My consciousness returns, but I can't open my eyes, I can barely breathe, and my body feels very heavy and warm.
Ugh, what's happening? I gather all my strength and stand up. 2 were on my head, and 3 were on my back.
I should name them because it's quite confusing.
We are back in the cave. Has Mother brought us home? And where did our injuries go?
I didn't have time to think during the fight, but somehow I feel a little bigger and stronger.
I feel something strange inside me—maybe magic or something?
2 is sleeping, and 3 is sitting and staring at me again.
Mother lifts her head from the ground and looks at me, and the little ones sleep on mom.
She growls at me to go there. I go over, and she pokes me with her head and starts cleaning me.
Are we like cats? I have never cleaned myself because Mom did it, but I might try it.
While mom cleans me, I start thinking of names for my siblings.
Okay, so start with 2 and let her name be Lupa.
The 3 name will be Ulmer, and the 4 will be Uma.
5 names are Havoc, and 6 are Nala.
Okay, I like it, but what will my name be? Okay, I know my name will be Yara.
Mother stopped licking me and laid back on the ground. Oh, mom, is my cleaning done?
but I feel a little hungry. I growl at my mother and ask if I can go, and I look at her questioningly.
She growled back, and I don't see that it bothers her, so I think I can go.
I can see that Lupa and Ulmer were quite worn out by the fight, so I'll leave them alone now.
I haven't been in any of the cave passages yet, so it's time to explore.
I started to go towards one of the passages where I heard water splashing.
I went in, and the whole passage gradually narrowed and was full of moss, but the sound of the water got louder and louder.
Ugh, one of my paws got caught in some long rope plant. Grr, I growl.
I try to bite the plant and tear it off my paw, but it curls up and wraps around my whole hind leg.
What the hell is this? It wraps around me more and more, not squeezing me, but I can't take it off myself.
This stupid plant annoys me. Anyway, something will happen with this plant, and I will continue the exploration.
I keep walking in the passage, but it will be more and more winding. Will it suddenly end?
I can't go any further because, literally, there's nothing; there's a hole in front of me.
I see light in the cave, even though I'm quite high up in the wall. Something is lighting down there.
and I can hear the sound of the water below. I go closer to the edge and look down.
There's a damn big open space with a lot of rope-like plants running along the walls that light up.
Small fruits hang from the lighting plants, and there are holes in the wall everywhere. I think they are all passages.
stalactites on the cave top, and under is a lake; the entire ground at the edge of the lake is covered with moss and little houses.
Fairies skin was dark brown; they had three red eyes, horns, and black wings like butterflies.
Oh, they look scary. I accidentally kicked a stone, which fell into the lake with a loud noise.
All the fairies suddenly looked at me, and they all started buzzing like flies.
This is not good. A fairy appears behind me; I get scared and fall into the lake.
haha I'm a real pro at dog swimming; I'm a wolf after all.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
The fairies start throwing fruit at me, and I growl loudly at them.
I swam ashore with great difficulty. I shake myself out and start jumping on them.
I caught one of the low-flying fairies in my mouth.
All fairies immediately stop and start making strange noises.
A larger fairy descends to the ground in front of me and hands me a fruit and making strange sounds.
The fairy tries to get out of my mouth, but it only gets stabbed by one of my teeth.
I look questioningly at the bigger fairy and growl.
It trembles but starts to wave the fruit.
Do you want to exchange? I spit out the fairy and ate the fruit.
Oh, what is this? I feel very warm again, as if something is changing inside me. I felt this when I killed the rabbits.
How would it feel if I ate the fairies? Oh, the big fairie trembles a little, and I see the fear in its eyes.
I put my paw on the trembling fairy on the ground and growled at the big one to bear more fruit.
Let's call the big fairy the leader. The leader makes strange noises, and all the fairies start picking fruit and bringing it to me.
Maybe the little fairy is a child or something.? They put the fruits in front of me, and I ate all the fruits.
Ugh, suddenly my whole body starts to hurt, and the pleasant warmth becomes burning hot. I start whining and fall to the ground.
As soon as they saw that I was in pain, they took the little one, and they all flew away.
and everything goes dark again.
I wake up and open my eyes. It takes me a few moments to understand what happened.
Why did I faint? Why are my paws bigger? I get up, walk to the lake, and look into it.
I see a wolf bigger than I was and two small, shining purple horns on the forehead.
shining purple eyes without pupils and black fur with purple patterns
Okay, I think I've changed a bit. I'm about twice as big as I was.
and I forgot that stupid plant is still wrapped around my left back leg.
but I feel much stronger, and I have a strange feeling inside me.
I look around and see the fairies flying high and staring at me. I feel a little sorry for them.
I'm going under the passage I came from; it is quite high.
I stand on two legs and try to push my claw into the wall and climb up.
I climb surprisingly easily, I climb into the passage.
and I start walking back to our cave, but I had to pull myself up quite a bit because I overgrew the passage a little.
I slowly squeezed my way out of the passage and back into our cave.
My siblings are not here, but Mom started walking towards me.
She stopped a few steps in front of me and looked all over me.
She growls at me, pulls me down to the ground, and starts to clean me.
Well, I see that she doesn't really mind my change, but that she doesn't care so much. In this world, is this normal or what?
She ends my clenching, then looks at my leg. She looks at me strangely because she sees the plant on me.
I growl that the plant does not want to come down on me.
She bites into the plant and rips it off, but immediately coils back on my leg like a snake.
She tears it off again, but the plant returns.
She gets up and, offended, goes to the other part of the cave and lies down to sleep.
Ah, why is she acting like it's my fault?
Ah, nevermind, I also curled up and fell asleep.
