In fact, he believes it’s better that the prince is a lazy and foolish person, after all a foolish Emperor is easier to control and that way the power of the Nobles would rise up.

On the other hand, the youngest princess was ignored because the fact she’s a woman. She was neglect by her own mother and even her own servants look down on her. While her Uncle pity her and send a teacher for her, he doesn’t care for her much since he believes the princess could just be marry off to the neighboring empire as an alliance. Was the fact that she was neglected by her own mother or the fact that some of her servants ignore her that make her to wish to live a life free from her royal duty of being just a wife of someone in a political marriage.

The saving grace of her is that there are a few people who were loyal to her, one of them being a nanny who was someone who care deeply for her as if she was her real daughter. So, to escape from her fate of being marry off she try and study extremely hard. She was someone who curious about everything whether that being politics or swordsmanship.

Her teacher despite being the Duke people he was someone who was extremely passionate about teaching, so he taught her everything that he could, he passes every knowledge he has toward her and for that reason the princess was able to improve as a person.

The person who the queen treats as just an accessory would later on to become the foundation of the new Empire and later on become the foundation of the new world that her step brother created.
