet had injured it, but it was far from dead.
She cast another fireball. The demon absorbed the blast like it was nothing. Jet rummaged through her scrolls and found one with red lettering which read: Quicksand.
"Bem-Por-Un-Sil-Vet."
The ground before her shimmered and loosened. As soon as the demon stepped into the area, the ground devoured it. The creature screamed as it tried to get out of the sinking hole. The more it tried, the more quickly it sank. It stopped at its neck then opened its mouth. A tongue rolled out like a viper and struck jet on the side. She threw up a shield, but she was too late. Less than ten percent of her health remained. And something was leaching the rest an alarming rate.
I've been poisoned.
"Bem-Un-Por-Cad," Jet said, concentrating on the power of the blast at the demon's head. It exploded. She fell and frantically rummaged through her pack to find a potion or scroll to aid her.

System Message: Health Critically Low: Cast a healing spell, take a potion or find some bandages post haste.

As Jet looked for an item that would grant her more health, she noticed that Ashony was healing. She must have used a mana potion as well, since she was nearly at full strength. A quick calculation on what she needed to survive revealed that she needed approximately three percent more mana to cast a shield and a healing spell. As she did this, Ashony's mana dropped by sixty percent. Jet dodged a fireball before she was able to cast her magic shield spell. The Apostle's stone was so hot it burned her skin. She was left with one hit point, she dodged another fireball and had four seconds on the clock before she would have enough mana to cast a light heal spell. She had two seconds remaining on the clock when Ashony cast not one, but two circles of power. Jet watched in horror as another demon and some other strange beast with a black circle hovering over its head. The demon did something unexpected, it started attacking the second creature that the Magi cast.
I only have a few seconds left before I'm toast.
The beast opened several portals at various positions. Sludgelings oozed out of each portal. One of the slimes latched onto the demon. Half of its health disappeared as it fought the sludgelings. Ashony cast a spell Jet didn't know. It looked like a red flare which exploded atop Jet's position. The demon and the portal beast's attention was diverted toward her.
A quick inventory and some rough calculations told her that she didn't have the health or mana to cast the spells needed to get the upper hand. She got into a defensive position and was determined to parkour her way out if needed. She noticed a flashing icon on the corner of their field of view. She tapped on it. The creatures were five seconds away from annihilating her.

System Message: It looks like you could use some help. Would you like to enable your auto AI now?

What the hell, I'm going to die, anyway.
"Yes, enable it!"
An old man with glasses appeared. His white mustache and hair reminded her of an ancient animated movie about an old toy maker and his wooden son.
"Hello young lass, my name is Jeppedo and I'm here to--"
"Cut the shit, help me now!" Jet screamed.
Two seconds remained before the pummeling would resume.
"These creatures are evil in nature. Might i suggest using the resist evil spell scroll in your inventory?" the AI said.
I didn't know I had that.
"In-Por-Vet-Em."
The demon bounced from her like it hit a wall of rubber. The fall exhausted its health, and it collapsed on the ground. The portal beast opened four portals and eight sludgelings oozed from their foul holes. The Apostle's stone whined. The sludgelings exploded, covering her in a mess of black goo. The portal beast extended a furry arm toward jet and it screeched as it was severed at the elbow. Ashony appeared to be casting some electrical field. According Jet's HUD, she would get the shock of her life in three seconds. Jet held onto the stone as she snatched the Apocalypse scroll which had the writing: Use only in extreme circumstances. As soon as she touched the seal, the arena exploded. Spectators, Ashony and the portal beast tumbled in all directions. Pools of blood spilled onto the gray dirt. A vortex of gray spun out of control before her.
Are those tornados?
Ashony cast a shield, but the ground before opened and swallowed the Magi whole. Enormous land waves tore up the floor of the arena. The stone foundations for the arena buckled and collapsed. Moments later, it all stopped. Other than a few moans and desperate cries, everything in her immediate vicinity was either dead or dying.
What have I done?
A fierce wind shot through the arena. The force of it knocked Jet off her feet, and she tumbled. A quick glance at her health and mana bars revealed alarmed her. She was at twenty percent health and dropping rapidly. She cast a magic shield and hunched down. Several moments later she dared look at her health bar. It was at fifteen percent and rising.
The shield has held, how is that possible?
After what seemed like an eternity, the dust cleared and there was no sign of anyone, except Queen Amerdelle and Lord Aldoor. They loomed overhead like a couple of vultures waiting to pick the flesh off her bones.
“JetaGirl, I see that you came out alive after all. Congratulations,” Lord Aldoor said.
“I have won. Now give me my freedom.”
“Of course. I will do one better. What do you think about being our new champion?”
“Never.”
“Not only will be get to be the only Grand Magi, you’ll have access to every magical spell in the realm. You will be formidable.”
“She will be back,” Queen Amerdelle said.
“You bet, so you’d better be ready for the ass kicking of a lifetime,” Jet said.
The Grand Magi strode away without as much as a look back on the destruction she’d wrought.
