Prologue: Reincarnation

I, Suzuko Haruka, died.

Wait, no no no, that is a dumb way to introduce myself!

I thought of such things as I floated through a black void.

Should my introduction involve something more dramatic?  Maybe how I died?  Ahg, but....I cant think of how to make that interesting...erm...where would I even start at?  I, Suzuko Haruka, was walking home from....no, now it just seems annoyingly wordy...uhg...I know the Truck is common place, but...I cant figure out how to build up to it when I am just a normal otaku (nerd)!

I floated around in this dark space, trying to figure it out.  While I was worrying about such pointless things, I felt some sort of light ahead.

To put it simply, I was a normal high school girl who loved animes, mangas, light novels, web novels, all of it.  I was also pretty good looking, but I never got into romance.  All the guys who approached me were annoying muscular muscleheads who thought muscles would attract me. 

Apparently this made other girls jealous, jealous enough after the three dozenth time for someone to push me out in front of a truck while stopped at a crosswalk!  How mean!

Besides, muscles are lame, and not cute!  Cuteness is where it was at!  If only a short, cute boy would have approached me!  Or maybe a short cute girl as a partner, or at least as a friend?

"Request Acknowledged" a weird voice said as I floated in this black space.  This startled me, I had only been here alone and silent this whole time, but was there someone listening in?

"Wait wait!  Can I also get all of the epicness from my treasured collection?!  All my anime, manga, novels...can I get updates too?  Can you grant those requests?!" I pleaded.

"Request Acknowledged" it said again.  I sighed with relief, but then it spoke up again.  "Alert.  An issue with the amount of the 'Request' detected.  Prioritizing most powerful and vital components".

Although I didn't quite get what it meant, or what its limits were....I found myself drifting into the light and losing consciousness.

Eventually, my eyes began to open as awareness washed over me.  I seemed to be lying in some sort of bed...some sort of really nice, comfortable bed.  Normally, this might be the time where I, if I was a main character, would say something like "An unfamiliar ceiling".

But, I was not sleeping on my back.  I was sleeping on my belly, my arms coiled around a pillow as my legs were spread out.  I could roughly feel that, however...I also felt...smaller...

First off, I could tell right now I was not sleeping in a hospital bed.  This bed was nice, luxurious.  I could tell because sometimes...okay, most of the time, I fell asleep in my chair, or on the floor, or such places.  Secondly, as I moved my head around, the room was larger then my previous room.  At least twice as big.  Also, my bed was the size where it could fit ten of me.

The next thing I realized was that things were not as big as I first thought...but rather, I got smaller!  I am a child again!  I also for some reason was sleeping completely naked, but that, along with a certain feeling, made me realize something else.

As I got on my hands and knees, I looked down at my body...and I had something that I, as a female, or former female, should not have.  Yes, it seemed I had become a boy!

Now that I thought about it, that voice did say Request Acknowledged after I mentioned cute, short boy...did is misinterpret my words?  Not that I minded, as from what I could see, I was outragously cute!  Being a boy seemed weird for sure, but...I was cute!

Seeing a large mirror in my room, I jumped out of bed and ran over to it.  However...I was only further shocked!

"Are those...animal ears?!  And a tail?!"

As I looked at myself and turned around in front of a mirror over five times my size, I saw dog like ears on my head, and a dog like tail coming out from my rear.  I was a cute Beastkin animal boy?!

It was practically everything I ever dreamed of.  Becoming a boy seemed a bit weird though, but everything else made me perfectly okay with that!

That said, I ended up moving around so much, I got dizzy and fell over.  It seemed that this time, I made a loud enough thud, because I heard shuffling in the next room over, as well as panicked voices.  Suddenly I heard two people run over from the other room, and slam my door open.

"Prince Zyr!  Are you okay?!"

And so, as a young boy dressed like a butler and a young girl dressed like a maid came running in, I recieved the biggest shock of them all.

Rather...Prince?!?!?!
