Time flies quickly. I've been here for almost five days.
My current residence is Sapphire Palace, a modest palace located far from the main palace, which is the Santasos royal castle, Emerald Palace. Despite being excommunicated, this small palace remains in close proximity to the royal palace area.
I obtained this information from Yulia Austern. However, I prefer to call her Yulia. Yulia appears to be an excellent choice for both a close companion and a princess attendant based on my observations.
There are several regulations that I have to obey when I am in this palace. First of all, I cannot simply enter the Emerald Palace without informing anyone. Perhaps this is because I am not the king and queen's favored child. That is why I do not receive top-notch attention as a king's daughter.
Hmm, they also do not come to see me when I am sick.
However, I am still grateful that I currently have a place to stay, thanks to Princess Irene's mother—I mean, thanks to my mother, the queen. Fortunately, Her Majesty provided me with a place to stay, nevertheless not as gorgeous and wonderful as the Emerald Palace.
The second rule states that because I do not receive much attention from the king and queen, I am strictly forbidden from meeting them.
I'm not sure why. The novel {The Tragedy of Winter Coldheart} mentions this issue, however its writer does not give an explanation.
Perhaps because I am not the king's daughter? Or in what way? I don't know.
Finally, the most important rule: I must sit quietly and nicely here. I couldn't go anywhere and was prohibited from leaving the Sapphire Palace. In other words, be a quiet child who listens. So that others don't know about my whereabouts...

Hmm, so cruel~
If I were Princess Irene Sophia de Grande Santasos, I might have followed all of those regulations by now. Indeed, Princess Irene is a decent and obedient lady.
However, since I am already in this body, I might break that rule. Well, if I don't change it now, I might die in the future. So, mainly because I'm bound within Princess Irene's body, I must prevent her death.
Although I am an ordinary adult, I have an extensive amount of knowledge and abilities that I would like to use in order to survive as Princess Irene.
"Yes, that's right." I gripped both hands.
Fortunately, my body healed after a few days of lying down and resting. This is all because to Yulia, who treated me carefully and helped my body recover swiftly. The bandage on my head has been removed, and my head and body are no longer in pain.
While resting in the room, I, too, was able to adapt to this reality, albeit in a haphazard manner.
I glanced around and walked out the bedroom's door.
Yulia apologised to me for today's busy schedule due to a royal ceremony. Oh, absolutely. Princess Liliana Sera de Grande Santasos, the Queen Casella's eldest daughter, is celebrating her tenth birthday. Princess Liliana is also my sister, as I, Princess Irene Sophia, am the second child. Unfortunately, I was not invited to the event.
* Gulps. *
I hope no one is around here.
After I finished, I checked to make sure no one was nearby. I cautiously moved around, searching for a way out of Sapphire's Palace.
Well... Just do what you want; I'd like to see the ceremony too.
The instinct in my heart whispered slowly.
Maybe it's because I've been sitting in the room for a long time, and I'm also from another world, nonetheless I'm feeling lonely and isolated right now.
It's just... I also wanted to observe how the anniversary event went, how everyone's expressions looked, and what the magnificent Emerald's Palace was seemed like.
It was already nighttime. I was crawling and made it out of the Sapphire Palace thanks to my speed and agility with this small physique.
* Phew...*
As I sighed alone, I heard a voice. I was quickly concealed myself behind the wall, watching and listening to them.
Two criminals dressed in black, masks on their faces, were seen wielding sharp knives and daggers.
"Cyrus, is it right here? They told us to kill the poor princess, didn't they?"
"Yes, that is correct, idiot! This is where 'she' belongs."
"Shhh— I heard something."
They both looked around cautiously. They were immediately hid the blades and daggers in one of their pants pockets.
