A three days later, his body recovered and as discharged from the hospital, after with he started his school life.
Past life was not good to him when it come to his grades as it was always below average and above fail mark, yet it was even more useless in this world as the curriculum in this world did not have English, math's as part of any subjects.
While he was attending classes, time slowing passed. 3th of April arrived in the blink of an eye. Just as the evening classes were going to end, headmaster walked in.
“All children be silent; I have something to announce”
The headmaster was a middle-aged man, named Edward Blake. “We all that the Astral trials will begin tomorrow. I believe all of you are looking forward to it, but l would like to remind everyone not to except and place too much hope in it”
“The chances of an Astral lord appearing is a thousand to one!”
“Hence, for the vast majority of us, its just walk in park, so do not deviate from our goal, which is to pass the college entrance exam”
“So, do you understand?”
Edward looked at everyone in the class.
“Yes, Sir!”
Everyone answered loudly, but hope was still burning in their eyes and their heart.
Headmaster saw this could not help but sigh. what could he do, Astral Lords were representing the top of the world, they could jump up the social ladder overnight and change the fate of one own and their family.
……..
Early next morning, the school ground was filled with students, as all the Riverstone high school’s third years have arrived.
“Oi, Simon, I’m nervous!”
Simon’s good friend, Ivan Tarnell was nervous, because his family background was ordinary, but he was easy-going and righteous. So, he got along with Simon, and their relationship was good.
“Ivan, chill. If you are fated for greatness, then you will get it. if not, then I would not matter” Simon comforted him.
Even when he was comforting him, he too was nervous as well.

When the hour hand hit nine on the clock everyone felt uneasy, as headmaster, as well as other school teacher escorted a group of people up the stage on the school ground.
Some of them carried some instruments and placed them on the prepared table.
As everyone settle down on the stage, the headmaster looked at the sea of student as he walked to the podium, he voiced out loud,
“Today the Astral Trials. First, let us all welcome our important guest with warn of applause, the manager of the WoodLong Astral company’s Riverstone Base City branch, Mister Mark Wilson and his team.
The WoodLong Astral company was one of the top 300 companies in Bharat and its branches covered many base cities in this country. It was all so considered strong in the Riverstone Base City.
And to be the general manager of the Riverstone Base City branch, Mark Wilson was definitely an Astral Lord himself.
“Hello, students!”
Mark Wilson gave the student a simple greeting and the trials officially began.
The testing equipment were a combination of floating helmet and a super computer behind it which was connect to it, there were total of ten equipment.
With the guidance of WoodLong’s staff, they put the helmets on and started the trials.
“Are this device to test if someone has Astral skills? they should be expensive”
“Yes, they are, its super expensive even if you sell yourself you can’t pay for it”
“You think? The device is made out of two components, a smart computer and a floating helmet. Once we put on the floating helmet, our minds will be drawn into a virtual realm by the computer, and we’ll experience some extreme situations!”
“At the same time, a special silver needle on the helmet will stimulate the pineal gland at the front of our brain and input the Astral energy into it.”
Student talked around themselves.
Then the next moment, all ten students screamed as the encountered something unusual. Some were crying, some were showing despair, some were excited….
Their expression was varying but all were extreme.
Simon was secretly amazed. Seeing everything that machine was doing to student for awakening their Astral skills.
But of course, only those with nature talents would awaken. For other that did not have any talent for Astral energy will not awaken.
“Wonder if these ten students have Astral skills”
Simon watched the ten students carefully trying to notice any change, and all other student did the same, as they hold onto their hands nervously.
As it was first time for most people to watch Astral trial up close, and it might also be their last time too.
Unknowingly, a minute passed, and aside from screaming the ten students showed no other abnormal behavior.
“They have no talent!” Mark Wilson shook his head and commanded the staffs to stop the trial.
“Next Batch”
The school had long gotten accustomed to this, as there were only handful of people that can awaken to start with and in the previous years, the number people who awakened can be counted in one hand. In fact, some years there had not been any at all.
And this year’s trials had only just begun, so it would be impossible for them to strike something yet, so they had wait patiently
“Next batch”
“Next batch”
“Next batch”
“Next batch…..”
….
….
…
…
As the sun rose increasingly higher while the student waited nervously under the scorching sun.
when the sun was at its highest, ten classed have completed their trial, in which non have awakened Astral skills.
Seeing which many students gradually despaired.
“Damn, the probability is just too low!”
Simon secretly anxious cursed. Even his confidence as a reincarnated Main character was slowly wavering, seeing that not one person has awakened in ten classed worth of students.
“Simon, I think it our turn next!”
