A green-skinned girl with semi-transparent flesh permitting her bones to be seen through her bare skin was being carried by a pitch-black skinned woman with similarly visible bones. The wings on the green-skinned girl’s back were folded in behind her back and her clothes were in her arms. Their tails swung with the rushing of the air behind them as they went
“Try to put your clothes on before we get there… although your shirt may no longer fit.”
“Where?”
“I’m taking you back to where the elves are arriving so we can explain it to them faster once the last one comes through, we’ll all wait in the room I took you first.”
Once they arrived back in the room the green girl had her pants on and was contemplating her shirt. An elf with a knife looked at the two in fear and backed herself up against the wall. The black one quickly deposited the green one on a nearby table and left her to figure out how to put her clothes on.
Swiftly she, the black one, told the elf.
“Quickly follow me before we are found out.”
Once again the scene of a baffled elf looking at the woman, who shouldn’t be able to speak her language, addressing her in fear as the other woman sat in a half-asleep daze weakly trying to dress herself only for her wings to tear through her shirt.
“ah…”
“I’ll get you a toga later. The humans cannot know we used to be elves”
“wha-”
In shock, the other girl gasped but was swiftly grabbed and pulled away from her spot as another elf fell to replace her.
“come on,”
She grabbed both elves by the hand and dragged them into the previous chamber. The green-skinned girl lightly patted herself on the cheeks until her eyelids were no longer heavy and looked around the room. she took her bra and put it on for now concluding that it was going to have to do.
She slowly began to flex her wings and watched as the thin translucent membrane moved in the light of the room. she almost didn’t notice the elf that soon joined her. When she did notice her she got off the table and helped her up.
“You might want to move.”
The elf jumped back at her outstretched hand as another elf fell where she was moments prior. The black-skinned girl returned with a naked red-skinned girl in hand. After placing her on the table the black one said,
“Follow me, come on, come on we don’t have all day.”
This repeated itself several times until all the elves were turned into daemons after which the first girl led the others down a path they didn’t originally go down.
“Hurry, hurry the master will be upset if we don’t hurry.”
“What master?”
They entered into the next room, a large open room with slightly stronger lights than the others before it. Lining the floors were rows upon rows of dirt plots, a fair number of them with plants growing from them. Several sprouts, and some livestock. In the centre of the room was a purple-haired pale-skinned woman in a lab coat wearing no more than a bra and shorts underneath.
[“Welcome back Maria, I trust you brought the girls?”]
“Yes archive, can you assure our safety from the master?”
[“If you can provide enough food here to sustain us all you’ll be protected from the humans for the rest of your days, I’m sure Mia would be glad to hear of this as well.”]
“I don’t care about Mia I just want to escape the war and that wretched man who did that to Helmi.”

[“In time he’ll come to know there are none better than I and he’ll release your friends as soon as he gets bored of reprograming those defective children again, just as he always does, he’ll simply return to me and I’ll, in turn, return your friends to you.”]
The woman collapsed on the floor and sighed in relief as if all the tension she’d been carrying had simply disappeared. The green one walked up from the crowd as the others began to dress themselves again.
“Where are we?”
[“This is the mount of heroes, though as former elves you’d probably recognize it better as the residence of the human elder. If I’m not mistaken the elf elder resides in the largest tree in your region.”]
“Why are we here?”
[“Master was out, and Mia felt that this was more merciful than death. You’ll sit here and wait out the war for a century or so and if Mia is still alive, we’ll return your elven figures and free you”]
“And if she’d not?”
[“Then pray the master’s whims don’t involve your deaths for you’re all going to be here a very long time.”]
Adeliza arrived in front of the castle whistling a jovial tune while twirling her halberd around. Kathy and Lili by her side. When the guards tried to stop her she waived the invitation from the king disinterestedly in their faces and kept walking.
Kathy and Lili bowed in apology as they followed after her and the scene repeated itself until they got to the throne room. after which Adeliza and the woman sat on the throne both looked a bit confused.
“Bente?”
She leaned forward, “Hanz?!”
“That was once my name but it’s Adeliza now.”
“Hanz how could you leave me for 19 years to play the harlot with a couple of purple haired wenches.”
“I see the years were neither kind to your face nor your mind.”
“Don’t you start. I gave you the best years of my life and you left me without even a son to inherit the throne.”
“I never asked for nor wanted the best years of your life, you forced yourself on me and had several of my friends executed before just demanding the king decree us be together and I gave up rejecting you. How’s our daughter by the way?” (shit-eating grin evident)
“I don’t know what’s wrong with her but she took five years to learn how to speak and now she has a very strong fascination with forbidden magic and severe torture.”
“Certainly, the makings of a great king.”
“She’s a girl she shouldn’t be cruel she should be cute and lovable. And stop smiling, you were barely a presence in her life and you’re acting like you knew this would happen.”
“Of course, I knew. Your kingdom was doomed to fail the moment you strayed from my design for the kingdom’s kingship. The fact you hid our daughter from me and refused to let her see me despite the fact she hated you so deeply and wanted only to be closer to me fills my heart with joy.”
The two continued arguing indifferent to the little princess who walked into the room dressed in all black with her hair down and a book in her hand. When she looked up her eyes almost lit up. Without saying a word, she sneaked up to Adeliza’s side and gave her a hug.
“Dad, I knew mom lied about everything she said about you.”
“Oh, hello there little Drika. Have you been properly tormenting those you despise?”
“Of course, father.”
“Her name’s Femke!”
The disgruntled mother shouted from the throne.
“You called her Femke after I told you to name her Drika? No wonder she hates you.”
The mother-father pair continued arguing back and forth while Drika buried her face deep in Adeliza’s hug as if she didn’t even care her parents were fighting.
“Femke, stop hugging your father. Nobles aren’t meant to be physically close with anyone who’s touched a commoner.”
“I’ve told you since the day I learned to speak, call me Drika.”
The girl called back. Bente in a fit of anger began mumble screaming incoherently much to the pleasure of the two hugging across from her.
“Ah, I almost forgot, where’s Davie Jr. as much as I enjoy tormenting you, I came to see him turn red.”
“He’s dead father, I killed him.”
“Ha, really. That’s hilarious. What did he do to deserve it.” She asked between fits of laughter trying desperately to hold it in.
“He tried to have me stripped bare in front of all the guards and let them have their way with me only for me to singlehandedly, systematically and methodically put the fear of God into any soldier who even tried to carry out his orders, and then I ripped out his oesophagus and fed it to him.”
“I always love how cruel my descendants become, just don’t become stupid like your ancestor. When you reign let the next king be decided by strength, not by blood. I won’t have this land run by fools or cowards any longer.”
“If that’s what it takes to make father proud and mother mad, I’ll gladly carry out your will.”
