Mei's POV

After listening to Purin-Chan's story. I continue my job in the evening, serving lady Wiela and him.

The dinner goes in silence but, lady Wiela tries to break the silence, flirting with Louis throughout. Even though, Louis does not respond to her.

"Louis, if you have any problems, you can tell me here, I'd like to hear it and see if there any way I can help you."

Lady Wiela once again breaks the silence, she put her utensils down as she spoke.

Louis, on the other hand, keeps eating and not bother to look up at her.

Somehow, I feel that he's not enjoying my food?

Yeah, he seems so tired and weak, nothing alike of his previous self at all.

I regain my focus. I recompose myself.

Lady Wiela is indeed, glaring at me, she seems to be irritated.

She pushes the dish aside and gestures me to clean them. I followed the order but I'm not clean them now, It's not efficient, I'd take them all at once.

Waiting for Louis to finish his dish, I chatting with Purin-Chan and learned that Louis is recently fought with the infamous Khan and almost got his butt kicked.

I was surprised at first but soon don't know why I feel that he deserved it.

"Louis, if you talk it here, I would be better for both of us."

Lady Wiela asks Louis with some concern in her voice but mostly irritation.

Louis feels slightly annoyed by her, he pushes the chair away from the table and stood up, he gestures me to tale care of the plates and then he leaves the room.

I take the emptied plate.

While doing my job, lady Wiela complained about me instead of Louis who is at fault of this matter.

"Louis doesn't talk to me at all. What are you doing?! Quickly get them clean! Maid this day, just a bunch of inexperience incompetent! How come they are " Honored"? I guess nowadays's standard has been this low? Get yourself out my sight already!"

I have to restrain myself from arguing her. It's not true, everyone was working so hard to even has the chance to become one.

I guess those who born with a golden spoon doesn't understand the hardship.

After that, she left the dining room in frustration.

I'd like to teach her some manner ahem! Fix... her manner. I do not like when people of her status look down on those who aren't on the same standing or higher than hers.

I clean the plates and left the kitchen.

I think I'm going by the girl then take shower and sleep. It's still evening and there is plenty of time left before my bedtime.

I'm not an early person though.

I walk past the same corridor, the place where I always past when doing my duty.

With that, Purin-Chan left. And at the same time, I've arrived at the girls' living quarter.

I knock the door three times. When I heard a faint "Come in." I then open the door and step inside their room.

She keeps pressing me, but I'm not ready to interrogate right now so I found a way out, even though I don't want to use his name for this.

Not only that she is a bit? Unreliable. She also is a big lazy goddess. Right now, myself is the most reliable person.

I look around. I found the stair that leads to the second floor on my left, and on my right is a large door.

Left is deadly but right is the right one.

I walk to the right and stood before the double door that has a tea color shade glass embed on it, making it almost impossible to peek inside. But with my blessing from Purin-Chan, I could see that there is someone in there.

I lean myself in to get a clear look but who knows the door is not properly closed, making it open inward as I lean on to it.

*Thud!*

I fall flat on my face.

I stood up and dust myself.

"So... You came...... At last, I need to *Cough*!"

Louis's voice brought my eyes to locked on him. He coughed his blood as he speaks.

I throw away any my negativity toward him and rush to his side to support him. Base on my moral, I couldn't stand and watch someone in pain, be it enemy or him.

"What is exactly has happened to you!"

I ask him. His blurry green eyes that dilated upon seeing me this close.

He looks at me confusingly. I sigh and answer him.

I support him as we walk out of the dummy lit office.

He tells me where is his room is and I followed his way. We arrive at the room and his room is just one door next to mine..... Convenient?

I have nausea just look at the sight of the bloodied apron.

I walk to my room's door and open it with the right hand. I was greeted by the darkness of the room that dimly lit by the moon's light. Today is also the full moon. The same moon on the sky when I first come to this very world. And the same scenery when I first met this guy.

I place him on my fluffy bed. Scared that the blood will dirty my bed, I created cotton and wipe away the blood off his mouth and my apron. It's left the strain but I'll take care of it later.

The moonlight gently shines on him, revealing his pale complexion and face feature. It's was the first time I paid attention to his face and the first time I see him this close, we're just barely an inch away from each other.

I walk out of the room and go to the kitchen to get the necessary. I take drinking water, warm water, and I brew him a herb to help restore he loses blood back.

I quietly open and close the door. I look at his form in silence.

Poor smugly... You've chosen the wrong opponent.

I thought and laugh in my thought.

I undress his shirt and wipe him clean with warm water. I get the weird feeling whenever I made a contract with his skin, it feels like electricity entered my finger and ran all the way to my face, making my face heat and blush unconsciously.

You are not going to feel it for this guy! I'm better deserved a day off afterward!

I finish cleaning him. Then I change him into a new set of cloth... Puff! Hahaha! He looks so stunningly hilarious! HAHAHA! I changed into one of my pajama...... HAHAHA! Not so tough now! HAHAHA!

Ahem! I've got no choice... I'll change back whenever I see him recovering...

.....D-Did I fall as sleep? I did not remember that I feel dizzy. I just feed him my spare change of medicine that Mrs. Reia gave me.

I move my hand to clasp on their hands. But then, the light Peirce thought the darkness and a green-haired girl with a cat come in my sight.

The lance did Peirce me but I feel no pain or blood leaking out. It just passes through me.

I look at her slowly approaching form, she extends her hand out for me.

The green-hair sighed. She then flicking my forehead and grin.

"Silly girl~! We're here~! They're here with you~!"

"Now~! Wake up and take care of the handsome Louis for me~!"

Then I felt my face being heated. I waved my hand and accidentally take her extended hand.

"Good to go now Cajone~!"

A light blind my vision and I can feel my body again, and there an intense glare on my face too.....

I shot open my eyes and spring my head up to see whoever is staring at me but I hit my head with something with an och!

He finally speaks. I furrow my eyes brow and advert my gaze away from him.

He's already taken off the pajama and now he's only wearing a pair of pant that he uses to wear last night.

"If you already fine then move off my room! I need to take a nap."

He sighed.

"Aren't you have your duty? I bet you forgot that it's already 8:00 AM! Clearly you're late~"

L-Late? Heck no! ฺ Because of you! That why I'm late!

I look around and found he did not rummage into my belonging. Only the herb that I brew last night was emptied. I lift my lip's corner a bit, thinking that he recovering well, maybe a bit too well.

"From a bloodied mess to the old smugly in just one night is surprising!"

He walks toward the door.

"Yeah, I guess that thanks to you but, as a punishment for making fun of your master~ No day off for one mounth~"

With that, he smiles widely and closes a door with lightning speed.

".........Y-You despicable of a master!"

Louis's POV

I still remember her sleeping form, she is light a fairly in a human form, lit by beautiful moonlight, she is unmatched beauty.

Even though, I'm mad at her that she dresses me in her pajama but seeing she cares for me is enough to make those thought vanish.

She truly is capable of performing a miracle, I don't know whether the medicine or the herb she brews for me did help me to recover this fast but, thanks to her, I'm finally back to my own.

"Ang...."

I see her expression slowly shifting from of peaceful one to a trouble one. Perhaps, she having a nightmare.

I stood from her bed and noticed that her room is now completely renovated, even more, luxurious than mine. I couldn't be more surprising than the omelet but this, It's like the story told Itself when staying in this very room. The skies that hold many stars yet far greater than anything I could imagine, and the depth of the mysterious ocean that lies countless mysterious to be solved.

I carry her princess style and place her on her bed. I then cover her in a warm blanket. I guess I should've left now.

Upon reaching the door. I heard her small sob, I immediately turn back and see that she is smiling while crying? What sort of dream are you having? Weird girl, weird dream.

I move back and sit beside her. I careless her hair and swept the hair strain of her face. She seems to be calm down a bit.

"Silly girl, how easily you stole my heart just by looking at you yet you're so hard to obtain."

I smile and later, I fell asleep unconsciously.

Three days have passed, and I'm now fully fit. Maybe over-fit. I start to notice that I could see strangely clear in the dark and my sense are... improved?

I was able to hear the voice of Wiela even though I'm out in the garden, drinking my tea with my favorite subordinate, Elan.
