He had already visited two places located nearby his home. The first one was the lake in the North and the second one was the river in the East.
Now, he only had two locations left, ruins in the West and the deeper region of the forest in the South.
He decided to cross off the deeper regions from his plan. He felt too weak to visit it. So, it only left him with the ruins on the west.
He took off and started heading west. He began observing everything.
This journey was different from the previous ones. Unlike the last two locations, he could view towering pillars, giant blocks, and empty spaces. It felt as if something had been moved from those spaces.
He was not stupid enough to just rush in. So, he decided to scout the outer region first.
The entire ruin was separated into four smaller ruins, one in each direction.
He scouted each smaller ruin individually. It had a height of a skyscraper and the size of a period.
After an hour of careful inspection, he figured out something.
"They aren't different ruins. They are different parts of the same ruin."
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
"Just one of them is so massive. I cannot even fathom its size if they were to be put together."
Despite their massive size, it seemed as if they were forcefully torn apart by something. "What the hell even caused this ?"
Once he was done scouting the outer region, he went inside one of the ruins.
There were various compartments inside the ruin. However, there was nothing left in the compartments, and neither were there any signs of life. And the ruins had been overtaken by nature.
All the structures were covered by green moss or various other forms of plant life.
He went to the next compartment, he was greeted by the same sight. Three of the ruins had the same structure inside.
"Let's check the fourth."
He flew inside the fourth structure. He was greeted by the same empty compartments inside. However, there was a giant entry door in the deeper regions of the ruin.
He tried to get in using force. However, nothing happened. He had used his full force, yet there weren't even scratch marks at the door.
"Just what is this thing made off? My attacks didn't even leave scratch marks?" He was dumbfounded.
Even after thousands of his attempts, the door remained stronger than ever.
"Well, I gave my best. But, there is nothing to be done about it."
He flew out with disappointment.
"Let's see how this looks from the sky."
He flew up to get a full view.
"I don't even know what this is." He had never seen such structure in his life.
Putting the ruin aside, he could see the changes in the land near it.
It looked as if the ruin had been dragged from its original place.
He followed the drag marks and made his way into the area of impact.
There, he saw a large crater. Large would be an understatement for its size.
It was wide as a lake.
Water had filled the crater and it looked like a natural lake.
Deep down, he knew it was anything but natural.
This trip had been an eye-opener for him.
