chapter 2: tree huggers and the desertstone sea

%three days ... three whole days. and these idiots still run around like a couple of headless chickens%

three days after alex opened his dungeon for the world, he had his first invaders, a group of elves but after three days still had not defeated the boss. they only approached the monsters to watch them and then went back to the entrance.

the reason why alex called them tree huggers is because the elves have hugged the trees literally and talked to them. Of course, alex could not know that they did it only because the elves could examine the trees with wood magic and read the blue boxse's. they made it with all the plants except the Raging Trees as they seem to be afraid of these trees, but this seems to be justified in alex eyes as these trees can actually be dangerous and look creepy as fuck.

after a while more elves came and these also fought with the monsters and unfortunately also won most of the time, sometimes alex could also see how his pets put the invaders down. the goblins were especially brutal, what was also to be expected since alex had created these little lunatics just like that. for everyone who died inside his little forest, alex got a few energi points which he could use to do everything possible like for example buy new things for the dungeon or change something on its floors.

and after a month of dead elves alex could afford to add a new floor

this time alex decided for a desert theme, this desert was rather flat and had a rock plate now and then about 4 feet higher than the sand layers. these stone plates were for about 700 to 1100 feet in the diameterand coverd in plants, the desert itself is about 25 miles big.

since it did not need as much planting in a desert, alex chose only 2 plants but 6 monsters

the plants grow only on the stone plates and were changed as much as possible, which made these two plants unique

the first was a flower

Race: Desertstone-Flower Description: a flower with seven dark orange petals and a black green stalk covered with small red thorns. the bloom can be processed into a pain-relieving medicin. only grows on stone Level of Danger: 0

the second plant was a cactus. would be strange if it werent.

Race: Desetrstone-Cactus Description: an about 15 feet high green cactus with long iron hard black thorns. the whole cactus is overcoated in a weak paralysing poison. only grows on stone Level of Danger: 1

In the six monsters, alex was particularly creative, the monsters were high-shark, red scorpion, giant bee, green lizard, zombie and lesser earthworm.

the high-shark was now a:

Race: Desertstone-Shark Description: a 12-foot sand-colored shark that can grow sandstone plates as armor and has teeth harder than stone

Sand for Water: the ability to swim and breathe in sand as if it were water

Sandstone-Armor: the ability to grow sandstone plates as armor

Stone Teeth: the ability to grow stone teeth

Level of Danger: 1.7

next the red scorpion.

Race: Desertstone-Scorpa Description: a humanoid, about 3.6 foot big dark red scorpion whose poison sting feels like the worst of all burns

Race Skills:

Poison Immunity: immunity to all poisons

Burning Sting: attacks with the sting add a special poison

Level of Danger: 1.3

what alex made with the bee was not so easy to figure out.

Race: Desertstone-Boom-Bee Description: a 1.5 foot red-yellow striped bee which kills itself in an explosion, createing a large poison cloud which makes breathing impossible

Race Skills:

Cloud of suffocation: a self-sacrificing ability to create a large cloud of poison that makes breathing impossible

Level of Danger: 1

the green lizard was much easier.

Race: Desertstone-Lizard Description: a 7 foot long and 4 foot high lizard with a dark yellow color and a thin body. This monster is blind, but has an extremely strong sense of smell and weak earth magic with which it senses vibrations

Race Skills:

1.Grade Earthmagic: (Sandbullet)(sense vibrations)

Smell-View: a ability with which one can smell so well that one even smells colors and forms

Level of Danger: 1.5

the zombie's turn.

Race: Desertstone-Corpse Description: an undead who looks like a completely dried up corpse with sharp claws . this type of undead always runs in groups of 3-5 and has the ability to, upon skin contact, drain liquid

Race Skills:

Cooperation: the ability to work well with others

Desert's Curse: the ability to drain liquid upon contact

Level of Danger: 0.8(alone) 1.5(group)

and the lesser-earthworm.

Race: Desertstone-Worme Description: a mud-brown, twelve foot big worm, which digs through the earth with a mouthful of acid and hundreds of razor-sharp black teeth

Race Skills:

Acid-Bite: a bite which is strengthened with acid

Master-Dig: the ability to dig through earth and stones as if they were nothing

low-Regeneration: slight increase in self-healing

Level of Danger: 2

When alex had finished, he had to make a boss and the entrance into the desert, and especially with the later, he had to think about what this type of entrance as it could be used for all still coming floors

for the boss he took a worm

Race: Desertstone-Deathworme Description: a dark red-brown colerd, thirty-three foot big worm, which digs through the earth with a mouthful of strong acid and hundreds of razor-sharp black teeth made of iron. has medium resistents to earth and low resistents to fire and water

Race Skills:

Strong-Acid-Bite: a bite which is strengthened with strong acid

Master-Dig: the ability to dig through earth and stones as if they were nothing

medium-Regeneration: increase in self-healing

Iron Teeth: the ability to grow iron teeth

Level of Danger: 3

with all monster finished began alex now to create the entrance for new floors.

floors are now all surrounded by an impossibly large walls which had somewhere a large doubleor with the name of the next floor, now you just had to open the gate somehow and pass through. important is still to mention, which one only sees white light wean the gate opens and one can only after approximately 10 steps see something again.

%now that is done, I look back at how my goblins split a few elves into their parts and sullen in it, that is always pure entertainment%
