I leave the inn and walked into the street. I was really surprised that this town was really peaceful. I passed into some people, and many of them were cheerful, and I also passed some group of kids was playing together.

While I was walking to go to the library, I saw a girl surrounded by a group of 3 guys, and the girl was like the same age as me. Her hair was blonde gold. Her eyes were green, like an emerald, and she was wearing a white dress. She also has a necklace which also green like an emerald, and it was shining from my perspective. Judging from her expression, she has terrified and scared on her face.

I can see why she was surrounded just like that. Judging from her appearance, she was from a noble family. The man surrounding her probably thought that they might get some bounty from her. Or did they...?

“Fufufu... If you don’t want to get hurt, come with us little brat! Let’s have some fun! Fu!”

As he said that, the two man from his sides laughed. Judging from their faces, and their words, they seemed to be a perv.

I ignored them, and a sudden attack from their daggers is approaching my body, and it is the guy from the left side, but luckily I avoided his attack. My left hand was equipped by the girl’s arm, and I suddenly release her arm and pushed her away from me. She suddenly makes a shocked expression as I pushed her from my side.

He’s still trying to hit me with his dagger, but his attack was all useless because I avoided all of it. I take an offense move as I grab his arm using my left hand, and preventing him from attacking.

“Physical Buff”

I quickly chant a spell, that only I, can hear it. I knew this spell because of the knowledge about the magic that the goddess gave me. The effect of this spell is basically making the caster physically strong for five minutes.

As I chant the spell, my body becomes light, and I feel like I can carry many heavy things. I quickly pulled his arm and punched him on the face using my clenched right fist. Because of the spell Physical Buff, he was down unconscious. I can sense the people from my surroundings gazing at us, but I just ignored them. The two men have shocked expression, but they simply charged at me again one by one, and I used the same technique I used with that unconscious guy. In the end, they were all down, and unconscious.

I continued to walk, and I suddenly saw a sign there, and it said ‘Library’. I enter the ‘Library’ and saw many bookshelves. I can see that people really don’t come here often. This was a public Library, and I need to pay for me to come in and read some books. I saw a girl seating, and in front of her is a desk, and it was the caretaker of this Library. I approached her, and I scanned my card. It deducted me ‘150 Points’, and to be honest, it was cheap.

I turned around, and I saw some signs in every bookshelf, and one of them is called ‘Magic’, I approached that bookshelves and saw many books. I picked one of the books and opened it.

Introduction to Magic.

Introduction, huh? Well, I need that. This book is really old, though. I flip another page and I read it.

There are seven types of Magic. ‘Fire’, ‘Wind’, ‘Water’, ‘Ice’, ‘Land’, ‘Lightning’, and ‘Miscellaneous’, and this is called ‘aptitude’. Most people have one aptitude, but there are people too that have two to five aptitudes.

I believe I have used a Miscellaneous spell earlier. It said that people with Miscellaneous aptitude is really rare. There are only five people in the past that have Miscellaneous aptitude. It also said that you can test your aptitudes by trying to chant any of it, one by one.

This library has a Miscellaneous spell list book, and I thought it was convenient because I have a Miscellaneous aptitude. I read that book, and I saw many spells, that seemed to be useful.

Model, I found this spell to be useful because it has many uses. I can turn any objects into anything I thought. For example, I am holding a wood, and I thought of a wooden sword. After I cast Model, the wood will turn into a wooden sword.

Automation, this spell is like programming a game. If you meet the condition, then a certain spell will cast. For example, I chant the spell Automation, and I imagine my condition, and the spell into my thoughts, now, when I say ‘Fan on’ it will cast Wind: Cool Blow, and when I say ‘Fan off’ the spell will cancel.

Repair, it will repair any broken objects, but it cannot repair any critically damaged objects.

I thought I learn enough, so I left the library. As I left the library, the sun is going down and I went to the inn that I am staying at. I thought that tomorrow I’ll begin adventuring, so I took a nap early.
