Her face pale, she pushed her big claws towards the strike, then flew a hundred meters away!

Casting a glance at the chasing army of ghosts, the goat senior sister gulped. Her eyes turned steely, and a roar boomed out of her.

Goat senior sister cast a glare at Li Ao.

‘’Don’t steal my lines!’’

While they leaped over to another room, Li Ao heard a voice in his head.

‘Don’t stop moving! Your senior brother will get Captain Karim and others to your location!’

His eyes sparkling, Li Ao looked at goat senior sister.

‘’You heard that!?’’

‘’I did!’’

‘’Then go!’’

‘’GO!’’

As if waiting for them to shout, another volley rained around them.

Goat senior sister seemed too agile for her stature. She kept pulling the chains to her device—her body turned left and right, swung as if uncontrolled, yet somehow evaded every single strike without ever looking where they came from.

Once in a while, Li Ao heard a faint buzz coming from her ear.

He, however, did not have much chance to pay attention.

Being on the ground, as well as the source of the commotion, most of the attacks aimed at where he stood.

At this point, even Golden Maw couldn’t resist everything.

Even then, Li Ao didn’t dare to take out Bubbles, his greatest defense.

If she were to be knocked away, he wouldn’t be able to retrieve her back.

As such, he kept leaping and rolling and stomping his way out of these attacks, Walls cracked around them, floor shattered, and the duo descended through several floors in a storm of light and deafening explosions.

Sliding over broken boulders, Li Ao leaped out of the way and rolled again. The Goat Senior Sister flew right after him into another hallway and pushed herself even higher in the sky.

Yet, apart from six Core Formation cultivators, almost all of them were Nascent Soul!

Those leading the charge were the 3rd-rank Agents, Soul Formation Cultivators!

As fast as light, the golden sun shot past Li Ao and exploded right on top of the charging army!

The two sides met in a terrific collision. Bodies exploded left and right, walls caved around them, the ceiling cracked, and the entire army was thrown into instant disarray!

The pair of Golden Suns began to shatter several floors and walls. Each of their strikes caused more and more of the spirits to be buried under heavy rubble.

Nascent Soul Cultivators whistled past Li Ao as he duelled with another armored spirit. The residual pressure made the ghost stumble—Li Ao shot forward, his eyes flashed deep blue, and stabbed at the gap between its sword’s handguard to pierce the helmet!

The spear cut through its hidden head and ash exploded out of his body.

Ignoring the blinking notifications, Li Ao ducked under several magical spells and cut at other servants in his way.

Random spells rained on him, swords and limbs shot his way, and he met them head on, laughing as he did!

Most strikes got caught within Silver Mist, so he rushed around, trying to reduce the number as much as he could. Slash, stab, sweep—bit by bit he got accustomed to manoeuvring within a crowd.

Above him, Goat Senior Sister fired another mechanical tool at the crowd, pouring out constant explosions over them in a frenzied laugh. Then, eyes glinting, she took out a one meter sphere and loaded it into another gigantic tube.

Laughing, her voice melodious, she shouted at him.

‘’Watch the floor!’’

‘’Huh—waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!’’

A black flash shot at the ground and exploded into a shower of fireworks!

The shockwave cleared a hundred servants and sent cracks running through the unstable floor.

With another shockwave from Nascent Soul cultivators, the floor shattered— Li Ao fell through it with three armored spirits!

They flew at the spinning Li Ao, swinging sharp arcs of their swords.

‘’You retard!’’

‘Did that motherfucker break the floor under me on purpose!?’

These people had no consideration for those on the ground!

Scalp tingling, Li Ao twisted his waist to avoid a slash.

Other two stabbed through silver mist into his shoulders, then a fourth strike appeared overhead.

Another eight armed lady had descended upon him, falling alongside the floor.

Clenching his muscles, Li Ao trapped the blades within his shoulders and caught the armored spirits from their throats.

Pressured by constant booms and residual aura of strong cultivators, these skilled warriors couldn’t escape his superior speed that easily.

The bloody aura turned into a shower of vengeful, screeching ghosts.

Li Ao pushed the spirits in front of him, but before they met the strike, lizardman senior flashed past and crushed the eight-armed spirit into pieces!

Flashing next to him, the lizard senior cast a greedy look at his caught prey.

Even then, they were falling through a dozen floors carved by other agents.

‘’You’re killing them?’’

Li Ao knew he couldn’t kill these two without a sharp weapon, so he let them go.

The lizard senior pierced their throats with two swipes of his hand. All ash poured on Li Ao, who got caught by the collar and thrown up to the main confrontation site.

It had taken four minutes for the group of two dozen cultivators to clear out the army of twenty thousand.

Of course, two Soul Formation and almost two dozen Nascent Soul and Core Formation Cultivators wasn’t something to be trifled with.

Also, the path was narrow, and the ghosts weren’t exactly coordinated.

A properly trained army of that size could contend with these agents on even field.

But this was no even field.

Sighing at the great destruction—the mountains of ash pouring down the cracked walls and holes, Li Ao glanced at the two suns hovering above, as well as the group of two dozen. Li Ao stood straight and saluted the man.

‘’First-level Dark Foundation, Four Mountains realm?’’

‘’Yes sir!’’

Kertl put an arm around his shoulder. ‘’Boy, is that all you know to say?’’

‘’What else do I say?’’

Hissing in laughter, the man pointed at the group of high-looking—sorry looking wounded mighty cultivators.
