Blazing Days Sect, Dongu Village, Gunghua Province
Junior Edina stirred in her bed as the first rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains. The warmth of the sunlight blended with the gentle breeze coming from Hin Lake, creating a serene and calming atmosphere. She stretched languidly, feeling the softness of the silk sheets against her skin.
Junior Edina rose and walked to the window, pushing the delicate paper screen aside. The view of Hin Lake was breathtaking. The water shimmered under the golden light of dawn, and the surrounding greenery was lush and vibrant. Birds chirped melodiously, adding to the tranquility of the scene.
She took a deep breath, inhaling the fresh air mixed with the scent of blooming flowers. The lake, with its calm surface and the occasional ripple caused by a passing fish, seemed like a symbol of the peace she sought to bring to the region.
Lian Hua, her maid, arrived and greeted her cheerfully. “Ah, you’re awake, young mistress Edina. The fishermen are ready, and Her Highness is waiting for you. I’ve prepared the bath so you can get ready.”
Junior Edina nodded and headed to her bath.
Hin Lake Beach,
Later, at the beach of Hin Lake, Princess Huangshu stood elegantly in a blue hanfu adorned with intricate patterns. She observed the fishing boats preparing to sail into the lake. By her side was Jinhai, her bodyguard, who looked out over the water, and Khang Choi, the sect leader of Blazing Days Sect, who wore a troubled smile.
Junior Edina approached with the help of her trusty cane and Lian Hua’s support. Princess Huangshu noticed her arrival and smiled warmly. “So you’re finally here, Edina! I’ve been waiting for you!”
Princess Huangshu signed with her eyes for Lian Hua to release Edina’s hand, and as she did, Princess Huangshu immediately took Edina’s hand to support her.
“Sorry, I was sleeping so soundly,” Junior Edina said, her voice apologetic.
“No worries,” Princess Huangshu replied. She glanced at the lake and continued, “Will this really work? We’re talking about extracting Black Red Steel, one of the rarest metals, from deep inside a lake.”
Junior Edina just smiled and nodded, she didn’t know if this would work or not, afterall! This was Senior Edina's instructions on how to extract the ore from the lake bed. So she just has to believe her.

The fishermen began their sail into the lake, each boat was boarded by martial artist of the Blazing Days Sect, they weren’t high rank, Just half step masters and some barely grade 1, as the fishing boats entered into the lake waters. They threw in some large iron claw shaped cages, which had rudimentary made copper coils attached to them.
They had a chain made of metal connecting them as the cage sank into the depths of the lake; they waited till the cage landed on the lake bed.
Junior Edina, Maid Lian Hua, Bodyguard Jinhai, Sect Leader Khang, Princess Huangshu, the elders of the Blazing Days Sect, and several blacksmiths stood by the shore, the air thick with anticipation and curiosity. The gentle breeze from Hin Lake carried the scent of blooming lotus flowers, mingling with the earthy aroma of the surrounding forest. The lake, shimmering under the early morning sun, seemed to hold secrets deep within its waters, secrets that were about to be unveiled.
Junior Edina, supported by Princess Huangshu and her cane, glanced at the boats with a mixture of doubt and hope. She trusted Senior Edina's wisdom but couldn't help feeling a flutter of anxiety in her stomach. The method they were about to witness seemed almost too good to be true.
As the boats came to a halt, the fishermen signaled to the martial artist onboard that the cage had reached the lake bed. The martial artist, dressed in simple yet functional garb, nodded solemnly. He grasped the heavy chain in his hands, his muscles tensing as he began to channel his qi. The energy flowed from his body into the chain, illuminating it with a faint, ethereal glow. The qi traveled down the chain into the iron cage submerged in the lake, then spread into the copper coils within the cage.
The martial artist felt a peculiar sensation as the claw cage began to attract small metallic fragments. It was as if the lake bed itself was responding to his qi, revealing hidden treasures buried beneath layers of sediment. He maintained his focus, ensuring the flow of qi remained steady and strong.
Minutes passed, the tension on the shore palpable. The group watched with bated breath, the only sounds being the gentle lapping of water against the boats and the occasional chirping of birds. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the fishermen began to lift the cage. The effort was evident as they strained against the weight, the chain groaning under the load. Metallic clinks and clatters echoed from the depths as the cage ascended.
After another twenty minutes of laborious pulling, the cage finally broke the surface of the water, glistening with droplets in the morning light. The fishermen heaved it onto the boat, their faces flushed with exertion and excitement. They rowed back to the beach with a sense of urgency and triumph.
On the beach, Jinhai, Sect Leader Khang, and the blacksmiths rushed forward to inspect the cage's contents. Princess Huangshu, with an air of regal grace, helped Junior Edina move closer, the soft sand crunching under their feet.
As they approached, the contents of the cage came into view. Jinhai’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Your Highness! Your Highness! This is insane!!” he exclaimed. The blacksmiths, equally astonished, crowded around the cage, their hands trembling with excitement as they examined a large rock with distinctive red and black patterns.
“Your Highness! It’s truly Black Red Steel ore!” Sect Leader Khang said, his voice tinged with awe. “We mined it without even having to invest huge amounts of labor or money!”
Jinhai, still in shock, added, “This is totally insane! I remember having to pay 30 gold taels to have my Black Red Steel sword made!”
Everyone, including Princess Huangshu and Junior Edina, stood in stunned silence. The ease with which they had extracted one of the rarest metals was mind-boggling. The iron cage, through some mysterious process, had attracted the ore as effortlessly as if it were catching fish.
Princess Huangshu turned to Junior Edina, her eyes wide with amazement. “Edina, this method is revolutionary! How did you come up with this?”
