Jack was working at a fast food restaurant. It had been many years since he was beaten up in middle school. He had graduated high school and moved to New York in order to make a living, however, he could only find work at a Cheesy Town.
“How may I help you” Jack said in his most polite manner of speaking.
“Can I have a triple cheesy macaroni burger meal”
“What drink would you like with that” Jack replied as he had done thousands of times before.
“A large soda”
*beep* *boop* *beep* a series of buttons were pushed in rapid succession “The cost comes to a total of seven dollars and sixty seven cents”
Jack was sure that Peter had sabotaged his attempts to get a job other places. When he was being interviewed for other jobs he was sure that he never had a chance for being hired. The way his interviewers looked at him with contempt made him sure that they had previously been paid off to not hire him. Jack had no doubt in his mind that Peter was behind it, because Peter was always behind it.
“How may I help you” Jack smiled as he greeted the next customer.
“Can I have a Hunky Chunky Super Burger with extra sardines and onions but no lettuce. Also make the patty double Hunky with half the Chunky.”
“Will that be all” Jack replied.
“Oh, I also want a small fries. I’m on a diet”
*beep* *boop* *beep* “Your total comes to six dollars and ninety one cents”
After the day in middle school where Jack was beat up by Peter’s goons Jack’s life hit a turn for the worse. Not only did he lose the election but Peter had made everyone in the school bully him, even the people who used to be his friends. It became so bad that even the teachers began to pick on him as well. Some even went as far as to give him extra work and give him bad grades for no reason.
“Can I have a refill on my Extra Large Super Dunker Soda with extra sugar”
“Sure” Jack had no idea why Cheesy Town offered free refills, to him it seemed like a waste of money. Not that he really cared since it had no effect on him.
The bullying had lighted once Jack graduated into high school as Peter had moved into a private high school when Jack stayed within public school. The kids in high school did not know Peter so they had no reason to bully him. However, there were many kids that were in his middle school that continued to bully him even without the presence of Peter. Of course Jack knew that the bullies were secretly being manipulated by Peter in the background. Every move they made against him was being choreographed by Peter in the shadows.
It was at this moment when a baby began to cry in the restaurant and no one made a move to quiet her down as the parents were preoccupied with their other kids who had begun to run around the store pretending to be airplanes.
In High School the teachers had stopped picking on him as well, but that only further aggravated Jack because his grades did not accurately reflect his intelligence. The teachers had tried to hide the fact that they were working for Peter, however, Jack quickly realised that they could not be trusted. In fact it had come to Jack’s attention that anyone could secretly be working for Peter, because of this Jack became suspicious of anyone who tried to get close to him.

Jack looked around at his coworkers, it was highly likely that at least one of them was working for Peter. Jack had no idea who it might be as none of them had shown any signs of working for Peter, but that made them all much more suspicious.
Peter may have crushed Jack into the ground and wiped away all of his hopes and dreams but he could not take away his fighting spirit. No matter what the circumstances Jack would persevere and get his revenge. He would make Peter pay ten times the price of what Peter had done to him. And when Peter is defeated Jack will be treated as a hero by everyone who was living under his oppression.
“EXCUSE ME SIR” a customer had addressed Jack.
“What seems to be the problem Ma’am” Jack replied trying to give a polite smile.
“I ORDERED A TRIPLE CHEESY MACARONI BURGER BUT MY BURGER IS CLEARLY ONLY DOUBLE CHEESY” The customer was almost screaming.
“I’m sorry Ma’am I will get you some extra cheese”
The women then left with her quadruple cheesy burger back into the crowd of people eating at the restaurant.
About 30 minutes after the cheese incident Jack’s shift ended and he started to walk home. Jack did not live very far away from the Cheesy Town, it only took Jack a 10 minute walk to return to his apartment building. Once Jack arrived he road the elevator up to the eleventh floor and walked into his room.
Now that his day job was over he could finally begin his real work. During most of his free time Jack did extensive research on what Peter was doing. The walls of Jack’s apartment was filled with various clippings of newspaper articles tied together with string. To a normal person it would look like a giant conspiracy theory thrown together by a crazy person. Luckily for Jack, he could follow its logic easily as he was the one who made it.
The wall was a flow chart that showed various people that Peter had manipulated into doing what he wanted, or they were his minions who followed his every order. The people in question were various powerful political leaders, rich businessmen, nefarious criminals, and even some famous celebrities. These pictures then lead to newspaper clips that they were somehow involved in such as murders, robberies, stock prices, CEO changes, political votes, and some paranormal activity. Jack wanted to show Peter’s schemes to someone, but he had no one that he could trust because anyone could be under Peter’s manipulation.
This left Jack in a tough spot where there was little he could do except by trying to stay under the radar and gather more information. Luckily he was in just the right position to do that. Jack walked over to his window and opened the blind a little bit so that there was only enough room for his eyes to look out the window. He then picked up his binoculars that were laying on the ground and he began to peer out the window.
By doing this Jack could see out into the city below and into the buildings across the street. Jack then looked into the window third from the right on the eleventh floor of Zamboni Industries and there he could see Peter. There is an old saying that Jack liked to say “keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”. It was for this reason that Jack had decided to move to New York, so that he could keep a close eye on Peter.
From his observations Jack had become familiar with Peter’s daily habits. During most days Peter would sit at the desk in his office while taking phone calls. In the mornings he would always drink a cup of black coffee and eat a toasted bagel as he walked into the building. For lunch his secretary would bring him something different each day, however it would normally contain some form of meat. In the afternoon Peter would stand up and look out of his window while drinking some hot tea. As it was around 6:00 this is what Peter was currently doing. Jack noted that today Peter’s tea looked abnormally hot, he could see the steam rising off of the cup and into the air.
At this moment something that Jack could not believe happened, Peter began to look in his direction and their eyes locked on to each other. Jack had been spying on Peter for some time now but this had never happened before. Jack began to sweat profusely and he became extremely nervous. Does Peter know I’ve been spying on him. How long has he known. I need to get out of here.
In a mad dash Jack ran out of his apartment, he then jumped down the stairs three or four at a time and ran out of the building.
