Go somewhere else, find the documents or get some kind of recommendations if you are unable to find said documents. Now piss off, I got work to do”
The receptionist of the adventure guild told the two of Us with a pissed off voice,
She seemed to be having a bad day
But that didn't matter. No IDs, No license No license, No starting MY New Life!
Stuff got out of hand quick.
I tried to negotiate with her, But it was to no avail, I tried to think of something To get her to make an exception but nothing seemed to work after all, Even when I told her our stuff was stolen in our way here, She Just replied
“ …If not for that girl besides you I would've had you got escorted to the authorities, You look like A thief, And if you want to be treated like one keep on doing what you are trying to do”
I was pissed, But I couldn't do much, Nor could I act on it. This woman seemed to be having a hard time of her own, And complicating things won't get us anywhere (And those who just let their anger out on normal everyday workers, Are basically the worst. considering everything I didn't go that route)

After all hope was lost Mei and I went outside, sat down and started to talk about the situation at hand
“.... So we're gonna starve to death... Aren't we?”

It was sudden but I couldn't control it, And just like that my frustrations started talking.
After you keep going on the slippery slope of bad Stuff after bad Stuff. Positive thoughts may leave and start to be replaced by Negative ones A LOT Of negative ones.

Although Mei seemed to feel bad, I kinda kept going and let my frustrations on her,

I thought to myself, Even if I go act like Bastards do and let it all on Her it changes nothing, We will always be in this situation no matter what.
“.... Sigh, Alright then at least give me some ideas and stuff I am listening, Even if it is dumb I don't care, So please help me out here, Things started to get to my head”
I loosened up a bit, and let go of anger and frustration. Even if Mei is still going to be someone bringing troubles to Me, it is what it is. My luck Sucks any way I am used to this stuff, And it kinda also said Luck fault too for Us to end up in this situation I think.
“... She said a Recommendation, didn't she?”
“Yeah, And wha.... THAT'S IT! THAT'S IT! How did this escape my mind?? Mei wait here I will be back”
I hurried back to the guild to ask about the recommendation part, And what they told me is; The system is kinda complicated but if you want the easy way to get accepted you just need someone trusted by the guild to recommend you, And you will be all set!
You may need to work for that person For like 3 months and be on your best behavior while you are in it, to not get ' Deported'.
The guild recommended a woman by the name of ' Frig' , A person That works with the guild in various fields, They told me She usually likes to help people!
Miss Frig can help Us find someone to recommend us, And if she really likes us she may recommend us herself!
(Although she mysteriously ran away from the guild after she took her first step inside today)
They gave us her shop location and the time when she works!
To why they treated me nicer this time was simply a sort of an apology for the behavior of The receptionist.
Saying she's having a bad Time and if we turn out to not be criminals They hoped for us to forgive her. And forgiveness my heart was filled with!
Till We started to look For this ‘Frig’,
I started to have mixed feeling,
She can't be found no matter where We look. We've gotten to her shop, She isn't there we asked around and although she is usually an easy person to meet and find, For Us it Wasn't like that at all.
(They also told us she said something about not coming back to her shop for a while too)
We looked all day long, Night Fall and midnight was on Us Yet still nothing, I was tired as Hell. I leaned on A big house wall, And told Mei;
“I guess this is the detective curse... Or just my luck..”
“Yeah, Your luck suck, YOU Suck”
“You should confront me, And redeem yourself You useless Shit”
“ I wasn't finished, As I was saying You Suck! But I guess I also Suck too, So don't feel bad... How's this, Good enough?”
I looked at Mei attempt and I wasn't that impressed
“3 out of 10 if I am being generous, 2 if am being fair, 1 if I am being honest And Minus 100 if you happened to piss me off one more time”
“... I guess good enough”
Our bickering continued for a while till Mei told me that's it's time to sleep, I told her that's it's early and we still can keep going, But she insisted, And told me;
“Even if we end up finding her, It's late and we will only end up annoying her, And just like that she may refuse to help us,
Besides, didn't they tell you that she may not return to her shop for a couple of days? Was it?
She could've been out of town as far as we know, So let us stop for the night”
As I was preparing to camp outside like we always do Mei told me;
“Do you know what the best part is?
I found a Place!”
“...You ate those weird mushrooms again?
Come here I will help you puke it out”
I signaled her to come closer as I pulled my sleeves up
But Mei just told me to follow her,
I didn't want to at first because it felt weird. But I ended up doing it after she disappeared into the Darkness of the night, not wanting her to go out of my sight and make troubles that will probably be put on me(I have a strong feeling that may happen) I just did. and I am kinda happy I did!
Because and for what felt like the first time she was useful!
“ Behold Peasant, Our New House!”
Mei turned to me and opened her arms wide, to reveal A huge Tree!
I usually don't get excited over a big tree,
But this one was Strangely shaped like it used to Carry A House before or something, And although there seemed to be some sort of Sign In the ground that was removed very recently I didn't care much, And I made myself comfortable and went Above it.
And Just like that the 'first' day in this new wonderful world, Past By sleeping on a Tree.
Well it was big and comfortable, too good in fact, with its weird shape at the top, We slept soundly, waiting for death to end Our certainly
upcoming misery…

It's funny how humans can quickly accept Shit if they went through enough shit already.
