Chapter 8 - Venture into the Radiated Past

{[The word ‘meek’ comes from the old Norse word mjukr, meaning 'gentle, controlled strength.' The meek will inherit the world. It is not through weakness or raw violence but through the means to fight for what's right and protect those who can't protect themselves.]}

Risa held Ashner tightly, somehow melting the ice inside his mind and heart. Sparks of warmth only a woman can provide. Ashner fought back his urge to cry. Deep down, he rationalized himself as a loser. Did he seriously want to cry over a single hug?

He pushed Risa away. "Stop it." She jerked back and then forward, squeezing him tighter.

“Ashner.” She clung to him. “You told me I can always say no to your orders.”

Her breaths were erratic, and her body shook. Even if she was a trained and skilled warrior, she was still tiny and soft. Ashner debated how someone like her survived in this world. But something else came to him.

This isn’t just a hug to comfort me…

Ashner wrapped his arms around her and brought her head under his chin. He had a terrible beard. It was in patches due to the acid, and it rubbed against her forehead. "Fine, do whatever you want."

Risa clung tighter.

The sun rose higher on the horizon, bringing more colors to the world. Eventually, Risa pushed away, still clinging to his arms. Her catlike eyes and cheeks were red.

The hug lasted longer than Ashner expected and less than he wanted.

The group found themselves walking back towards the elves' home, passing by the abandoned seaside towns. Ashner had identified several neglected settlements. But not once had he caught someone living out here.

“Why is your world filled with forgotten homes?” Ashner asked.

“It wasn't always that way." Luna replied, "Three hundred years ago. Several demi races united and they started viewing mankind as an inferior race, sure, they had the ability to use all types of magic, but compared to the strength and natural talents of demi's, they didn't stand a chance when they were weeded out and forced into slavery."

Luna sighed, recalling a world long forgotten. "Slave crests did not exist in that era. A human who didn't obey was beaten, sometimes near death. The capability for cruelty was boundless… It was no different than how things are now… Except our side held the whip… Eventually, humanity created a spell to bind a soul to them and created the first slave seal. Even as frail and weak as they were. They fought back, overpowering demi's and forcing the whip out of their hands. The air was bitter with the aroma of blood for years… Until our side lost."

Gio and Ashner tuned in closely. This was common knowledge to the locals, but they were out of the loop.

“Our ancestors cursed us with their bitterness and hatred. We carry their arrogance on our crests… Those of us who have remained free live among the monsters in the north. But the fact that mankind is letting demi’s get devoured is only increasing the threat up north, and it's forcing us to move south where humanity lies.

A tactic for more slaves. But they should know if the demi's come from the north. Eventually, the monsters will too.

"That's why I want us to leave this world… And live in yours." Luna turned her head towards Ashner. Determination sparked in her eyes. "Please, our only options are submit or die."

“How many elves are hidden in that forest?”

Her ears shot up. "Four thousand, three hundred and fifty. I can promise you that if you take us as your slaves and give us a good life in your world, we will serve you and your children. We will care for you."

Usually, Luna doesn't openly admit what she wants, but she's desperate about this. Even so.

“I can’t. My power won’t allow me to take an entire society with me. Maybe if I was around monsters and consistently killing them, but that's dangerous. And if I die, no one will be able to enter my world." Luna's ears dropped down along with her eyes. As proud as she was, Luna would throw that away to get the best life for her people. “My world isn't a paradise either… It's tainted.”

“Forgive my outburst.” She bowed, “I won’t pry again.”

*******

As the group returned to the crumbling castle, they were greeted by two elves with swords. They kept a cautious gaze on Ashner and Gio. Luna tapped their shoulders, and they stepped aside, allowing them to enter their castle.

Hundreds of years of hatred won’t fade away in a day, even if my ancestors did nothing.

Wong was busy talking to the locals. He had a notebook out and wrote down the elves' symptoms. His medical supplies were scattered on a table. He was wearing his rubber gloves and handing medicine to a tiny elf, instructing him to take two pills daily.

“Wong," Ashner called out to him. When he was working, he was prone to forget things, like sleeping and eating.

“You haven’t left yet?”

“No, we just got back. What’s the verdict with the elves?”

Ashner gazed into a room. It was massive, with dozens of beds lined next to each other. It was more than likely a soldier's barrack room from whoever built the castle. The elves kept cautious eyes on the three soldiers.

"Most of them require basic medication, and some need doses of vaccinations we can't buy in any store. And there are a few that I need to run tests on to diagnose them, but I can conclude. These people are exhausted, malnourished, and terrified."

“So, are you going to help them?"

“Of course." Wong's tone became insulted.

“We're going to have to create a fake company, melt the gold we have, and start making a name for ourselves… If we can make deals with corporate heads in the floating cities, then we can afford to help everyone here."

“We can’t pull that off.” Wong sighed. “There is no land to ‘fake mine’ gold out of.”

“There is," Ashner smirked behind his mask. "It's just contaminated."

“Are you out of your fucking mind?” Wong tapped his head. “That land is.”

“Free." Ashner continued. "No one owns radiated areas, and it's a perfect place to hide the gold we take from this world… And I have the power to prevent any of us from getting radiation damage…"

Wong stood silent, at a loss for words.

"Where's Gio?" Ashner pivoted around the room. He had gone ahead of the group, but now he was nowhere to be found.

“He’s more than likely playing his moves on the demi-cow queen… I really hope she’s not the kind that chops off our heads if we piss her off.” Wong glanced at Luna. She shrugged. “That’s not very comforting.”

Wong led the way towards the White Room. Ashner had left the door open. Risa and Naomie followed behind, and Luna stopped when she entered the White Room. She tilted her head as the three walked into a world forbidden to her. Naomie stayed behind and went into her room, leaving the elf alone.

*******

They were in the hospital. Time passed the same on this side, so it was the middle of the night. Ashner tracked Wong walking into an ‘off-limits’ section.

“He has a good heart. Luna’s people will be safe in his hands.”

“Master.” Risa was timid with her words, then immediately stepped away. Ashner caught that she rationalized that whatever she was going to say would offend him. "Never mind."

“No, tell me what you were going to say.”

She rubbed her shoe against the floor. “Why do you care so much for others… But when it comes to yourself, you neglect the basics… Your hair hasn’t been cut in months, and your beard doesn’t suit you.”

“What’s the point?”

“What's the point?" She raised her eyebrow. "In my world, when you seek an audience with a noble, you make yourself as presentable as possible. If you plan on negotiating with powerful people, you shouldn't dress like a man who sleeps in a stable."

She wants me to freshen up… Well, Risa is onto something. Suppose I meet those CEO vultures. Then I need to at least look like an up-and-coming CEO.

“Sure, I’ll take you to a place that cuts hair… You also need clothes… So we’ll make a few stops.”

“I’m fine with these clothes.” She was wearing an old shirt that Ashner lent her. It was a little too large and brown cargo pants. Even Alex wore Ashner’s old clothes.

"No, if you want to be my guard, you must be just as professional."

She bowed. “As you command.”

“The results are in.” Wong walked back into the hallway holding half a dozen bottles of pills and a few shots. “Take these into the world. I’ll be right behind you… I just need to do something.”

Ashner nodded and took off with Risa into the White Room.

*******

Wong sighed and walked into the chief of surgery’s office. He was an older man with a fading hairline.

“Wong, what brings you here so late? I thought you were on vacation.”

"Hey, Jenson. I'm here because I'm quitting, effective immediately."

The older man raised his eyebrow. “You? I’ve never met someone as good as you. You're already in multiple medical magazines… Not to mention, you have several private practices practically begging you to join them… You wasted all those opportunities and stayed here in the free clinic… With your talent, you can easily take my position, or dare I say… Open your own practice in one of the floating cities."

“I’m fully aware of my accomplishments… But.”

“But?”

“I never had a true family… And I ended up finding brothers in the war… But one by one, they disappeared from my life… And I was alone again… I was empty for years… But now, I got them back, and they tend to be reckless and act on their emotions… So I need to be there for them and make sure they don’t veer off track again… I'm uncertain if I'll ever return to this hospital again.”

“Always giving yourself up for others… Just answer me something… Are you happy with them?”

“Yes.”

The older man nodded. "It's a shame seeing you go. Just know this place will always have its doors open in case you need it."

“I’m aware of that too.” Wong smiled. “Goodbye, my friend.”

Wong turned and stepped out of his office. He was alone in the hallway. He had left a bag of gold in the office, as an apology for stealing medical supplies. It was more than enough to pay back what he stole and then some.

"What's the point of living my dream if I have no one to share it with." Wong stepped towards the White Room. "Maybe I’ll open my own practice… In the other world… That sounds… Very fun.”

*******

“HOW DARE YOU!” Ari drew her dagger. "HOW DO I STOP HER?" She asked Gio.

She pointed at the small computer screen. On it, Gio's favorite anime played. They were finishing up the first episode.

"You can't stop her. That isn't real."

“How can it not be real? They’re moving and speaking. They’re alive.”

Gio paused the program. “See, it’s just a show.”

The queen bobbed her head from side to side. She was busty, and on several occasions, Gio glanced down at her body. They were in her throne room. Her guards were invested in the show, instead of keeping eyes on everything around her. She was practically defenseless, but Gio wanted to ‘weeb her up,' as he would put it.

“Does your world have more of this type of entertainment?”

“It does." Gio smiled. "But a lot of it was lost during the war…"

"Tedious." She pulled on her purple hair lightly. "It's a shame this can't be shared with all my kin… I'm sure the clan would adore this. Sadly, this screen is too small." She tapped the computer.

"It's possible to create a larger version," Gio recalled movie theaters. It wasn't impossible to recreate that. "It'll take some work, but I can make it."

Ari's eyes lit up briefly, and then she repressed her emotions. Her aura of royalty returned. "May I ask a favor of you, human Gio."

“I’d prefer it if you just called me Gio.”

The queen pulled on her hair again. "Can you bring more of your world's entertainment? Morale is low, and since you're from another world. Both the elves and demi-cows are starved for something new… Depression is as deadly as any dagger."

“I’ll bring lots of things, maybe create a small movie theater.”

“What is this movie theater?”

"It's a room with hundreds of seats, with a massive screen. That way, all your people can watch a movie or a show together."

She nodded. “I approve the construction of this… Movie theater.”

Gio giggled. “As you command, your highness.”

“For a human, you’re very smitten with me.” She tilted her head. Her curves were highlighted well on the seat. “More than most. Why is that?”

"You're perfect. From your body to your voice and your purple eyes." The guards focused on the buff man. Gio stopped talking, catching that he might've opened up too much. He kept his gaze on the queen. "I’d do anything for a girl like you.”

Her face blushed a little. The complete opposite effect that Gio expected.

She stood up. "I demand the construction of the movie theater."

Her voice became higher, almost squeaky.

"And thank you for the compliment, for a human, you're… not too bad looking… But it's not like I'm interested. I'm just curious, that’s all… Now, if you’ll excuse me."

She left quickly.

“Oh my god.” Gio giggled. “She’s shy… I love this world.”

He rolled over on the bed. "This is going to be fun."

*******

Wong had a line of elves. They were getting shots, and he passed out pills, giving every elf specific instructions. He quit his job and even brought water bottles from his hospital. The elves gulped them down, and they marveled at its purity.

The locals started bowing at Wong as they left. Out of all the humans, he was the one they respected the most. He asked for no money, nor did he ridicule them unless they hit on him. Wong showed them the same respect he showed every patient in his own world.

He was an oddity to the elves.

All the soldiers were. But they kept their distance from Ashner.

Out of the three. Ashner had an aura that kept everyone far away. Even if Gio's face was brutish at first glance, he smiled at everyone, which made him approachable.

They spent the rest of the night helping Wong with patients until the three collapsed back to back. Former soldiers, exhausted from a hard day. They ended up falling asleep against each other.

Luna put a blanket over the three and walked away.

Risa was monitoring from a distance, her eyes heavy and tired.

Luna walked up to the demi-cat. Risa reached for her sword.

“Do you still not trust me?” Risa moved her hand away from her sword. “I did free your people.”

"I'm grateful. And I haven't decided yet if I should trust you… This is the first time I’ve seen demi’s work and trust each other… The demi-foxes were not the first group of demi’s my people fought…”

“If we can’t learn to trust each other, then this world will never improve.”

Risa relaxed. "Without those three, we can never make a change." Luna glanced at the three sleeping warriors.

“You don’t have to worry about my people trying to harm them. They earned their respect.”

“That’s a relief.”

“Now, I want to earn yours. My goal is simple. I want to escape this world with all my people. Ashner told me it was almost impossible… ‘Almost’ is all I needed to hear, I’ll make it a reality.”

"Why are you so hellbent on leaving?" Alex asked as he walked up to the two girls. "That world is different, but it has its own struggles, and it's filled with nothing but humans. Your people despise them… Luna, you despise them as well, it’s obvious."

"Yes, I do. But this world is dying… You two don't sense it because your lifespans are short. I can feel it in the trees, in the air, and in the sunlight… The Dead God is growing in power. He will destroy and devour this entire world… Even with three compelling humans on our side. We can't stop what's coming. This world will die and become the vessel for a God that only wants death and destruction.”

The demi’s glanced down.

"My people will go into their world. We will survive." Luna's eyes were filled with passion and rage. "That is my only desire. Either help me or stay out of my way."

“What of all the other demi’s?” Alex asked. “Hundreds of demi races. They’ll all die.”

“Let them die!” Luna leaned against the hallway. “Demi’s can’t trust each other. We’re backstabbing each other just to survive a few more days. Even if the humans trap us, we’ve all done terrible things just to get by.”

“Should we tell our master?" Asked Alex.

“No," Risa spoke up. "Ashner is kind. He helps everyone who asks for it. That's both a virtue and a vice. We follow what he desires, but let's not create a situation that'll force him to risk his life for demi's who would happily kill him simply because he's human."

Luna smirked. “Now you’re getting it.”

Alex grabbed his arm and glanced down at the floor. “Not all of us are bad.”

"Even so," Luna pushed against the wall. "We serve the same Master. By the time the Dead God devours the world, we'll be on Earth. Far away from the desolation of our world… I’m not against the idea of finding more demi allies… But I’m not making that my objective…”

“Don’t forget.” Luna changed her stance and continued talking. “Three men can’t save the world.”

Alex glanced at Risa, who stayed behind with her. "We should try saving everyone we can."

She shook her head. “I know you mean well. But what would happen if we bring millions of demi’s into his world? A world without magic… Humans won’t have the means to protect themselves against the hatred demi’s have harbored for generations against humanity. They’ll slaughter and force them into submission.”

“You can’t be certain they’ll do that, not to mention the weapons that world possesses. They can defend themselves.”

Risa shook her head. "You learned how to use that sidearm." She referred to Alex's handgun. "If other demi's learn how to use one and add magic on top of that. Then humans will be obliterated by demi's… Our kind will enslave humanity, and once again, we'll turn into the very thing we hate."

Alex didn't argue. He just cocooned into himself. "Go to sleep. I'll keep watch." Alex needed some time to reflect. He wanted to be alone.

Risa walked into the room and fell asleep next to Ashner.

*******

The morning was filled with the laughter of children. Ashner woke up, Risa was cuddled up against a wooden seat next to him. She was petite and slept holding her sword. Elven kids ran into the room.

“Doctor Wong!” A child rushed towards him. “My voice has returned, listen.”

Wong smiled. "The medicine is taking effect. Now, remember what I said. Two pills a day until you run out. Once in the morning and once at night. No more, no less." The doctor stood up in a daze.

“Yes.” The boy ran off to play with his friends.

“They already love you," Ashner commented.

“They rely on me to keep them healthy. It's not love. It's a necessity."

“Whatever you say.”

The group readied themselves for the day. They had been working nonstop for three days.

They were going to return to their world. And the elves had prepared a farewell sending. They offered them necklaces made of grass and oddities, like dolls and elven clothes. But a good portion of the kingdom kept their distance.

The queen stood by the White Room holding a metal jug and three cups.

The guys stopped by the door, and she made a declaration to the humans.

“Wong, thank you for healing my subjects. You'll always be welcome in our domain." She glanced at Ashner. "Thank you, Ashner, for protecting my subjects and my dear friend Luna. You have my respect and my gratitude, and lastly… Gio."

Her face grew a little red. “You showed me a part of your world everyone should experience… And I hope you visit soon.” Her voice’s pitch became higher. “If you want to, that is…”

Gio smiled.

“I offer you the fruits of my mana." Ari's handmaiden handed the three a metal cup with a drink in it.

Ashner took a sip first.

It’s milk.

Ashner sipped and studied the busty queen… The queen of the demi-cows.

Oh, oh no… She wouldn’t… Would she?

Wong stopped mid-sip, and his conflicted eyes met with Ashner's.

“Where…” Ashner wasn't sure if this question was offensive, but he needed an answer. "Where did you get this milk?”

“I made it," Ari answered honestly.

Wait, don't overthink this… I might be diving into unknown territory here.

Gio chugged the cup quickly, gulping it in like fast breaths.

“With my body.” Ari continued.

Ashner and Wong's eyes widened, and both their jaws dropped. Gio, on the other hand, took the jug and started chugging it like a man who hadn't relished a sip of water in weeks.

“And the mana it produces.” She created milk from the air and refilled the jug Gio had just chugged.

Oh, thank God!

Ashner and Wong sighed in relief. Gio was conflicted with the truth. A part of him was mad that it wasn't the milk he wanted.

"Master." This time, Luna spoke up. Her ears were higher than usual. "I wish to follow you into your world."

Ashner raised his eyebrow.

Luna lowered herself to the ground, knelt, and kissed Ashner's legs.

“What are you doing?” Ashner asked.

The queen wasn’t having it either. “Luna, stop degrading yourself!”

"I'm aware you need to waste your XP to allow someone to enter your world. You mentioned before that you could take one person with you… Please allow me to follow you. I'll willingly become your slave for that honor."

The locals were shocked. Ashner didn't understand why, but he figured she did something unheard of. They all waited for Ashner's answer. Luna held on to Ashner’s leg tightly.

“Luna… Let go.”

She refused, clinging on to his leg like a child having a tantrum.

“Why do you want to go?”

“To satisfy my own curiosity.”

She's lying. Luna isn't the kind of girl who does something like this out of curiosity. She has some plans up her sleeve.

Ashner glanced at Alex and Risa. “Do you want her to come with us?”

Both of them gave him a confused gaze.

“Master, that’s not our place to-”

“Zip it. Should she come with us?"

Both of them gazed down at the busty elf until Risa spoke up. "Yes, I believe she means well. Plus, with her tagging along. You can strengthen your bond with the elves."

“I see.”

Menu, buy everything required to allow her to enter my world.

The menu spun, and his XP dropped.

XP:345 > XP:315

Luna gauged it in her soul. She no longer sensed the pressure of the forbidden door. Both worlds were hers to explore.

She hugged Ashner’s leg with a devious smile. “Thank you, Master.”

Ashner lifted her up. This caught her off guard. He didn't appear it. But he was strong.

They walked into the White Room. As they did, the claps and farewell cheers of the elves and demi-cows echoed behind them. Then they closed the door.

*******

A few days passed. Gio didn't have a home, so he crashed on Ashner's couch.

Most nights, he forced Alex to watch several types of animes, from horror to humor and even the perverted ones.

Until the day of change came.

It’s been a week. Menu, spin.

The menu broke and spun like a Rubix cube.

(Rare) Restore

Level 1 – (Bought) – By touching metal and using your mana, you can remove rust and restore the item back to its former glory.

Level 2 – 10 XP – By touching an item, you can restore any metal mixed with plastic back to its former glory.

Level 5 – 10,000 XP – You can restore destroyed items lost to time and enchanted weapons and gear. This also allows you to swap out the metal inside of items.

Useful, but I don't have mana… Or maybe I do?

“It’s so hard to say goodbye.” Alex’s eyes were watery.

“Why? It’s a piece of crap.” Ashner corrected him as he locked the door to his apartment up for the last time. Gio had earned some money from the army for being in a coma for years. So they proposed that it was time to leave the city and head into a place no one dared to enter.

They had packed up everything they had in Wong's van. Ashner and Gio didn't own much, but Wong did. He had a U-haul truck packed with his belongings. The three were going together.

“It’s time to see another part of my world.”

“What part is that?” Luna asked as she took in the sights of the radiation-filled landscape.

“A place that crumbled to the fallout of war.” Ashner leaned against the seat. “A place that used to be more beautiful than this city.”

“How can anything be more beautiful than this city?” Alex asked and pointed down another road where a homeless man was peeing on a rusted wall.

“Oh, you’ll find out.”

*******

The first thing the group took in was the humidity. Alex stuck his head out the window for most of the trip, allowing his demi-dog side to shine. Risa slept for most of the ride, but Luna kept her eyes outside and peered at the world. Occasionally, her ears shot up when she gawked at something out of the ordinary for her.

I wonder what goes through their heads when they see something they can’t comprehend.

“What is that?" Luna pointed at the sky. A sizable gray sphere floated over the clouds.

“That's one of the floating cities." Wong didn't have to glance up. "I think it's Denver, or maybe Albuquerque… Or Phoenix… I'm not certain… But those three tend to float around here."

“It's enormous," Luna added.

“You can only see the bottom of it. On top of it, millions of people live there." Wong continued. "That's our goal if we can manage to get into one of those cities. We won't have to worry about resources, food, or anything else."

“Have you been there?” Alex’s ear drooped.

“We all have at one point." Wong sighed. "But we all lost access to them. Ashner went to jail, Gio ended up in the hospital, and I rejected my citizenship so I could stay near them."

The enormous floating city parted clouds in the sky. It had no propellant or any type of flame under it. The technology for the cities was a complete mystery. Some speculated it was using some type of dark or anti-matter technology. And some conspiracy theorists claimed it was alien tech. Either way, the cities hadn't gone down in years and it was normal to occasionally sight one floating in the sky.

Before leaving the city, the three stopped in a small store. It was worn down with barely functioning radiation filters. Ashner planned on wasting the last of his money on supplies they needed for the road. More clothes and food.

At the same time, the demi’s found clothes they liked and bought them. Risa kept to a tomboy-ish style while Luna chose summer dresses. Alex opted for black and white clothes.

Ashner bought spare ammo. He wasn’t allowed to buy guns but ammo was readily available for anyone with money.

After a while the girls waited outside on a concrete bench. They were rejecting offers from random strangers. Risa and Luna had no idea what a cell phone number was and left several guys confused after they rejected them.

The group drove out of the city and deeper into the world until they got to a metal warning sign.

‘Radiated beyond this sign. Warning! If you pass this point, you will die.'

Wong held up a radiation meter. It wasn't activating. They were safe for now.

“Are you sure we can go in there?” Wong turned off the meter.

Menu, buy Radiation Resistance for Gio and Wong.

XP:315 > XP:225

The two guys didn’t phase or move.

"That's odd. I spent the points, but neither of you seem to be reacting."

“Why would we react?” Gio raised his eyebrow.

“The others reacted, guess it’s different with humans… None of us will die or get sick if we go into the city.” Ashner reassured them.

"Alright." Gio hit the gas, and they drove into a city no one dared to enter. Wong tilted his head back carefree. The three trusted each other without question.

*******

The group drove around abandoned vehicles, some were from the people who tried to escape the city, and others were looters who died trying to get into the metropolis. Luna fiddled around in her seat. "Can we stop?"

Gio stopped, and Luna stepped out. Ashner followed behind. "What's wrong?"

Luna’s eyes studied the terrain. “The spirits of the dead are everywhere… Not just from the war, some are from eons before that…”

Ashner studied the world. It was quiet, like a snowy night. The bugs that entered the city died out. Only a few had managed to survive its harsh environment.

“The Dead God's influence doesn't reach this world," Luna smirked. "If he had this many souls to devour, he would surely return… It's almost like your God abandoned this realm…"

“It feels that way… Didn’t the good God in your world leave it behind?”

“They did.”

“So, this could’ve been your world had they killed the Dead God instead of wounded him.”

“You're right… I want to send some of them to the next realm, but I don't have the mana to take them all… I don't think I'll ever have enough mana to send all the dead to the next world… There are so many…"

“Do what you want." Ashner returned to his seat. As he did, Luna's power lit around her. And for a few seconds, a handful of souls were visible. They all reached their hands towards Luna. Some reached out to her, and others smiled as they disappeared.

“What the fuck?” Wong studied the spirits.

“Magic." Gio smiled. "Don't worry, you'll shoot out fireballs in no time, oh geeky wizard."

“Fuck you." Wong retaliated.

“Fuck you." Gio continued. "Off-brand K-pop star."

“Failed fem-boy.”

Both of them snorted and laughed as Luna returned to the car. She struggled to breathe from the mana exhaustion.

“I can only send a hundred or so back a day." She admitted. "But some occasionally tell me their secrets, regrets, and doubts."

“You truly are a Saint." Ashner smiled, and she glanced away.

The group took a long-needed break from driving. Deep inside the city, remains of old cars, some with wheels and others with hover technology were left abandoned.

Some supermarket doors still opened and closed, and some signs still advertised for brands of food that had long since died out.

“The bomb that was launched this way missed and hit the outskirts of the city, so most of it is still intact. But the radiation still lingers." Gio explained to the otherworlders. "The radiation is supposed to clear out in about three thousand or so years."

“Our world has ruins," Luna added. "But none of them look like this. Most of these homes look like you can walk right in and live in it.”

As they drove past some homes, their lights were still on. The shingles collected solar energy and transferred it into the house. Even years after the war, these homes still worked.

“That’s because you can.” Gio continued. “These houses were made with graphene, along with most flying cars and circuitry. Our armor was made of it, too. Well, not the ones we're wearing right now. Due to the shortage of weapons and armor, we were given stuff that was hundreds of years old... And they're also the most important material in building the floating cities."

"The material used to be hard to make. But Raven Corp found a way to produce it on a large scale. Before that, it was built atom by atom." Ashner interrupted. "That company ended up leading the world in technological advancement, but the war started, and the remaining world governments focused on making more floating cities and keeping the wealthy away from the ground.”

The three demi’s only grasped some of the things the two said. But they kept listening.

“Gold is also essential in the creation of the floating cities. It's common knowledge that gold is the city's fuel source. But the world exhausted or lost most of its gold reserves. That's why it's the most sought-after material in our world…"

The three demi’s kept studying the unknown world.

“What is that?” Alex asked as they ate their military rations. He pointed at a billboard that was starting to wither away.

The billboard showed a teenager holding a machine gun with the words 'All Hands on Deck' above it.

“I remember those.” Gio smiled. “And the commercials the government made to make the public aware that fourteen to seventeen year old’s were going to be drafted.”

“I don’t understand.” Risa munched on a cracker.

"This country was powerful, but it was fighting most of the world. Even some of our allies turned on us using our own weapons. And the government was running out of soldiers, so they made shows, commercials, video games, and even forced our teachers to encourage us to want to join the war effort." Wong added. "The truth was, they were desperate, and 'All Hands on Deck' was their way of trying to resolve the issue."

“Sending children to war is despicable.” Luna huffed.

“It is, but it worked.” Wong continued eating his noodles. “Children joined the ranks, including the three of us… We were the youngest battalion in American history… But…”

Wong dug into his medical bag and pulled out a wooden box. He opened it. Inside were the name tags of over three hundred soldiers. "This was our battalion… Excluding the Sergeants and Officers, they all died before they turned eighteen…”

“You kept them?” Ashner’s eyes widened.

“Yes. Everyone died. Except for us and Crow… I think it's only fair that we take care of their name tags… I want to make a memorial for them one day…”

“We’ll make one for them.” Ashner lifted his mask up just enough to sip a bit of water.

“I'm in," Wong smirked, and Gio gave them a thumbs up.

They continued their journey until they arrived at an old factory. It was partly overtaken by nature from the outside. The roots had crumbled through some of the parking spots, but the inside was another story.

Ashner and the group entered through the front door. It was covered in dust and dirt. Old folders were scattered on the floor, and the chairs had deteriorated.

Computers were still intact, and some of the televisions were on, but only static emerged from them. "Where are we?" Alex asked as he pawed one of the computers.

“This will be the first step." Ashner and the group walked ahead. They were armed, but none of them expected a fight. Instead, they passed by old offices, vending machines, and server rooms until they ended up in a room that overlooked the factory.

Ashner dabbled with the machinery until he found the right switches. The lights below turned on, revealing enormous graphite bowls and thousands of casts to create ingots, along with robots that ran out of energy, forklifts, and packaging materials.

"This is an old gold refining plant. And this will become our new company." Ashner smiled under his mask. "The law states that no land in radiated areas belongs to any nation… This means we can claim this area as our own and use the machines here to smelt the gold we take from your world and sell it in ours… This is where we'll start to make our fortune."

Gio stayed upstairs and started cleaning the CEO's office. The sun was going to set soon, and they needed a place to sleep.

Ashner and the rest went down to the factory. The floor was covered in a thin layer of dust, and the robots that maintained the factory were partly rusted.

“We’re going to need to replace some of this.” Wong toyed with the graphite and machinery. “Unless you use that new power you gained.”

Ashner had explained to everyone on the ride to the factory what his powers were, how much they cost, and their limitations.

“You just need to use your mana.” Wong pointed at the building. "Does Restore mean it can restore rotten items? If that's the case, then we can reuse this building without spending a fortune buying equipment, and we can also smelt the materials here and now."

“That’s the idea… I’ll test it…” Ashner walked up towards one of the machinery. He clasped it and focused on his power…

For a few seconds, nothing happened.

“Come on, use your mana… And if you can… Give me some of that mana…" Wong's eyes lit up. Like a child asking for a Christmas present. "I want to learn how to use magic."

“I’m starting to believe those rumors of you writing fan-fiction are actually true.”

"It wasn't just fan-fiction…” Wong smirked. “More like… Erotica...”

"Seriously? But that series is decades old…" Ashner giggled. That was so out of character for Wong. "I didn’t take you for a perv.”

“I'm not a perv, like women. I'm classy, and I don't watch porn… I read it..."

“Who were the main characters?”

"Hermione and Luna… Now, let's stay on topic."

“Alright." Ashner focused on his hand, then on his body, and lastly, his mind. Trying to stretch a new muscle that wasn't there before.

Ashner pressed his palm on the machinery again, this time focusing on his power. The rust on the machine faded away, and it repaired itself where he pressed. Then, Ashner collapsed to his side.

Risa’s wind magic made her teleport next to him. She caught him before he tumbled to the ground.

Ashner’s vision was blurred, and he struggled to stand up, almost like he was on the verge of passing out.

"What happened?" He asked as Wong rushed towards him, checking his pulse and studying his eyes.

"Your pulse is fine, your eyes are struggling, but they're focusing." Wong patted his mask. "Speak to me. How are you feeling?"

“Dizzy, like I just ran a marathon.”

"Master." Risa held him tight. "A mana pool is something you have to work on. Children have the energy and stamina for it, so it comes naturally to them as they grow… On occasion, grown adults start to use mana, and it's always a struggle dealing with the backlash of burning through your mana pool."

“I see…” After a few minutes, Ashner stood up. He was no longer lightheaded. “So mana has to be built up by constantly using it?”

Luna walked towards them, and she nodded. "Yes, mana is a very fickle thing. Some can study it their whole lives and still be held back by their limitations. While others naturally have a great affinity for their powers and grow at an alarming rate."

Maybe it has something to do with their affinity levels… What if I level that up? How will that affect their mana?

“Is there a way for me to get mana?” Wong jumped into the conversation.

“I don't know… All humans in my world have access to mana, and maybe because you ventured into our world, you might've obtained it…"

Wong nodded and studied Ashner as he readied himself once more.

“Menu, buy Restore up to level three.

XP:225 > XP:115

Level 2 – (Bought) – By touching an item, you can restore any metal mixed with plastic back to its former glory.

Level 3 – (Bought) – By touching an item made of metal, you can completely restore it. This includes liquids and rubbers that may have dried up.

Ashner palmed the machinery again, this time going a little further in restoring it right before he stopped and let the dizzy sensation almost overtake him.

“This… This is going to take a while.” Ashner studied the entire building. He planned on eventually restoring every inch of the factory.

The group cleaned up and set up their sleeping bags in the CEO's office. It was the most pristine and largest office with a bed and even workout equipment that Gio happily started using.

After a few hours, Ashner returned. He was covered in sweat and exhausted. But in his hands, he held a small circular robot.

He handed it to Gio.

“Machinery is my thing, but tech was always Crow's specialty." He dabbled with it and pressed a button behind it. The tiny robot started moving and cleaning up the floor. "Oh, that was simple."

“I can fix old machinery by using my mana on it… But fuck… I feel like I swam a few miles…” Ashner fell on his sleeping bag and crashed out in seconds.

The following week, the group cleaned the old factory. Ashner's mana slowly increased. The first three days were the worst, but his body adapted. The factory was enormous, and he finished fixing the machinery, so he opted to start working on the walls. Some were water-damaged, and others had rusted.

Free Gotcha Spin?

“Sure, spin.” Ashner hadn’t registered that a week had passed.

The menu spun like a D10 die.

(Common) Anal Lubrication

Level 1 – (Bought) – By spending 25XP, you can purposely lube a target's butthole for as long as you desire… For reasons of your desire…

“What… The fuck…" Ashner stood there for a few seconds, reading and re-reading his new power. "That's something I doubt I'll ever use."

Ashner shook the menu away. “But Common spins only have one level… Have I been getting lucky with the Rare and Epics… I’m hoping I end up with a Legendary soon…”

Ten days passed in total until Ashner called everyone down into the warehouse.

The group ventured down to the smelting machines. Even after the machine had been entirely restored, Ashner had to keep using his power on it. Wong guessed it was to repair all the wiring. The gold coins were melting inside the enormous graphite bowl. Ashner wanted everyone there for what came next.

Ashner pushed a button on the machinery.

The crucible tilted and poured the molten gold on top of hundreds of casts. As they did, the slaves curiously observed. And when it was ready and cooled, Ashner grabbed his first real gold bar.

He just about skipped towards the group. The bar was well-made and professional. And in the corner was a mark.

A key with a door behind it.

“Is this our logo?” Gio asked.

"Yes." Ashner held the gold bar up. "This is the fruit of our labor. With this, our lives are going to change for the better… Finally…"

“And how exactly are we supposed to sell this?" Wong asked, but Ashner was already ahead of him. He had made a special cast. In his hand he held five business cards. They were all made of gold.

“We just need to mail these to five companies…”

“Why five?" Wong raised his eyebrow. "Over forty companies in the floating cities are involved in gold distribution."

Ashner gave Alex a devious smile. "I know exactly which five to send these invitations to." Alex's ears dropped, and his eyes widened.

*******

A week later, he got the call. Ashner was ready to negotiate. He had driven back to his old city and waited in an open parking lot.

He even went as far as to get a haircut and shave his beard.

"This will be our first time going into a floating city.” Ashner held on to his briefcase. He had gone out of his way to get a suit for himself and Alex. And business attire for Luna and Risa.

Spin?

Sure, spin.

The menu spun.

(Common) Resist Illusion Attacks

Level 1 – (Bought) – Your body naturally resists illusion attacks.

That’ll be useful… But what if I want to be charmed?

It didn’t take long until a floating limo parked next to them. The doors opened upward, and an AI female formed from the lights inside the limo. "Please enter." She bowed.

Ashner, Luna, Risa, and Alex stepped inside, and the limo lifted into the sky. The demi's glanced outside the windows as the state-of-the-art machine took them far up into the atmosphere.

The floating city was miles in the distance. But once they broke above the clouds, the group marveled at it. An enormous sphere was its foundation, but as they rose, the group gulped in the sights. Buildings higher than anything Earth had before the war started. Properties with miles and miles of land. Amusement parks that stretched for miles. Recreated buildings lost to the war. Like the Statue of Liberty, the Vegas Strip, and even parks that gave the city a spark of green.

“Wow.” Alex pawed at the window. “I’ve never seen anything like this.”

“This is the seventh floating city, appropriately named Colorado. With a population of over seven million people.” The AI became smaller and walked around the inside of the car. "It remains afloat and drifts over the ruins of Denver, Arizona, and occasionally New Mexico. Its primary purpose is to unite with Albuquerque and Phoenix to build new floating cities. It's scheduled to unite with the two cities in the near future and create a new floating city. The construction of a new city takes approximately three years to complete."

Three years? That's phenomenal. It's amazing how far technology advances once humanity is on the brink of extinction.

“The population has less than 20 percent radiation damage and due to advancements in medicine.” The AI continued. “Every floating city serves a purpose. This one creates floating vehicles and robots, and it's the leading city in chip development."

“Is this the best city?” Alex asked eagerly.

“No." The AI shook her head. "The best city rated by happiness and overall health is Raven. The headquarters of the Raven Corp company. It has less than 2 percent radiation damage to its citizens, with a population of less than a hundred thousand. It's also the only city able to float out of the atmosphere. Its citizens enjoy the luxury of seeing the planet from space. It's also the leading city in military advancements. And it's currently pushing to create space travel."

The demi's glanced at each other, confused.

We fucked up our planet, why not look for another to destroy?

“We'll be arriving at our destination soon. Please be patient." The limo had no driver. The AI operated it and casually landed on top of a corporate building. It took a few seconds for the engines to shut down and the doors to open.

Ashner stepped outside first. He inhaled. "The air, it's so fresh up here…" He also grasped that it wasn't freezing. He studied the sphere that surrounded the city. Some machines floated around the city, keeping it warm for its residents.

A humanoid robot greeted them and led them toward the meeting room. As soon as Ashner entered, a human guard held his hand out. "Excuse me, sir." He pointed at the C-R on Ashner's hand.

Oh fuck.

"We all make mistakes." He reached into his drawer and pulled out a gel product. He rubbed some on Ashner's hands, and the letters disappeared. "The law forbids you from wearing gloves. There is no law stating you can't wear a cream."

Ashner stood there dumbfounded for a few seconds.

“It will wear off when you wash your hands." The man was confused by Ashner's silence. "Some people still hold a stigma for mistakes some of us make… But rest assured… Most of us have made mistakes. I'm assuming you took a plea deal as punishment for failing your company."

The man winked at Ashner. “The company comes first, but at least you weren’t cast out into the world below.”

So this is high society… They treat crimes as a convenient way to punish an employee…

"The CEOs are ready for you." The guard bowed, and a woman grabbed the door’s handle. It was metallic and designed to resist a bombardment of missiles. But like everything made of graphene, it was lightweight.

“Enter.” The delicate voice of the room’s receptionist allowed them to proceed. She was human and held the door open for the group. Ashner walked in first. He still wore his mask, but this one was white with a black stripe going through the eye and mouth slit.

To Ashner's expectations, five females sat in front of them, each worth at least a billion dollars. All of them were dressed in the latest fashion and decorated with millions of dollars in jewelry.

Each one was a fierce lioness in the cut-throat world of business. They each rose through the ranks and ran their own companies.

Ashner caught something else. He had found videos of them, and to his expectations, they were all drop-dead gorgeous.

Beauty bought with endless funds.

Only one of them was easily mistaken for an eighteen-year-old. The rest looked to be in their mid to late twenties. The truth was, every one of them was in their mid-thirties. However, technology and advancements in medicine kept their youthful appearance from fading.

Ashner sat on one of the seats. Even cleaned up, he still wore a suit that wasn't much to stare at. The five women immediately made their decisions in their minds to deny whatever offer he had until Risa and Luna walked in. Both women easily surpassed the five CEOs in beauty.

Now, the CEOs were curious. What did this man have that money couldn't acquire?

Risa kept her eyes on all the women, her hand on her combat knife. Not that any of the women cared. The room had half a dozen hidden robotic guards. Each capable of shocking and killing any aggressor. Risa didn’t care about how these women appraised her. Only Ashner's safety mattered.

Luna smirked as she sat down. Even the most beautiful women barely held a candle to an elf. The businesswomen compared themselves to the girls even if they didn't scope out their ears. Luna found it laughable.

Lastly, Alex walked in. Immediately, his eyes turned purple. He charmed the women. Even without his powers, Alex occasionally created an aura of lust that enchanted females.

The women all found their hearts and minds racing. One by one, they started crossing their legs. One even covered her chest, which she had obviously had work done on.

From the right sat a young blonde with curly hair and blue eyes. Chloe, CEO of Cleveland Inc. She always adorned herself in silver jewelry.

Grace, CEO of Glasgow Inc. A brunette with deep brown eyes. Who always wore a white button-up top under a black business suit. Her alluring body curved neatly against the fabric.

The fiercest of them all, a redhead with a large and natural chest. The wealthiest of the five women, Monica, the CEO of Monarch, a company that started in England before the country was left in ruins. Regardless of the occasion, she always wore a revealing red dress.

Then, another blonde with short hair and a rebellious gaze. Hannah, the CEO of Hipper Inc. A technology-based company that contributed heavily to the war. Ashner grasped that this woman adored green gems and often wore them as jewelry.

Lastly, a short and petite Asian woman with a slim body. Mikan, the CEO of Yuugure Inc. A company that focuses on creating armor and clothes. She wore a red pendant and had the most innocent gaze out of all the CEO's

"Let's begin," Ashner stated as he opened his briefcase and took out several contracts, one for each woman around and one for himself.

Contracts for exclusive rights to sell gold to their companies.

Ashner handed the paperwork to Alex, who stepped forward. He was dressed as a butler and played the part. He got closer to the youngest woman and put the paperwork down. The girl's face became bright red, like a ripe tomato. Next, he went to the next woman and handed her a contract.

“Before we start.” The blonde with short hair tapped the gold card on the desk. “Where did you get this?”

“Nobody gives away gold… But your invitation intrigued all of us…" The redhead added. "I had this analyzed, no traces of radiation… But all gold reserves in radiation-free sections are already owned, and frankly, they're running dry… So how?"

"I have a small company. We recently discovered a huge deposit of gold ore, and we have the equipment and manpower to retrieve it. We also have the ability to smelt it into gold bars." The women glanced at Alex, who gave them all a smile. All five shuttered into themselves, their legs shaking under the table, their bodies warming up with an unbearable need to fuck. One of the girls brought her hand down under the table, squeezing her leg tightly.

Good job. These women are so turned on they'll listen to any ridiculous offer I give just to rush into the nearest bathroom to get off.

“Not to mention.” Monica continued. "Gold mines are owned by the government… If you find one, reporting it to the government is enough for you to get a one percent lifetime bonus for all the gold mined from it. And if you try to mine gold on government land, you'll be arrested."

I’m aiming for much more than one percent.

“The Post-War Protection of Land and Radiation Act states that all sections outside the radiated areas are to remain part of the government while radiated areas remain untouched by any government organization until the radiation clears in the next three to ten thousand years. And whoever claims that land isn't subject to pay taxes to any nation." Ashner continued as the girl's eyes lit up and their mouths dropped. "And due to the fact that I'm not a resident of any of the floating cities individual governments… I fall into the old world’s regulations… So, by law, I have every right to mine in radiated areas… Without the intervention of the floating cities."

“Are you insane? The smart-nukes that were dropped caused the very atoms of matter to become radioactive. Even melting gold down won’t stop it from being dangerous.” Hannah was appalled. “But you have no signs of radiation poisoning, and the gold has no radioactive atoms… How is that possible? Mining gold in an irradiated site is a death sentence… That's why no company is willing to risk taking robots, much less people out there to mine gold… People will die in hours, and machines can’t return to the floating cities after being exposed to radiation… It’s a waste of resources and money…”

“My company found a way to destroy the radioactive isotopes safely. And we created a way to ensure none of our employees get sick or die." Ashner smiled.

That's not true, but my power does allow me to remove all radioactive material from everything. That's why none of my group has radiation on their body or clothes.

"Prove it," Mikan spoke meekly.

Ashner handed her a chunk of gold from his briefcase, and he gave one to each CEO. "Test it. These were just smelted."

The women took out their phones and scanned the gold. All except Monica.

“I see at least one of you trusts me.” Ashner tilted his head towards her.

“Not yet.” The redhead retaliated. “The radiation detectors would’ve gone off had the gold been radiated.”

“If you can remove radiation from objects, why not sell that technology to the highest bidder?" Chloe commented as she put the gold down on the desk. Her face was flush, and she glanced at Alex. "The larger companies like Clear Water and Raven Corp will pay a fortune for that technology.”

“Longevity," Ashner answered with confidence. "I'm not looking to make a quick buck and bail. My aspirations shine beyond just one payday… I want to rival those two companies and crush them… With my offer, we can become the dominating corporations… And if I sell the radiation-removing technology, we will only have more competition in our future."

The women nodded. But the lust in their eyes only grew. Their nails and fingers flipped through the contracts.

Monica skimmed the paperwork. She was the only one who wasn't in a complete trance. She shook her head.

“You’ll be cutting out a huge portion of our profits with this ridiculous offer.” The CEO of Monarch still had some fight in her, the most beautiful of the five. She was also sitting in the center of all the CEOs. Establishing that she held the most influence. According to research Ashner had done on her, Monica had several companies that focused on purifying water. Even if she sold it cheaply, she was easily the wealthiest of all the women. She also had her hands dipped in metal production, food production, and other more secretive things. “You found a gold mine that no one will risk entering… This all sounds like a fairy tale… How about you allow our robots to mine and smelt the gold, and you just remove the radiation? That way, none of your employees are at risk of getting sick.”

She’s trying to get the most profit with the least amount of risk… Commendable, but you don't have the power of an incubus on your side. Plus, I intend to become richer than all of you.

Alex walked behind the girls. As his footsteps echoed behind them, the women sensed a spark go up their spine. He stopped behind the only woman with some resolve and handed her one of the contracts. As soon as she reached for it, her fingers grazed Alex's. His power rushed into her.

Monica moaned softly.

Ashner tilted his head. “Are you okay?”

Her moan grabbed the attention of the other CEOs. Her eyes reached Ashner's.

Ashner’s eyes were filled with fake concern behind his mask. Risa and Luna were both very aware of what that moan was.

“It’s my shoulders,” the redhead stretched back in her seat. Bringing her large chest up, trying to play it off. “It’s been bothering me lately.”

"I see." Ashner glanced at Alex. "Don't just stand there. I may be the owner of the company, but I plan to eventually make you the CEO… Give her a massage."

Before Monica retaliated, Alex's hands gripped her shoulders, and he squeezed her muscles. This made the redhead melt. Slowly but surely, her nipples got hard and visible through her red dress.

The women around her focused on Alex, who gave them all a delightful smile.

“I thought he was just an employee.” Hannah bit her lip. “All of us are the owners and CEOs of our companies."

“A CEO is still just an employee, but he has more than earned the right to stand one step below me…" Ashner smiled at his friend. "And I trust him enough to run the company in my name.”

The news made Alex's ears jump up, and his tail wagged wildly, not that any of the girls could perceive it.

“If we come to an agreement, he will be the mediator and in charge of meeting you gorgeous ladies… Unfortunately, I am too busy with my own work… So most days, it'll be him speaking on my behalf.”

None of the women were displeased with that announcement.

"I think we can make an exception." The redhead spoke, her face blushing. Her body shook, and her pussy dripped. She wore underwear that cost a small fortune, but she wouldn't mind if Alex ripped it off her and had his way. The table was fine. In fact, she didn't care if everyone there enjoyed the show. "We'll be taking a huge cut, so we need something in return."

"My company, as of right now, is small.” Ashner urged. “I can't offer much."

"We won't ask for much, just twenty percent on top of the ten we take for the gold. Even with this offer, you'll still make a fortune, depending on how much gold you bring us and its quality."

“The gold we can bring in is one hundred percent pure.”

“That'll make it… More… Valuable.” Monica stopped herself as soon as Alex stopped rubbing her shoulders. Her fingers had gotten dangerously close to her most sensitive part, even if they were hidden under the table. Ashner and the two girls were still in front of her.

Alex walked to the next girl and handed her the contract. Hannah wasn't the kind of woman to hide what she wanted. She grabbed Alex's hands and forced him to rub her shoulders as well.

That woman smiled and immediately brought her hands under the table. She wore a medium-sized skirt. Her fingers quickly found their way under, and while Alex massaged her, she rubbed herself. An ecstasy unknown to her. Her body mixed with pleasure and Alex’s mana.

The true nature of an incubus.

Her legs spasmed under the table, her body fell forward, hair covering her face. She fought back her moans but squirted. Her juices changed the color of her dress and dripped down her legs.

Ashner smiled, and the girls beside her suspected what she had just done. Luna and Risa sat silently. Alex wasn't using his power on the other slaves. Due to their standing, he viewed them as his equal and never dared to put himself above people Ashner had chosen to trust. What the demi’s were witnessing was lust in its rawest form.

Risa leered at the woman as she orgasmed, and her eyes met Ashner's, then she quickly shot them away. Luna smiled. She was curious how those women would react if it had been her who slid her fingers under the desk and had her fun. Luna's own lust rose. It had been far too long since she had slept with a woman. After decades of fearing humans, a part of her was curious. What would it be like if she dominated one? The sight before her turned the elf on.

The short-haired blonde brought her head and body up with a big smile. The four women around her shared one emotion.

Jealousy.

“Hannah?” Monica glared at her. “Did you seriously?”

The blonde nodded with a smile. Shame was not something she had.

The woman furthest to the right was an Asian woman with jet-black hair, Mikan. She was the shortest. Even so, she stood and gripped Alex's cheeks. Leaving the demi-dog confused. Mikan brought her mouth to his and forced a kiss, one that made her entire body shake with lust. Just kissing him was enough to get her to the razor's edge of an orgasm.

“You too?” The redhead expected this from Hannah but not from Mikan. The four women, excluding Monica crowded Alex, now finally letting their lust take control. Alex wasn't a tall man. He was about as tall as the average woman. But he wasn’t taller than any of the women around him, excluding the CEO of Yuugure.

Grace held Alex's arms, tearing his butler's buttons off. They bounced around the corporate table. Mikan kissed his lips, and Chloe kissed his neck.

Alex glanced at Ashner. Nobody was expecting these women to take it this far.

"This is sexual harassment," Ashner commented. The redhead was the only one of the four who wasn't forcing herself on Alex, but deep down, her lust burned like a raging infernal.

“New deal.” Monica stood. As she did, Ashner got a full view of a liquid running down her leg from her short skirt. “Let us have your employee.”

Ashner debated it as the lust-filled vultures tore off Alex's shirt. The demi-dog didn't hate his situation, but he didn't want to be traded to another human. "Ashner?" He gave his best puppy eyes, begging to remain his.

Ashner sighed. “Unfortunately, my employee isn't for sale. Nor are his services. He's mine, and he's loyal."

Monica pressed her arms together, squeezing her chest, and brought her body forward, using her own form of seduction against Ashner.

“We’ll return him to you on weekends.” She begged.

Ashner smirked.

Now you're negotiating with me. I have this contract in the bag.

“No, he actually has a job. I won’t force him to work two.”

“Fine, fine, just weekends.”

Ashner shook his head. “Once again, those are the days I give him off. Doing that will force him to work every day of the year.”

The women removed Alex’s shirt and tossed it behind them. They also unzipped his pants. As soon as they pulled them down, Luna smiled. Risa kept her eyes on Monica. She was the only one who was still a threat.

"Master?" Alex broke character and was now conflicted. He was still a virgin, and this was turning him on.

"I'm your mistress now." The Asian woman bit his collarbone.

Chloe kissed his neck, the brunette sucked his nipple, and the youngest of the CEOs licked his ribs but quickly came down his stomach and stopped at his manhood.

Alex twitched.

Mikan smiled with his reaction, opened wide, and slid it inside her mouth. Bobbing back and forth.

Alex was no longer able to speak with the pleasure.

Ashner was silent, tapping his fingers on the paperwork.

"We're here to conduct business, not have an orgy…" He pointed up at the cameras inside the room. "I'm curious how your human resource department will handle this."

“Wait! Wait!” The redhead lost what remained of her composure. She removed her leather coat, revealing her assets a little more. “Don't report us… Let us have time alone with him twice a month… I’ll even throw in a mansion for you and your closest employees in the floating city… And, and, we’ll train him personally since you want to make him a CEO… Who else is better suited than us?”

Training him is just a ploy to fuck him, but it’s beneficial regardless… And it’s not like Alex is suffering…

“That's better.” Ashner nodded. “You will only keep ten percent of all profits, and you will never send anyone from your departments to our company. We won't work under you, nor will we report to any one of your companies.”

“Twenty percent.” She retaliated.

“Ten percent, if you try to raise the percentage again, my employee is off the table.”

Monica digested every word, but her lust was overwhelming. She undid the first buttons of her dress, revealing her blood red bra to Ashner and the girls. She was sweating, and the gags of the blowjob were turning her on.

Grace grabbed Alex's hand and forced him to finger her. As soon as his fingers went inside, she moaned like she was losing her virginity for the first time. The orgasm was so intense Grace fell back-first on the corporate table and spasmed, squirting her juices on Alex and the other girls. She removed her shirt and moaned loudly in front of everyone.

“And my employee can and always has the right to refuse all of your advances. Under no circumstances is he your living dildo.” Monica nodded quickly. Her fingers slid under her skirt, and she started playing with herself, finally broken from all dignity and resolve.

"Whatever you say… Just finish this 'cause I need to join in." Her eyes were wild and savage.

"Luckily for you, everything I discussed is already part of the contract. The only thing we need to add is my employee’s part. I wasn't expecting you to want him that badly."

Ashner was also prepared. On the back of every contract, he left a few blank pages. He grabbed each one and added the new clause. One that stated Alex had every right to refuse their advances but would visit the women twice a month for personal reasons, on any day he wanted.

As he finished Monica’s contract, he reached for the others who were entranced by Alex’s charm. He stood up and pushed Hannah away. She was on top of her contract, recovering from the most intense orgasm she had ever experienced. When he roughed her up, she shot him a smile. Not that Ashner was interested. He didn't want to mix business and pleasure.

Despite everything, the woman wasn't offended. She was shaking and dripping juices down her legs, getting the edge of the table wet.

As soon as Ashner finished adding the new conditions. He went to the woman clinging to Alex. They happily signed their contracts. It was an odd sight, making them sign the paperwork as they were cumming, getting fingered, or blowing his friend.

Once their negotiations were completed, Ashner sat back down. He glanced at Alex, who now had two girls blowing him and the other two with his fingers in their kitties.

Monica held her ground. Even if she was exposing her chest, she had held back. Negotiations came first. She walked towards Ashner, and Risa quickly stepped between them. Ashner tapped her shoulder, which meant that it was okay.

Risa stepped away, and the woman caressed Ashner's chest. Her lust was still burning, but her mind was more intrigued. She had never met a man who had taken so much control away from her.

"If you want…" She undid her bra. It had clips on the front, not the back. Her natural breasts were big and beautiful. On top of that, she had pink nipples. "You can stay, and all of us can celebrate with our sweat and cum.”

Ashner sighed and handed her the pen to sign her contract.

“Unfortunately for you… I don’t share girls with other guys.”

The redhead smiled. Even being rejected by a man like Ashner was a turn-on… She always wanted what she couldn't have, but as soon as Monica obtained it, she got bored… Having someone she likes but can never obtain was unheard of for someone as gorgeous and wealthy as her.

Monica signed the contract.

“There. The worst deal I’ve ever signed for my business." She then glanced at Alex, who was also fighting back his moans. "But the best one I signed for myself."

Alex faded his power, but their lust wasn't going away. "Master?" Alex's eyes were worried. He had overdone it.

"I need your permission. A can’t have sex without your approval."

The CEOs were so turned on none of them tuned into Alex's words. Chloe and Grace started making out with each other, only adding to their pleasure.

Ashner understood. That was another part of the seal on his chest. "You have my permission to lose your virginity… To five women at once…"

Alex just about cried, but his eyes turned purple once more.

"The next three days are a freebie for all you girls.” Ashner put his arm on the redhead. “It was a pleasure doing business with you ladies.”

Monica stepped away from Ashner, undid her dress, and let it fall on the carpet. She made her way to Alex and threw him on top of the table.

As she was doing that, Hannah kept blowing him, savoring his body.

The redhead grabbed Alex's dick and hovered her kitty over it. As she did, the blonde stopped sucking and smiled.

She was the first to slide his junk inside her. As soon as it happened, her friends complained.

“Shut up! All of you had your turns, and I had to finish the contract so you girls can get off!”

Alex reached his hand towards Ashner, who was putting the contracts inside his briefcase. “Ashner… I’m so happy I got to share this moment with you…”

You were a total Chad right until that moment. Regardless, you deserve this.

“Enjoy your night… That’s an order…”

I’m not sure how this will play out, but if they fall in love with him, it will only benefit us in the long run. While I'm at it… Menu, from now on, none of my slaves require my permission to have sex.

Alex smiled brightly as Monica jumped up and down, finally pleasing herself after denying her lust for what felt like years.

The group stepped outside of the office. And they were greeted by a very confused receptionist.

They exited the doors, and Ashner embraced the scenery... A beautiful blue sky, white fluffy clouds… Then he turned and punched the wall.

“Master?” Risa palmed Ashner's shoulder. "Are you okay? Did the negotiations not fair well?"

“No, everything went better than I expected… Isn't it obvious why I'm angry?” Ashner rubbed his knuckles. “I'm so jealous of him.”

Both the girls stared at each other and then started cracking up.
