Part 1

“Attack the damned beast right now!”

“Yes sir!”

A whole squad of Grazia rushed forward and into the ‘beast’. It has been multiple years since the first awakening of them.

But the humans had discovered the technology of the boy who released the beast himself. The technology uses the psionic capability of a human and fused it together with the weapon. But those with those powers can only use the weapon if they have enough psionic powers to change something in the real world. Which means it limits to the people who awakened the new power since birth. And the weapons will do as the master wishes. Each ‘weapon’ is like a suit that will be put on the girl or boy. Then it can utilise the psionic ability of its own master.

This weapon, however, can evolve by itself. It can become stronger and undergo ‘evolution’ through means of combat.

Scientists can’t discover why or how, but theorised that it will evolve according to its owner, the stronger the owner, the more the weapon evolves. Since the weapon absorb the psi power of the owner, it can also evolve according to it. The stronger, the better.

“Destroy the class B immediately. We don’t want it to spread further damage to china!!!”

The Grazia attacked the cyclops, they raised out their plasma swords and sliced it apart. The operation was in China, the attacked the country by coming through the pacific sea. And China asked EU and ASEAN for help. Japan send in reinforcements to destroy the beasts, and Thailand send theirs.

The most precedent one, however, would be European Union’s. Their battle capability is truly top class, and they are still young! It had been 8 years since the disaster, and at most, the warriors of light will be 18. They were trained in a special institute around the world, but the most prominent one would be in the European Union’s country. Or more precisely, in England.

“Report! There is damage on the main mothership, a class A+ cyclops had destroyed it, we need immediate reinforcements!”

The were creatures with a strange body, they have muscles and strange organ parts that spits out numerous dangerous substance. Some looked like lobsters while others are the size of a normal lion but had enough strength to break down a building. They were truly creatures that can’t be explained through biology alone. A nuke could kill it, but Humanity doesn’t have that much, and the long-term effect would be too drastic. So instead they used the to kill it.

“Deploying ”

A certain girl shouted out, she was readying a strong weapon that humanity can ever use. The had the strongest defence in the world. But the charging speed is slow, and you need 5 other Grazia to help.

Well, that is, unless you have a super good team with you to help you when you deploy the weapon. The war hammer requires the power of the same gender, since they all think similarly than the opposite gender, making it easier for them to cooperate. Well, some special ones doesn’t do that though.

The shot out numerous weapons at the enemy, but they all weren’t enough to fight against the class A+ cyclops. This class needs a special squad of Grazia in order to kill in the first place.

“War hammer deploying… in 10 seconds”

“Alicia, hurry up! I can’t hold this one for too long, we need immediate help now!!”

“5…”

“Tch! The cyclops will kill us if this goes on!”

“1…”

The huge cannon of each Grazia weapon connected together, they formed into one big cannon. The cyclops was now trying to destroy it, but it was already far too late. The weapon finished loading and shot a laser beam at the cyclops, incinerating it completely.

“GAHHHHH!!!!” The cyclops shouted out its last battle cry, before getting killed b a class 5 laser.

“Target destroyed, I repeat target destroyed!” Christina reported with excitement. They were in joy of having killed a class A+ cyclops. 

“Good job, the mothership is moving into the city of Beijing. We shall soon eradicate all the invading monsters!”

“Roger!”

The woman elite team continued into the city. Killing low-class cyclops along the way.

“The mothership is sensing a huge thermal activity inside that tower, according to data, its a , destroy it before it can reproduce anymore of those annoying cyclops!”

“Yes sir!” The elite woman team was joined by a man team as they dove down and landed in front of the building. The building was filled the cyclops.

“We are currently confronting a multiple class B cyclops, we need reinforcement from the mothership! Requesting Purifier beam”

“Access granted! launching the purifier beam on the building in 30 seconds, please move out of the purifier’s area of effect immediately!”

“Yosh!”

The team of Grazia moved out of the way. The mothership is similarly made with the Grazia technology. But it is more of a vessel that needs to be protected and will launch a huge attack with necessary time. It is like a support for the frontlines.

“Purifier launching!”

VROMMMMM

A huge ray of light was shot down from the mothership’s core. It completely destroyed the whole building with immense temperature. The thermal screen was filled with red lights from the heat.

The building is destroyed, all life signs are- wait, I'm detecting something moving. This thermal activity is... Human?”

The man riding on the mothership is shocked at the sudden revelation. The human signature was normal. Too normal, how could he survive the sudden increase in temperature, no, how did he get in the first place?

"Well, maybe its a new kind of Cyclops. How should we kill it?”

"Wait, its coming of the building, Alicia, prepare for combat!”

The figure exited the building easily, it was a figure of a boy around Alicia's age. He had a striking white hair and red eyes. And he wore a normal T-shirt with jeans, but that's all he's got.

"Stranger, identify yourself." Christina used her battle suit's sound amplifier to ask the boy his name. Somehow, he looks very similar to someone.

"Christina, I think we've seen this guy before..." Selendis, the main vanguard of the squad, searched her memories to find out who exactly this man is, but can't seem to remember.

"Do I know you, stranger?”

"Who are you girls?" Instead, the boy asked out in concern. He had been in a frozen state for 8 years, and he can't relay where he last was to here. 

And the moment he woke up, multiple girls were surrounding him. Well, there were boys too, just that the girls were nearer to him.

"We are the , have you never heard of this name before?”

“No?"

(Memory loss?) Alice had a feeling on the bottom of her stomach that this man NEEDS to be killed no matter what.

"Report from mother ship, we shall evacuate this man away for future questionings.”

"Roger, hey stranger, come with us to the defense institute of China, things should clear up if we brought you there.

"Can I not go?”

"Do not question us, we are the or . And our job is to obey the order from above and kill off all villain from our world. And you normal humans without the blessing of god need to obey us if you want to survive." Christina explained.

A Cyclops burst through the ground and charged towards the boy, it was a class B, but its prey was just a plain human, and that was more than enough for it to easily slay the organism.

"Woah, so the 'Rift' really bring forth destruction, huh." The boy's eyes were filled with guilt and sorrow. The look of a man who had a burden so large that he wants to kill himself.

"You should move away while we-“

Selendis saw an unbelievable sight, the boy her age ran towards the Cyclops.

"Wait, what are you doing!?”

Then, she saw a blade rise out of the boy's hand. Yes, it was the Grazia's weapon, the plasma blade. But to easily call it forth without using the battle suit's help is just plain unbelievable, just how much mental calculation would it take?

"Damn that 'Hope', changing my brain to work this quick..." The boy muttered out as he casually sliced the Cyclops with ease.

The boy walked back to the squad group. He looked at their suits and decided to ask some questions.

"So, what are those suits for? You have your own esper power, so that should be unnecessary, right? Wait, I get it. It helps your brain calculate all the information to utilize your power huh. Wow, how much science has grown!" The boy spoke out excitedly observing the battle suit.            

"How did you do that?" Alicia was shocked at the sudden event, but the boy ignored her and walked on to Christina.

"Okey, bring me to your mother ship. Please?”

"Ok, hey! Our rush operation is over. Everybody fall back!”

Christina princess carried the boy up to the and the boy was loaded of into the mother ship.

The insides of the mother ship was pure beauty. It was decorated with ornaments and paintings. The boy walked through the ship, observing the ship.

"It's beautiful, huh? The technology of Grazia is truly amazing." Selendis, a girl who seemed to see Mark from a documentary before, explained the mother ship to him.

"There are a total of four drives here, each propelling the ship using magnetic fields. The ship is powered by the friction on the outside of the ship, so no environmental damage is dealt to nature.

"Woah, why are we building this?”

"We need immense fire power in certain places to quickly eradicate the Cyclops or the Drags. And support to refuel or reload weapons or take a rest.”

"Drags? Cyclops?”

"You really don't know anything, do you? The beast that you killed just now is a kind of species that suddenly appeared 8 years ago. They destroyed many human civilizations and killed many good people. But yet, we humans have been granted an alien tech from nowhere. It gave us hope to fight back. And espers like us started to appear around the world. We are putted in academies all around the world, and fought back. We have now created a border to defend against those ‘things'."

"So that is what happened, huh. Does people still die even now?”

"Yes, but better than before. In the first attack, many got killed, I was lucky my parents aren't. But Alice, she well..." Christina bore a sad face and goes silent.

The man/boy's eyes turned down. He knew who was the one responsible for all this disaster. It was all because the responsible one was selfish and stopped World War 3 his own way. There may be other ways to stop them. But he chose the way that would be the fastest and got the least people killed.

No one will know the truth, but the way the monsters are spawned. The world was saved in more than one way.

If World War 3 was allowed to start, the nuclear war would affect more than the people. If even some of them blows up in the atmosphere, the damage will be wide spread and possibly, all the human races will need to live only in bunkers because the atmosphere has been destroyed. And even if that doesn't happen, nuclear will render places uninhabitable for many decades, maybe centuries.

"Well, I'm sorry for your loss. By the way, my name is Ben.”

"Having that name isn't nice y'know. The name is the name if the man who was suspected to be the one who summoned the monsters in the first place.”

"Oh... Is the Ben guy hated?”

"Many people throw their hate at something clear. And the government s the blame on the man himself for this catastrophe.”

"Which leads to the quick unification of the people. When humans had something to put the blame on to. They will join hands faster than before, right?" Ben said out unexpectedly.

"What do you mean?”

"Well, before the great war started. WWIII is brewing, but with the appearance of a clear enemy, we can easily unite whip pouring all the hate on the one who was suspected to be responsible.”

"...Now that you say it, that is partly true. Wait, how did you know all this?”

"Well, because I am-“

"Emergency all aboard, please secure the man we have just rescued. We need him in the prison chamber IMMEDIATELY!" The captain spoke out with anger from the radio. Christina was surprised by the sudden order. But decided to do her job anyways.

"Well, looks like they found out sooner than I thought..." Ben casually lend his hand and it was immediately cuffed up.

Part 2

"Now tell me, who are you?”

"My name is Ben, a student. I am creates by the man responsible for creating those monsters. He is already dead, by the way. He used his life as a sacrifice for creating Cyclops and give the technology needed for you humans to fight back.”

“What!"

"Just like I told you, the face of my master 8 years ago should be enough for you to see the resemblance, right? I just look like him due to he putting his DNA into my clone body. I got all the personalities and all his memories too. By the way I am still human.”

"But why would he-“

"How old are you captain?”

"65 years old, but my bones are still more than enough to kill you.”

"Well, you should know what would have happened if my master hadn't done that right?”

“…Yes"

"Well, you know his reasons already. He sent me because he wanted an insurance to destroy those monsters too.”

"You, are you really a clone? Your words seem so …human.

"I am a human, just that I am created artificially that is all. I have the personality needed and all of me IS human.”

"Well, if you insist. You really look similar to the boy who released those monsters.”

“It depends on your rail of thinking, I have some of his memories, but his personality and mine is 100% same. That is all I will say.

And so started the day of the man who was a clone of the man who the world truly hates.
