Chapter 11 - Monsters that Claimed the Sky

{[Catch your dreams and find love regardless of your sorrows.]}

The group sat around the Stryker. Some of them sat on picnic chairs, and others leaned against the armored vehicle. They had traveled across the land for several days, and sitting inside the metal vehicle for hours at a time got exhausting.

Gio yawned and studied the world around them. Wildflowers with pedals that grew and scattered once a day littered the ground they drove over. It was a mesmerizing display of yellow, red, blue, and orange that spread for miles. “This world is amazing.”

“It beats ours by a mile.” Wong agreed as he brushed his teeth. In the distance, large mountains covered the landscape.

“Do you think it's possible to save our world?" Gio glanced at Ashner. He was the only one capable of it.

“Maybe, but people will find a way to destroy it again." Ashner stretched his legs. It was the middle of the day, and this was a nice place to eat.

“Master.” Twila held the Glock that Ashner had given to her. "I'd like to practice again."

“Sure." Ashner put a handful of metal soda cans on top of large stones that littered the landscape. Most of them had pedals on top of them.

Ashner walked back to Twila, who smiled and aimed her firearm down range.

“Do you remember what I taught you?" Ashner stood behind her as Alex readied his firearm, too.

“Focus on the weapon in front of me. It's alright if the target gets blurry. Keep a firm grip on the firearm and pull the trigger slowly." Twila had memorized everything Ashner had taught her these last few days. "Expect and get used to the recoil. Lastly, aim for the target's center mass."

“Good. Now, take down your targets."

Twila and Alex fired their rounds. Alex took his targets down easily. Twila missed twice, but she ultimately hit her mark.

They both leveled up? But I didn't spend any XP on them. This means any learned skill can improve as long as they have a teacher and practice it.

Alex and Twila held proud gazes. They had both significantly improved.

But racial traits can't increase naturally.

Gio and Wong started packing up the tables. Luna and Risa helped them out. Ashner used the Key on the hatch’s door and discovered it worked on all types of doors. They left the furniture in the White Room and carried out a box of small arms ammo.

Spin?

The menu hovered next to Ashner.

Yeah, spin, and give me something amazing.

The menu spun like a sports car wheel and stopped.

(Common) Anal Pain

Level 1 – (Bought) – By spending 10,000XP, you can permanently increase or decrease the anal pain your target endures. You can increase the pain up to 1000 times its normal limit.

Let’s not tell anyone about this one…

“How much further?" Wong asked as he took the driver's seat. Alex took the main gun. Ashner and Gio had taken the time to show him how to use it, and they let him fire off some of the 50-caliber rounds but not the main gun.

"Maybe a day or two." Luna took the seat closest to the driver. She had directed the drivers, and she was the one who hadn't slept well for most of the trip.

Ashner sat on the same seat and remarked something odd.

The seat is wet. Maybe someone spilled water on it, or maybe it was humid last night.

The Stryker started moving, crushing thousands of flowers and bugs in its wake.

They passed by abandoned and ruined homes made of wood and concrete. From time to time, they encountered more husks, and Luna stepped out of the Stryker and destroyed them with her power. As they drove, they uncovered a handful of dungeons. Gio marked them in his notebook and took pictures of them with his phone. They did not intend to destroy them, but information about their locations was valuable nonetheless.

The Stryker stopped.

"What's wrong, Wong?" Gio asked.

"I see a few demi's," Alex spoke from the gunner's seat. He was half exposed with the hatch open. "They're gathering water near the river… They're demi-bunnies."

“They survived this long?” Luna bit her nail. “That’s a surprise, considering their nature.”

“Tell me about the demi-bunnies,” Ashner said with crossed arms.

“Let me think.” Luna pulled on her hair. "They all have bunny ears and a bunny tail, obviously. They used to be excellent at growing vegetables and fruits. They're an interesting race since they have an odd lifespan."

“What do you mean by odd?”

"Human children take about twenty years to grow into adulthood, and elves are the same way. But demi-bunnies usually have a litter of at least six children. And they grow five times faster than our kind, so in four years, they become adults. That's when their aging process slows down. And they keep their youth for about two hundred years. Afterward, they start becoming old and ultimately die."

"That would mean they have a substantial population," Wong stated the obvious.

"Yes, they used to. But when the war started, they were the first ones in, and unfortunately, most of them were killed. Demi-bunny slaves are common. They can also only have children when they deeply desire it… But they're also skittish and lose interest quickly… Usually, when they find out they're pregnant."

“So they're not family-oriented?"

“It's more than that." Luna continued. "Demi-bunnies are.-"

A roar shook the Stryker and unnerved everyone.

“Wyverns!” Alex jumped off the main gun and knelt down on one of the seats. “Five of them!”

“Slow it down.” Ashner tried to calm him down.

“We need to hide!” Luna knelt down to her knees. “We can’t stop those monsters!”

They’re terrified.

“Where are they?” Ashner glanced at Wong.

“I count five, they’re descending slowly… Towards the demi-bunnies…” Wong glanced back at his friends.

“They’re dead if we do nothing.”

“We’re dead if we fight those things.” Alex shook from the fear. “We need to run… Please, Master…”

“We fight or we flee!" Wong screamed. "Make your choice, Ashner!"

Heroes die first on the battlefield… Be rational… This is an enemy we've never faced before… Let them die… If they die, we live… Don’t be a hero… Let them die… Fuck… FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!!!! FUCK IT ALL!!!

“Wong, charge the enemy!” Ashner grabbed his Carbine and clipped it on his chest. "We'll engage them with the fifty and the main gun!"

Gio started loading his SAW with a massive smile on his face.

“Ashner... Please... These are the same monsters that took my mom from me..." Luna clutched Ashner's chest. Her eyes were dilated, and her ears were down. "Nobody's killed a wyvern in decades. They rule the sky…"

Ashner smiled behind his mask.

“So they can die." Ashner jumped on the gunner's seat with renewed courage. As he did, the Stryker gained momentum and ripped apart flowers and loose branches under its wheels. "Gio, ready yourself with spare 50 ammo! Let's be the heroes today."

The demi's sat on their seats and put on their seat belts. They bared the bouncing of the armored vehicle. As they approached the demi's, Ashner aimed the main gun at one of the five wyverns in the sky.

The wyverns used their arms to fly like bats, and they were smaller than Ashner had imagined. Each was more or less the size of a school bus. Ashner aimed his reticle at the closest wyvern. As he did, he grasped that the demi-bunnies were screaming and scattering. They ran alongside the river.

Ashner fired the fifty caliber and used the red tracers to track his target. As he did, the wyvern hovered in the air for a moment. That second was all Ashner needed. He fired the main gun.

The rounds ripped through the air, leaving a massive hole in the flying lizard's chest.

XP:2050 > XP:2550

The first wyvern turned into gold coins in the sky. The bits of gold fell to the earth and scattered in different directions as they landed.

“One down!” Ashner smirked.

Twila smiled devilishly as the automatic loading system started reloading the main gun.

Wong adjusted his driving to deal with the recoil of the main gun. As he did, he drove towards the demi's. At the very least, the armored vehicle served as a lure to attract the lizards.

The wyverns focused on the Stryker. A weapon system that eradicated one of their own. The largest one roared, and three of them rushed towards them. Meanwhile, the last one dove towards the demi-bunnies.

Wong raced towards the one diving towards the demi's. If they died, Ashner's plan was in the gutter.

Ashner fired the fifty, making one of them fly away from them. As soon as the main weapon reloaded, he fired, tearing the head off a second one.

XP:2550 > XP:3050

“That’s two!”

Gold rained down and peppered the Stryker. Some coins even managed to land inside the vehicle through the open hole Ashner stuck his chest out of.

Wong circled around the demi's. As he did, the wyvern warily flew upward. It was unsure of how to react, so the monster played it safe. The demi-bunnies cuddled together as the strange metal vehicle circled around them.

Ashner aimed the main gun at the one hovering above the demi's. This one was much larger than the rest, with red and brown scales.

Come on, reload already.

A pair of sharp talons grabbed Ashner's shoulder. It hooked itself to Ashner's armor, and it lifted him out of the Stryker.

“ASHNER!” Gio roared.

Ashner reached for his side arm and fired a few shots between its toes.

The claws released him.

Ashner tumbled on the ground and rolled next to the petrified demi-bunnies. As he did, the wyverns landed around them. Ashner holstered his sidearm and used his Carbine. The rounds peppered the first wyvern's neck and face. Each round made it jolt and flinch. Its scales were hard, but some rounds ripped through and left small holes in its body.

The second wyvern charged Ashner, its mouth open, ready for its lunch. Risa's sword cut into the wyvern's eye. She slashed it hard and even drew some blood.

It wasn’t enough to kill it.

Using her power, she landed behind Ashner.

The main cannon fired again, killing the wyvern closest to the two. The round went through the lizard’s chest and lifted a pile of dirt and pedals of different colors into the sky.

XP:3050 > XP:3150

“Risa!” Ashner ordered as the dragons stared them down. “Protect the demi-bunnies!”

The wyvern hovering above them charged down, slashing at the side of the Stryker. It lifted it up a few inches and cut into the metal.

It thinks the Stryker's an animal, so it's aiming for its belly… I can't have that. If it flips the Stryker, then we have no chance of killing these monsters.

Ashner aimed at the larger dragon and fired a few rounds at it. The wyvern lifted itself up and tumbled down once the fifty caliber cut through its wings, leaving small holes in them. It rolled and lifted its head. Two wyverns were left, and they were within striking distance of a lone demi-bunny.

Ashner aimed and fired. A few rounds rang, and then he stopped.

Dry, fuck not right now!

"Ashner!" Gio was in the gunner's seat. He tossed him his SAW. Ashner dropped his Carbine, which hung to his chest with a clip and caught the SAW. He aimed Gio’s weapon at the dragon’s lower left side as he pulled the trigger. Ashner worked with the recoil. The rounds tore into his target.

The demi’s mouth opened as the rounds ripped her enemy apart.

Gio unloaded the fifty-caliber on the second wyvern. The rounds ripped its head apart, and it staggered and collapsed. Then, it turned into a pile of gold coins.

XP:3150 > XP:3250

The larger wyvern tried lifting itself up, but the firepower of the SAW kept it at bay.

Twila had undone her seatbelt and scanned the battle from behind the bulletproof glass. Her eyes were on Ashner.

Risa stood behind Ashner. She grasped that her skills were not enough to kill the wyvern. But Ashner's weapon cut into the monster, chipping away its scales and tearing its wings apart. The wyvern tried flying off, but the rounds overwhelmed it.

The fifty-caliber joined, and the dragon flailed helplessly. It tried to escape, but instead, it tumbled and died on top of a massive pile of gold coins, making the pile even more enormous.

XP:3250 > XP:4000

Ashner lowered the SAW. Its five-hundred-round magazine had run dry in the nick of time.

“Whoaaaa!” Gio cheered. “Who kicks ass! We kick ass!”

The hatches opened, and Wong ran towards Ashner, checking him and Risa for any wounds.

“Your armor got scratched.” Wong tapped it. “Had it reached for your head instead of your shoulder, it would’ve ripped it off.”

“We dance too much with death.” Ashner sighed. “But we have a lot of gold now.”

Luna and Alex walked towards Ashner. Both of them were shaken from the battle.

“I can’t believe it.” Luna studied the piles of coins.

Twila stayed behind in the Stryker while a handful of demi-bunnies stood in awe.

Luna went and greeted them. The demi's studied the Stryker, and after a few minutes, they walked toward Ashner, Gio, and Wong.

The five women knelt down. Their bunny ears stood out, and they all had a slight fluff of fur for a tail.

“You saved us.” One of the bunny girls spoke first. She was underweight with white ears. “Thank you.”

I thought these demi’s grew food, but all five of them look underweight… Or maybe they’re all built that way…

"It wasn't for free," Ashner spoke to them, and the five women stood up slowly. "We're looking for demi's that are willing to help us grow food."

The five bunny girls glanced at each other. They all nodded in unison.

“That’s not for us to decide… But we’re willing to vouch for you… Your offer is something our tribal leader will hear out.”

After collecting the gold coins and dropping them off in the White Room, the group elected to leave the loose scattered coins since most of them got buried in the loose pedals. Even so, they managed to collect a fortune.

The demi’s led the way. Ashner and Risa walked with them while the rest of the group were in the Stryker.

"Wyverns have set up their hunting ground near here." The white-eared demi-bunny talked to Ashner. "Our leader sends us out in groups of five to gather water… The wyverns usually take some of us once a month… Due to that, we haven't had enough water to go around or enough food…"

“Where’s the wyvern’s nest?” Ashner asked. This made the demi’s stop. They studied each other until Risa spoke up.

"Wyvern's, dragons… Those types of monsters don't have nests. They roam the world freely."

“I wasn’t aware.”

So we can't just attack a dungeon and eradicate them… But they were strong. And, it's not like our Stryker can go into a cave.

One of the bunnies stopped and breathed heavily.

"Are you okay?" Ashner studied the bunny girl. She had black ears with white spots. Her eyes were a deep green. She tried to act strong, but Ashner handed her a snack from one of the MREs. He opened it up and gave it to her.

“What’s this?”

“It’s food, eat it.” Ashner glanced at all the girls. “When was the last time you ate something?”

“Two days ago.” She admitted. “Those wyverns have been attacking us for almost a year now.”

She took the snack and ate it quickly. As she munched away at it, Ashner handed each one of the girls a different portion of his MRE meal. Some got crackers, and one got a synthetic burger. All food Ashner wasn't a fan of, but food is food.

The demi's led them to a cave on the foot's edge of a mountain. The Stryker stopped, and the group dismounted.

“You live in this cave?" Risa asked the girls, and they shook their heads.

“This was once a dungeon. Our leader cleared it, and as she went through it, she discovered it connected to a secret land." The demi-bunnies waited for Ashner and the group to grab their items.

They locked up the armored vehicle and even put a camouflaged net over it. As soon as Gio turned a nob on the net, it activated the tech and made their ride invisible. The group took their weapons and followed the girls inside the large cave.

The temperature dropped inside, and drops of cold water dripped in all directions. Purple mushrooms with a yellow hue that glowed grabbed Wong's attention. He took a second to admire them then caught up to the rest of the group.

“She cleared this dungeon alone?” Ashner asked.

“Yes.” The bunny with white and black spots smiled at Ashner. “Her name is Violet, and she’s powerful.”

“She's impressive," Ashner admitted. As he did, the bunny girl slowed her pace. Her ears tilted to one side.

“What’s your name?” Twila was in the rear of the formation.

“I’m Saki.” The demi-bunny bowed. “Your party saved me… But I noticed you have slave crests.”

“These may be slave crests." Twila caressed her crest. Her chest perked up. "But our master gives us powers if we serve him well."

“What kind of powers?” Saki’s ears lifted.

“Walk with me, and I’ll tell you the story of when I met him.” Twila’s hand wrapped around Saki’s waist. “And how I learned that violence can serve the weak.”

*******

Light emerged, guiding the travelers into a new land. The demi-bunnies just about skipped towards it.

When Ashner's feet clinched the dry grass, he studied it and the scenery in front of him. A few homes were off in the distance, and dry farmlands were everywhere.

As they ventured deeper, the group took a heavy right formation. They helped the demi-bunnies, but who's to say they won't spring a trap on them? Ashner glanced up. Sunlight caressed the landscape, but in every direction, mountains were lifted high. It kept the demi's hidden from humans. Granted, if a wyvern flew directly above them, it might spot the village.

Ashner and Risa took point. Gio and Wong protected their flanks. Alex dashed behind everyone and became rear security.

Good, they’re getting used to our formation changes.

Then it happened. A young girl popped her head out. On top of it were bunny ears. Ashner lifted his palm up and prepared for the worst.

The bunny girl was cute and wore thin clothes. She gasped.

Good gasp or bad gasp?

The bunny girl was holding a pitchfork, which she used to farm. The girl studied the group with curious eyes.

“Visitors?” She tilted her head.

The group studied each other. That wasn’t something they were expecting.

Ashner stepped forward and lowered his weapon.

The demi’s they saved started talking to her. And she lit up.

“Follow me.” She smiled and skipped ahead of the group, urging them to follow her at a quick pace.

The group moved through the town, and heads with bunny ears were showing themselves one by one. All of them were cute, some were gorgeous, but they were all slim and curious.

“What’s going on?” Alex asked.

“We're about to find out. Keep your guard up.” Ashner commanded.

After a few minutes, while passing dozens of homes, some with laundry drying and others with dried up or dead vegetables growing in their front yards. The group ended up in the village’s center, where demi-bunnies surrounded them. None of them were armed, but they were heavily outnumbered. They had underestimated how many demi's the bunnies had.

“Welcome, travelers..” A demi with purple hair, purple ears, and a necklace with bright blue and green stones greeted the group. She wore an elaborate skirt that showed off her legs despite the cold air. And a crop top made of fur. Out of all the demi's, she had a healthy body. "My name is Violet. I'm the leader of what remains of the free bunnies."

Ashner studied the bunnies and then relaxed. They were no threat.

Ashner sipped on his Camelbak.

“My name is Ashner.”

"You're a human." The bunny girl's yellow eyes held a strong allure. Even the way she walked and moved dripped authority. "Is the war over?"

“Who knows," Luna answered. "Humans still capture and enslave our kind… But Ashner is our ally, and he's not involved with the humans trying to enslave all demi’s.”

“Yet you and every demi here have a slave crest on your bodies.” The bunny girl bared her fangs. “Who’s your master?”

“I am.” Ashner stepped forward.

The bunny girl took a few seconds to grasp the situation. “Take your mask off.”

“I'd rather not do that," Ashner spoke without any hesitation. "It's not a pleasant sight."

Not that, anything but that… I don’t want anyone to see it…

“It’s bad manners to refuse the request of a tribal leader… Now remove your mask or leave…”

Fuck…

Ashner reached for the clips on the sides of his mask. This mask was painted to match the colors of the pedals they were driving over.

Once he removed it, Luna, Risa, Twila, and Saki took a glance.

Come on, is this enough?

Ashner's eyes landed on Violet. She was visibly disgusted.

“You’re repulsive.” She half gagged her words. “I’d expect no less from a slaver.”

“Why don’t you shut your fucking mouth!” Wong stepped forward. His eyes flared.

"Wong." Ashner put his mask back on. Then, he lifted his hand towards Violet. "I'm sorry."

“Don’t apologize.” Wong glared at Ashner. “Instead of judging him for his looks, why don't you ask the demi under the crest's spell how he treats them? For a leader, you jump to conclusions too quickly.”

Violet shifted gears and studied the demi’s around Ashner. And one thing was clear. They were all glaring at her.

"This human has a mouth on him." The tribe leader paced toward Wong and then studied him. "What is your name?"

“Wong, I'm this group's medic.”

“A healer?”

“One of the best." Wong sized up Violet. She stood a head, and some change shorter than him, but she wasn't intimidated in the slightest. "We came here to negotiate, but if you're going to be a bitch to my friend, we'll leave and let your people starve."

“You can’t expect me to trust a slaver.” Violet’s eyes raged.

“Wong.” Ashner grabbed his shoulder. The moment he did, Wong took a few steps away from Violet. "Please, we're here to negotiate, not fight."

“Allow me to speak." Luna stepped forward. She was smiling, but it was just a mask to hide her rage. "I'm Luna, and I'm here on behalf of the elves and the demi-cows. We're willing to help your people out with food and shelter. It's obvious that you're people are starving and that the wyverns can find this site at any moment."

“Get to the point, Elf.”

“Look at your people." Luna and Violet studied the demi-bunnies. Most of them were sitting down. "Your people are on the verge of death. I understand that you're a young tribal leader, but they don't have your strength. If you choose to ignore our offer, your people will die… But should we decide to ask them to join us in exchange for a steady supply of food. Then how many do you think will remain loyal to you?"

Violet studied her people. Most of them were too weak to defend themselves, much less fight for her. “You’re a snake.”

"Call me what you want… We came here for allies. Push us, and we'll steal your clan out from under you." Luna smiled again, this time with no ill intent. "Strength brings loyalty, but power without compassion will only make you a tyrant. Think it through, drop your ego, and negotiate."

Luna has a knack for reading the room and people.

“I'll negotiate…” She glared at Wong. "If he does the negotiations, we’ll get nowhere… No one has ever degraded me as he has.”

Wong crossed his arms.

Seriously dude? Don’t blow this for us.

Ashner glared at Wong. The medic grasped the situation he put them in… He was usually calm and collected, but he lost his nerve when Violet insulted Ashner. He breathed in slowly.

“I won't apologize for what I said. But I will apologize for how I said it… You're the chief, so you deserve the respect of one.”

“I am the chief, but don’t misinterpret me.” She leaned closer to Wong and scoped her head up towards him since he was about a head taller than her. “Only men that desire death talk down to me. You're their leader, after all."

“I'm not the leader," Wong smirked. "Ashner is our leader."

“With a dreamy face and body like that?” Violet smirked. “What a shame.”

“Keep your hormones in check.” Wong rolled his eyes.

“Dude.” Gio broke the tension. “How did you not notice?”

Wong raised one eyebrow, glanced around, and raised both eyebrows.

“Luna… You failed to mention one thing…” Wong pivoted his head at the demi-bunnies.

“What did I fail to mention?” She debated his remark.

“Where are all the male demi-bunnies?”

A crowd had surrounded them, all demi-bunnies and all women. And all with one desire.

To mate.

All eyes were on Wong. Even starving, the lust was there. And Wong was their obvious target.

“Demi-bunnies are all female. They mate with other races to continue their line. They can only have females. That's why they were so essential on the battlefield. To relieve and relax the male soldiers.”

“Relax in what way?” Wong asked as the chieftain meddled with his face.

“Sex, of course… Demi-bunnies are known for their harvesting skills, their necessity in war, and their unquenchable sexual desires.” Wong slapped her hand away from his face. “And we desire strong and handsome men…”

“Oh… So you’re horn dogs.”

The chief studied Wong. “What do you want from us?”

“We’re creating a society that requires more people and food to survive, or it won't last the winter.”

“And what can you offer us?” She glared at Wong. “We've managed to survive on our own. Away from the war and from the monsters the Dead God creates.”

Wong sighed. "You need males. Considering the number of demi-bunnies that are currently surrounding us, your population has dwindled… And you lack weapons."

Ashner studied the bunnies around them. Only a few of the girls had weapons.

“That means you lack the means to gather or create weaponry… Had we been an invasion force, then your people would've been slaughtered or captured.”

The bunny girl smiled. She had a savagery to her. “You're smarter than most humans.”

"Intellect is a skill you hone, and it's why our society will succeed… With or without your people."

He's bluffing. We need her people… Wong, don't fuck this up.

The bunny girl circled Wong, taking in every inch of his body. “Our harvests have been dwindling these last couple of years. Some of my people blame the weather, but I know better… It's the Dead God. She's returning.”

“She?” Luna raised her eyebrow. “The Dead God is a male.”

"That's not what I've been taught." The woman tilted her head back, bringing up one ear. "But then again… Who can really say… I have an affinity with nature, so I have some incite… As should some of your kin… The plants of our world are becoming one with the Dead God, it’s rotting away beneath our very feet… In time, all the food will die out… And the Dead God will win… Do you have a solution for that problem?"

"We do." Wong reached into his backpack. He opened up a container and handed over a few seeds to Violet.

Violet's mana glowed green in her hand, and she smiled. "How is this possible? This plant isn't corrupted. It hasn't been blessed or cursed by any God…"

"We have more than that," Wong smirked. “Help us, and your population will grow.”

“Think it through." Luna smiled. "You're either going to be the last chieftain of the demi-bunnies, or you'll become renowned for saving your people."

“Snake, with venom…” The chieftain debated her options. “We’ll help you… If you meet some of our demands.”

“What are your demands?” Ashner asked.

“Protection, weapons, and permission for us to choose whatever male we want.”

“The first two are possible, but we won't force anyone to do anything.”

“Then I want a single request, one that will determine the future of our relationship.” She studied Wong. “I want him to sire my children.”

Everyone eyed Wong. Gio did it with envy, and Ashner debated it for a few seconds.

“Done.” Ashner smiled.

“WHAT!” Wong’s resolve broke. “I’M NOT A HARLOT!”

"SHUT UP!" Ashner lashed out, and once again, his jealousy seeped out like melted chocolate. "You took it upon yourself to challenge Violet, and you will deal with the consequences… Even if those consequences are awesome!”

Wong crossed his arms. “I don’t have to like it.”

“Oh, don’t bullshit me.” Ashner grabbed his shoulder. “If you’re pissed off, let it all out when you’re fucking her.”

Wong smirked. “Alright, I accept your conditions, Violet. But from what I learned about your people, you push away children from their fathers and raise them alone… I won't allow it, and if I'm going to give you children, then I want to be in their lives.”

Violet shrugged. “The conditions are met. Traveling is going to be difficult for our people.”

“Actually.” Luna paced off with Violet, explaining their predicament in greater detail. “We have a room that my Master calls the White Room.”

“Will you knock it off with the glares?" Wong sighed at Ashner and Gio. “It’s not like I chose to be their stallion.”

Gio chucked. “Dude… You better get that girl off. If you don't, I'm relatively sure she's going to chop your dick off.”

“You act as if I've never fornicated before." Wong tilted his head up. "I fucking hate women like her… But I won't argue. She'll kill me if things don't go her way…"

“I hate you.” Ashner mustered his words meekly. “I want to have women throwing themselves at me…”

Ashner's slaves tilted their heads. This was an odd argument.

“Will you quit it with your attitude?” Wong tapped Ashner’s head. “You’ll get your chance soon.”

“I love that you lie to keep me happy.” Ashner blew him a kiss. “Marry me.”

“Oh, fuck you.” Wong rolled his eyes.

Gio blew him a kiss, too. "Sire, my children."

“Fuck you too!” Wong dropped his shoulders.

Alex blew him a kiss… And said nothing… The guys stared at him for about ten seconds, waiting for him to say something.

“Well?” Gio studied the demi-dog.

“Well, what?”

"You're supposed to take a jab at him or make fun of him."

"But that's mean." Alex's ears dropped.

“Go on.” Wong exhaled slowly. “Get it over with.”

Alex took a second to reply, unsure if he should roll with it. “Um… Your eyes are like the stars… Because they twinkle…”

Wong pouted.

Alex was so happy his tail wagged quickly.

Gio and Ashner burst out laughing.

“That’s not how it works.” Wong walked up to Alex and explained to him in detail the art of dissing your friends.

*******

The inside of Violet's home was very spartan, bare with just the necessities. When Wong entered her room, he questioned if this was a good idea.

“Doctor Wong.” She studied her prey. “I’ve never given birth to any children. And I’ve never met a man with a body that comes close to yours.”

“Flattery will get you nowhere.” Wong took off his gear and placed his weapon to his side, keeping them neatly together. “I’m here to give you my cum, nothing more, nothing less…”

“Is that how you talk to a chieftain?”

"No, that's how I talk to a woman who belittles others." He took a step towards her, still wearing his cargo pants and top. Violet sensed some malice and stepped back, bumping against the corner of her room. Next to her was the bed and a fireplace. "You may have power over your people, but I couldn't care less about you or what you want."

“We will never see eye to eye… But, maybe our bodies will complement one another."

The bunny’s eyes flared, and Violet removed her linen skirt and top. They didn't wear underwear. And she wasn't shy about it. Even if she was the leader, her body was skinny like the rest of her people. “Take your clothes off.” She ordered.

Wong didn’t want to admit it, but if Violet was filled up to a healthy weight. Wong would lust after her. Just in body, he barely tolerated her personality. Even so, Wong complied and took his shirt off. He hid a slim but toned body. Then his pants came off. Violet pouted. Not because his size displeased her but because he wasn't hard.

She walked up towards him and grabbed his dick hard enough to make him moan in pain. "You're determined to make this as unpleasant as possible."

Wong flared his nostrils. “Yes, I’m only here because you wanted someone to fuck… Do you expect me to be okay with that?”

“Shut up… You worthless boy…”

Something in Wong snapped. He gripped her throat and slammed her against the wall. “Listen to me, Violet. When we’re naked, you do not control me… No one does… I'm sick of your attitude, so you're going to shut up and listen for once…”

Her body squirmed as she tried to fight back until she did something Wong hadn't expected.

She smiled.

“Yes… Degrade me more…”

“Of course, that's what you're into… You're lucky we need your people. Someone like you isn't even worth a second glance… Consider it a blessing that I'm allowing you to look at me…”

“I'm not worthy of you…" Her face burned red with lust, and she smirked. “Doctor Wong… It seems you’ve gotten hard.” Her free hand started stroking him.

He tossed her on the bed, making her bounce once. “Did I give you permission to touch me?”

“No…” She shook.

“At least you’re not a liar.” He spread her legs and gripped her throat. “Don’t you dare look at me until I’m done.”

Violet closed her eyes, and her legs shook with anticipation.

He slid inside her, and immediately, Violet started moaning with her tongue out.

“Worthless bitch of a demi… Will you spread your legs for anyone?”

“Yes!” She lied.

Wong sensed himself getting harder, even if he didn't admit it. He was enjoying this situation.

“Insult me again, and next time we'll do this in front of your subjects… Maybe if your people saw you acting like the desperate whore you truly are, it'll put you in your place."

“Forgive me!” She moaned and glanced at Wong. “I promise I’ll be good… Please don’t stop…”

“Did I say you can look at me?” He slapped her face, which earned him a cute yelp, and she tightened around his junk. “Never disobey me again… Or I’ll leave…”

“Please don’t leave…”

“Right now, you're my toy… And I decide if you're worth keeping or if you should be thrown away.”

Each thrust made Violet moan in ecstasy. From his body to his moans, she loved every second of it. She wrapped her legs around Wong's waist. Permitting him to go deeper. Even with her eyes closed, they just about rolled back with the pleasure.

“I’m gonna cum!”

“You better not…” Wong warned. “You don’t deserve that pleasure…”

She bit her lip and tried holding it back…

It didn’t work…

She moaned and squirted her juices around Wong’s legs.

Violet fought to catch her breath until she recalled something… Wong had told her not to cum…

She had just disobeyed… Violet took a risk and eyed Wong… And sure enough, he was pissed…

“Worthless bunny bitch…”

Wong grabbed the blanket and wrapped her arms around it. Then he pinned her face against the bed and started fucking her from behind.

“Forgive me!” Her voice echoed in her room, but Wong showed her no mercy. He kept that pace the entire night and until early in the morning.

After that day, Violet never once disrespected Ashner again.

*******

A single large spider dashed across a new cave. When it entered through a tight gap, the entrance collapsed behind her. It sniffed the air. Her belly was full of eggs. So, it was her duty to ensure her lineage breathed free air. She made her way towards the heart of the cave.

The instincts given to her by the Dead God. That’s where she laid her eggs. She curled up in a stone to overlook her nest, and a pillar emerged from the ground. With a living, beating black heart.

The monster studied it with curiosity. Mana emerged from it and merged itself into her being. The mana ripped out of her body, and that's when her body shifted. She grew wider and larger, and her upper torso started bubbling.

A humanoid figure ripped out from her spider body. Her eyes were still that of a spider, but now she had them on her human head. Then, her black hair ran down her back and covered her exposed chest. She moved her new hands and savored her new power. She thanked the Dead God in a dreadful laugh.

She was the dungeon's new Master. Next to her, the heart hid itself under the earth.

A new Dungeon emerged, but she was trapped.

The eggs hatched. Each the size of an ice chest. But to survive in the closed-off cave she lived in, her children became her prey. Her hands ripped into them, and her teeth devoured them.

Their flavor was foul. She ate them quickly before they turned to black smoke and left behind a single coin.

She spat the coin out on top of a massive pile she had collected over the years.

Her claws from her lower spider body clawed on the wall. She was tired of the taste of spiders. Inside her, the desire to devour new flesh grew. Two giant spiders walked around her. These two were more sizeable than her, each as tall as a box truck. They were allowed to live since they were born with thicker armor. Her children scattered around the cave. They were prey trapped in a cavern.

The queen’s stomach rumbled.

She needed to feed. Her leg continued to scratch the wall.

It was time to feed.

Her claws dug deep into the cold wall.

Spider flesh once more. Foul meat she was tired of.

Her leg broke through the wall, and it collapsed outward.

Fresh air entered her cavern. She had spent years trapped in her cave.

The queen savored the new aroma in the air. Something sweet to her nostrils. A new type of meat, a new prey.

She stepped into the new world and glanced to her left. The armored Stryker was outside, still camouflaged. That truck was heavy with metal, and no warmth reached her. It wasn't alive.

The Drider desired new flesh, One that won’t disappear in her mouth after a few bites.

The aroma of fresh meat made her mouth water.

The queen laughed, this time as any human would.

Finally, some meat.

With a wave of her hand, her children scattered towards the unsuspecting demi-bunny village.
