I was awakened by Valcy shaking me. "Wake up, Gray; we have company," she said.
I opened my eyes groggily and realized it was dark outside.
Upon surveying the surroundings, I was taken aback as many silhouettes encircled us. They were crawling towards us, only illuminated by the moonlight. Their forms resembled large crabs or spiders, each about the size of a dog.
"What are those?" I asked Valcy in shock.
Recalling that the car was equipped with heat vision, I quickly activated it. The ensuing sight confirmed that the silhouettes were, indeed, gigantic crab-like creatures.
"Those are sand crabs; they usually come out at night to scavenge for food. There must be a king crab or a tamer nearby; they usually don't gather in groups," she said, her expression marked by a frown.
"Okay, what should we do? Should we run them over?" I inquired.
"No, I need you to summon a weapon, maybe a longbow and some arrows. Since we're out of gold coins, we can sell their corpses to merchants for some gold coins," she suggested.
It seemed apparent that she intended to eliminate them. While selling their remains in Doon City was a possibility, I doubted that conventional arrowheads from Earth would be effective enough to handle them all.
"I know something better than bows and arrows," I told her, a smirk forming on my face.
And then I muttered, "Summon."
This time, my ethereal form transported me precisely where I intended to be. The surroundings were populated with arms dealers peddling firearms and explosives. It resembled a fish market in Thailand or India, yet instead of fish, the stalls were adorned with an array of neatly arranged weapons. Most of the individuals donned headscarves and tunic robes, exuding the features of Middle Eastern and Asian descent. I surmised that I had found myself in a Middle Eastern country, perhaps Yemen or Iraq.
Upon realizing that my ability involved transporting objects from Earth, I wrestled with ethical quandaries about appropriating others' property. Thus, I resolved to acquire weaponry from those with questionable morals. Such open-air arms markets were often found in war-torn regions where violence and bombings occurred regularly. It occurred to me that depriving these purveyors of death of their weaponry might actually save lives.
Drifting towards a stall featuring a plethora of American and Russian armaments, my eyes glistened with intrigue. "Is that an AR-15?" I marveled. The merchant even showcased an M-16 equipped with a grenade launcher. An assortment of other weapons, including AKs, snipers, rocket launchers, and bombs, were also on display.
Excitement welled within me as I surveyed his impressive collection. "Alright, I'll take the SCAR-L PDW variant for myself," I decided.
"And maybe the As50 semi-automatic antimaterial sniper rifle for Valcy," I pondered.
The moment my hand made contact with the As50; a prompt appeared.

I clicked yes and watched as the weapon disappeared.
The gun dealer, who had been sitting on his chair and leisurely watching shorts on his smartphone, suddenly stood up in shock and bewilderment. He started to look at the place where the gun had been before. He appeared to be shocked by the sudden disappearance of his goods; he even checked under his tables to be sure.
I enjoyed his reaction, and I was not yet done with his goods.

During that time, the gun dealer had fallen on his butt in shock after seeing a gun disappear for the second time. He had gone completely bonkers, yelling and attracting the attention of other vendors. I couldn't understand proper Arabic, but I could make out him screaming "jinn." I recalled that jinn are ghost-like entities in Arabic folklore.
Not wanting to cause more of a scene, I quickly started to manipulate whatever was necessary. I summoned 200 quantities of 50 BMG bullets and 1000 quantities of 5.5 mm bullets from the bullet cans. Both of them cost 20 mana respectively.
After I came back, there were no weapons in my hands like before. I was concerned, so I quickly checked my inventory. Sure enough, the items I brought back from Earth were there. I let out a sigh of relief. For a moment, I thought something might have gone wrong this time.
I informed Valcy, "I brought something cool this time, wanna try it out?"
"What is it?" she asked with a curious gaze.
"See this," I said, bringing out the AS-50 from my inventory. It was quite heavy for me.
When she saw my expression, she inquired with a concerned look, "That looks heavy, are you alright?"
"It's heavy, but I can handle it," I said with a fake smile.
"I'll show you something cool. Watch this," I informed her.
I took out 50 BMG rounds from my inventory and inserted them into the gun. Then, aiming the gun's muzzle out of the car window at the nearest crab about 9 or 10 feet away, I reloaded the weapon and took aim.

Just before I pulled the trigger, I realized I might injure myself from the recoil. I asked Valcy for assistance to help reduce the force by having her hold onto the stock tightly.
Then I pulled the trigger. "Boom." The shockwave was palpable, and we both felt the immense recoil. Valcy might have taken 95% of the force, but the remaining 5% was still noticeable on my shoulder. I could have injured my frail body further if I had taken that force.
"Such force and power. What kind of weapon is this?" Valcy said in amazement, her eyes fixed on the shattered crab carcass from the impact.
As expected of an anti-material rifle, I was amazed by its power too. Seeing it on the internet and trying it out in real life were different experiences.
"Yeah, this is for you," I said to her. Just as I handed over the weapon, a notification caught my eye.
"Do you wish to grant access of your summon AS-50 to Valcy Moon Heart?"
Yes / No
I clicked on "Yes."
After that, I carefully taught her how to operate it, instructing her never to point the barrel towards my direction, as mistakes could happen, and I didn't think friendly fire was off in this world.
Fortunately, Valcy was a fast learner. She even shot accurately on her first try, without using the scope. The weight of the rifle didn't seem to bother her either. The recoil of the shot only caused her hair to flutter; otherwise, she remained as still as a statue. I thought she had the potential to be a top-tier sharpshooter.
Next, I brought out the Scar-L. Mine was much lighter, weighing only 3 kg and with less recoil force.
Once we were prepared, we both climbed onto the roof of the car. The view was better from up there, and we began shooting the unfortunate crabs without restraint. The crabs didn't even have time to run or bury themselves in the sand due to their size.
I was becoming a crab murderer, all in the name of increasing my level faster. Using my summon was the only way to level up.
By the time we were done, the poor sand crabs were no longer moving, just mangled carcasses everywhere. We had shot more than ten of the large crabs. My handiwork made the crabs look more intact compared to Valcy's work; her anti-material rifle had destroyed or half-mutilated the crabs. I was sure she was trying her best to keep the corpses intact, but the weapon wasn't helping her.
"So, which one was the king crab?" I asked. It was hard to tell the difference between the crabs due to the darkness and how mangled they looked.
Maybe the king crab had run away after hearing the gunshots. They could be stronger, faster, and smarter than normal crabs. Or perhaps a tamer was hiding nearby.
Well, I knew one way to find out.
"Whoever you are, if you're hiding nearby, please come out. We're sorry for murdering all your crabs," I shouted at our surroundings.
There was no response.
I shouted again, "We promised we won't hurt you."
After a few seconds, still nobody came out.
"Can you spot any life forms nearby?" I asked Valcy.
"No, I see no auras nearby other than the dying crabs," she said with a confused look on her face.
"So, it was the king crab. Let's check the corpses more carefully. Maybe it's mixed in with the rest," I suggested to her.
After that, we climbed down from the car roof and began carefully inspecting our handiwork with my phone's flashlight.
The carcasses had a tan desert color on their upper shells and blue blood. I had underestimated their size. Up close, they could easily snap my torso with their ridiculous pincers.
For a moment, I was glad to have been born on Earth, where most of the predators were on the brink of extinction.
After a while, we had collected all the intact useful parts, like the large pincers and the carcasses that could be sold to merchants later. I stored all of them inside my inventory. It still felt strange to me that I had an inventory while Valcy, as a fellow blessed person, didn't. My theory was that summoners' class came equipped with an inventory, but it was just a wild guess. I even asked Valcy, and she said she wasn't sure, as she had never met a summoner in real life before. She knew of artifacts with dimension storage capabilities, but those were very rare and expensive. Only high noble elves might be equipped with them.
There were so many mysteries surrounding my transmigration, so adding one more mystery wasn't a big deal for my psyche.
After the crack of dawn, we resumed our journey towards the city. I was confident we would reach our destination before nightfall this time.
On the way, after my summon count reset, I summoned some utilities: three gallons of drinking water, two army water bottles, and energy bars for quick snacks. I also summoned my old clothes that fit me from my wardrobe, as well as a comfortable pair of sneakers. This medieval attire was too uncomfortable for me, so it had to go.
I even summoned mercenary gear for both of us. I brought two black tactical vests, two pairs of knee and elbow guards, two pairs of leather gloves, and black cargo pants for Valcy.
After we changed into our new clothes, I couldn't help but admire Valcy's new look. With the AS-50 strapped to her back, she had transformed from a medieval Valkyrie to a cool modern mercenary woman. I really liked her new appearance better
. She just needed sunglasses to complete the look. I let her try a pair, but she didn't like them because they interfered with her aura vision.
So, I wore the sunglasses instead.
As for myself, I wore a black vest, blue jeans, and a headband with a peace logo. Just in case of close combat, I summoned a katana, kukri knives, and a 1911 pistol. I wasn't skilled with the katana and kukri knives, so I gave them to Valcy. She was astonished to see such refined blades, and she loved them.
For now, I was hoping that this Equipements will suffice before we acquire any new mana powered artifacts.
Once we were strapped, I felt more confident about traveling to the Doon Kingdom. The road was sandy but straight, so I had no issue pushing the speed to 80 mph in the desert.
After traveling another 50 miles, we saw the Doon City. It was just about 1 mile away from our current location. To avoid attracting too much attention, I stored the car in my inventory and we walked towards the city gate on foot.
As we neared the gate, I noticed a line of people with camels and donkey-like animals pulling carts, all waiting to enter the gates. They looked like merchants and refugees. We joined the line, approaching the city gates.
It seemed they were collecting toll fees for entering the city. I wondered what we could offer for barter since we didn't have any money. Perhaps we could give them the crab corpses.
After what felt like 10 minutes of waiting in line behind the odorous animals, it was finally our turn. The guard, dressed in a medieval helmet and chain mail armor, asked us to state our names and purpose.
"My name is Gray La Aster from the Aster Kingdom, and she is my bodyguard, Valcy. We've come here to visit and trade," I informed the guard.
He seemed intimidated by Valcy's tall stature. After sizing us up, he said, "Okay, you may enter. The toll fees will be 10-copper coins for both of you."
"Sorry, we don't have any coins right now, but we wish to barter with this," I apologized and said, handing him the large crab pincers we had carried as tokens.
The guard examined the pincers for a moment. "Are you sure you want to barter them for the entrance fees? These could easily fetch you a single silver coin each, which is ten times the price," he said, baffled.
"You can think of this as a token of appreciation for your hard work. We really don't have any coins right now, so we can only be generous with our payment," I explained with a smile.
After a brief contemplation, the guard nodded, accepted the pincers, and thanked me. He said they were considered a delicacy and a very rare find, so he would share them with his crewmates. He also mentioned a merchant who might buy the rest of the crab corpses from us.
Entering through the gates, the streets were alive with vendors selling their unique wares. Near the gates, people lived in tents, but as we moved closer to the center of the town, I saw more buildings made from limestone.
"Let's try to sell some crabs. We might need coins for emergencies," I suggested to Valcy.
So, we quickly searched for an empty alley and transferred some of the crab corpses into a large bag. The bags weighed about 40 kg and 10 kg respectively. Valcy handled the larger bag, and I carried the smaller one, as I was weaker.
This was only about half of the crab corpses I had in my inventory.
After what felt like 10 minutes of navigating the bustling bazaar, we finally found the merchant the guard had told us about. He had a bald head and a butcher knife, and his stall displayed various types of red meat, including some dry-aged selections.
The smell was unpleasant, but we endured it. "Good sir, we're looking to sell some fresh crab corpses. Would you be interested?" I asked politely.
He stopped his butchering work and looked at us curiously. "Is that so? Do you mind if I inspect them first?" he inquired.
"Of course not. Please, take a look," I replied, handing him the bag we were carrying.
After examining the corpses for a while, he exclaimed, "Wow, these are indeed fresh. Did you kill them just a few hours ago? And how did you find so many sand crabs?"
"Yeah, on our way to the city, we stumbled upon them gathering for some reason, so we were lucky," I said with a smile.
I only told him part of the truth, and he didn't seem to mind the missing details.
He quickly separated the legs and pincers from the rest of the bodies, as they had higher value. Then, he weighed them. The legs and pincers weighed 40 pounds, while the rest of the bodies weighed 60 pounds. He offered us six gold coins for the crabs, which seemed like a good deal. So, we divided the coins equally between us.
We could exchange one gold coin for ten silver coins, and one silver coin equaled 100 copper coins. Twenty copper coins could secure us a night's stay in an inn with both breakfast and dinner. This meant we could stay in this medieval desert city for 300 days without needing to work.
As the day drew to a close, we quickened our search for an inn to spend the night. Our eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for a suitable spot to lay down. Not far from our location, we came across an inn nestled in the town's more prosperous district. With a desire for a place to rest, we headed toward it.
Upon reaching the inn, we were met with the sight of a well-maintained establishment, its architecture showcasing opulence.
"Greetings guests welcome to Etaj royal hotel" The innkeeper in formal uniform greeted us warmly and provided details about the accommodation rates.
To our astonishment, the price was a substantial 1 silver piece per night's stay. This amount was triple the cost of other inns nearby, revealing that only those with significant means could afford such a luxury.
Despite the higher expense, we deliberated our choices and chose to proceed. The allure of a comfortable night's sleep and the potential for added amenities proved too irresistible to ignore.
The room had two beds and was equipped with a small pool for bathing and a toilet. I was surprised to find that the water was crystal clear, supplied by a rare and expensive water orb found exclusively inside sea monsters.
Swiftly, I summoned a bar of soap and other amenities like a toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Even though people rinsed their mouths in the morning or before sleeping, the concept of toothbrushing didn't exist. Even the nobles favored mouth fresheners, potions crafted by alchemists. Strangely, people in this place didn't suffer from cavities; perhaps it was due to their diet.
I even taught valcy how to used, the toothbrush.
I was kind of curious about what Valcy wore for under garments, and I had a gut feeling that she will need them.
Because of my ability, clothing was not a concern. I conjured female undergarments for Valcy. When I handed her the undergarments, her face turned bright red. "Thank you," she said with a hint of embarrassment, "I really needed those."
She blushed like a young girl, although determining her age was tricky due to the extended lifespan of elves. Even a 60-year-old elf can resemble a 16-year-old. However, considering her advanced tier in magic archery, my estimate put her at least in her thirties, unless she was a prodigy who attained that level in her twenties.
The awkward part came when she realized she didn't know how to put on a modern bra, finding it too complex. So, I had to demonstrate on myself.
I reminded myself to summon a sports bra for her next time.
after she was done changing in the bathroom, she let me in, my eyes were immediately glued to her body, I had never seen such perfect body in my two lives,
with such lingerie she was easily 10 out of 10, she got that sinful super model body, and extra fantasy charm of being an elf, for a moment my dark side almost awakened.
to hide my growing erection, I Swiftly undressed and stepped into the pool, wearing only boxers.
Thanks to the chill water, I abruptly came back to my senses, I realized that my body had a remarkable healing ability, and any minor bruises were almost completely gone.
Once we were finished, the fragrance of lavender clung to us, a result of the soap we used during the refreshing bath. Following the invigorating soak, we enjoyed a hearty dinner at the Inn. The food tasted delightful, with unique flavors that I had never experienced before. I had always been fond of trying new cuisines, even back on Earth. Finally, after our satisfying meal, we both fell into a deep and restful sleep.
I had truly missed the sensation of sleeping in a comfortable bed.
