Chapter 15:Encountered

The Mirror's Trap and the Severed Path

Jazz's heart pounded in her chest as Raven's words echoed through the chamber. Her grip on her staff tightened.

"Prius! Quickly!" she shouted, urgency clear in her voice.

Prius reacted instantly. "Divine Cloth!" A shimmering energy enveloped Jazz, her movements now fluid and swift. She wasted no time.

"Burning Will!" she roared, her staff radiating an intense heat. A torrent of blazing fire surged forth, aimed directly at Raven.

But before her very eyes, the flames bent—redirected mid-air. The inferno struck an unforeseen target: a massive, mirror-like entity that had seemingly materialized before Raven.

"The Elemental Mirror General…" Jazz muttered in shock.

Raven smirked. "So, it was you after all."

The Mirror General absorbed the Burning Will's energy, its polished surface gleaming ominously. Then, as if in mockery, the creature sent the attack hurtling back toward Jazz. She barely managed to evade, rolling to the side as searing flames scorched the ground where she had stood.

Raven crossed his arms. "I will watch you again and again… as you struggle, overwhelmed by the Mirror and The Chieftain."

Breaking the Signal, Shattering the Plan

On the other side of the battlefield, Patty acted quickly, grasping the remote that had been given to them by Data. His fingers moved swiftly over the buttons—

But before he could activate it, Raven blurred into motion. A chilling slash cut through the air, and in an instant, Patty's scream rang out.

His hand—along with the remote—fell to the ground, severed in a single merciless stroke.

"Patty!" Ford shouted in horror as blood splattered across the cold dungeon floor. Patty collapsed to his knees, clutching the stump where his hand had been. His breath came in ragged gasps, his face contorted in pain.

The remote shattered upon impact, its components scattering across the floor in a useless heap.

"Damn it!" Jazz gritted her teeth, staring at Raven in fury. "You bastard—"

DATA Center Floor 20- Each Floor Wisdom clan have their own Data Center That Connecting all floor

Far away, in another location, Data and Techno jolted as their sensors detected an alert.

"Signal lost," Techno muttered grimly. "The remote has been destroyed."

Data's expression darkened. "That means… they're in serious trouble."

Data quickly analyzed the floor's status when he noticed the signal had been lost. His eyes widened in alarm—nearly all passages from Floor 1 to 50 had been opened.

"No… this isn't natural," Data muttered, his fingers flying over the keyboard. "A sudden surge of energy… That's what caused it. Something—or someone—is forcing these floors open all at once."

Before he could react further, a message alert flashed on his screen.

It was from Uno, the Chairman of the Adventurer's Hall.

"Emergency! A dragon has been encountered!"

Data clenched his fists, rapidly typing commands to close as many passages as he could. But even with his speed, his Tech Three wasn't enough to seal them all. Another alert flashed across his screen.

A single ominous message: "Where is the Zombie King?"

Data froze. "Zombie King…? That's impossible. He can't be back…"

Before he could respond, his entire system shut down, the screen flickering into darkness.

Data gritted his teeth. "I must first save the adventurers on Floor 20."

Desperation fueled his actions as he attempted to access the remaining remote handled by Ford's party. He watched the loading bar crawl forward at a frustrating pace.

"What?!" Data exclaimed. "The signal is also disrupted… current connection: 10%."

Suddenly, Data turned to Techno. "Check the Dungeon Gate! Something's interfering with the signal."

Techno nodded and swiftly departed to investigate. A few minutes later, his voice crackled through the comms.

"Data! The Dungeon Gate is surrounded by an Electric Surge Field. That's why our connection is so slow!"

Data's jaw tightened. "Damn it… Current connection: 20%. We don't have time for this."

The Battlefield's Divide

Back at the dungeon, Raven sat lazily on a nearby stone, watching the chaos unfold. He smirked, his voice cold and sharp.

"If you try to run or pull something like that mage did… I will slice your remaining body into pieces."

His words sent a chill down the spines of the adventurers.

Ford tightened his grip on his sword, stepping forward. "We'll handle the Elemental Mirror General. Hanzo, you and the others—buy us time against the Warchief until we finish this thing."

Hanzo let out a deep sigh, adjusting his stance. "Do we even have another choice?"

The battle was far from over.
