After searching around for a while she managed to find the entrance to the dungeon again. This time she saw the door, it looked worn down from the outside, not something you'd expect from a supposed great dungeon.
"Is upgrading the looks of the dungeon also going to be a part of this?"
[That is personal preference, but any construction will be done by the monsters you collect for the dungeon. As long as you order it it can happen, this dungeon is your personal home and kingdom.] Said the system as they walked in.
"Go to core." Walking through the portal they were there. Eve was thankful she wouldn't have to find her way every time she came back.
[Place your hand on the core to make the monsters part of your dungeon.]
She did just that, she placed her hand on the orb and saw it start lighting up.
[Registering 5 goblins to the dungeon. Congratulations on your first step to making the greatest dungeon. As your Dungeon grows stronger, so do you. I will now give out your tutorial rewards.]

"Wow I finally got a sword, and dungeon map huh, I guess I should check this out. Open dungeon map"
A pop up appeared, it showed a basic layout of the dungeon, it was pretty small and the core would be easy to find if you looked for more than 30 minutes. "If I'm creating a dungeon I assume there's greedy people who are going to be coming here. What happens if they reach the core?"
[That is correct, this is a world that has many races, but humans are the one's who attack dungeons, they use other races as slaves and treat them lower. If they make it to the core you can try to fight back, but if you fail you will die and the dungeon will collapse once the core is destroyed.]
Hearing that made a shiver go down her spine. The dungeon right now if more than 2 people came here would be crushed. and who knows if she could win against the people of this world.
"For now I'll work on building up the numbers, 5 goblins is just too little to keep this place safe. But right now...I'm exhausted." She said while falling back on the floor. "I guess even demons can get tired after a long day." She said as her eyelids grew heavy, slowly falling asleep.

Slowly waking up Eve stood and stretched. "Guess I should do more hunting today, maybe check out other places." So that's what she did, heading out of the dungeon she went around the forest finding her first lone goblin she had something to try out. "Basic sword." As she said that a sword appeared in her hand. "Let's test out this skill shall I. Heavenly Demons Sword Style!" In an instant right before the goblin could even react its head got flung off. "Woah, what an op skill. this is gonna make my hunting speed go up way faster than before." Collecting its soul she went around the forest killing any goblin she came across. Some even being in small groups, and before she knew it the sun was setting. "How many goblins was that, 15? I got nasty goblin blood on me, I should find some sort of water to clean off in."

After searching for a while she found a clean pond. The trees open above it to let the moonlight reflect on the shimmering water, stars dancing in the night sky. Looking into the pond she finally saw her face in the reflection. "Oh my, I'm so cute." She said while looking at herself pulling at her cheeks. Taking off her clothes and rinsing them off in the pond she left them to dry as she herself got in, laying in the peaceful water looking at the night sky. "Aah, this is what life is supposed to be, the comfort of being enveloped by water as you look at the stars.
After a while she started getting out, letting herself dry before putting her clothes back on, before making her way back to the dungeon.

"Open dungeon map.'' When the page opened, 20 small red dots were gathered in a room. "This makes me feel at least a bit more safe. 20 goblins isn't an easy task as long as its not a big group. What do I do next system?"
[A good next step would be to find stronger monsters since goblins are still very weak, and to start upgrading the dungeon, goblins aren't very intelligent but if you give them basic tasks they can gather food or materials. We have limited time until this dungeon gets found. To upgrade your dungeon you can use monster souls. You'll lose forces but you can add more floors to get the core lower and traps just in case monsters aren't enough, all of which are highly recommended.]
"How many souls to add traps and floors?"
[Traps are depending on size, arrow traps are 2 souls, Pitt falls are 4 souls. Extra floors are 10 souls starting but rises with each new floor. Putting stronger monsters further in the dungeon is also recommended. You can send monsters to also kill other monsters which will bring you souls, but in the event they face a stronger monster and die you will lose monsters and all the souls they collected so it's best to wait for when you have stronger monsters. If you do decide to send weak monsters out you can give them weapons to up their chances of survival, simple spears or clubs for goblins are good options.]
"hm, add 1 floor for now and we'll send the 5 goblins to hunt in a pack. Their vision is much better than mine at night so we can have goblins go kill monsters then. and I'll send another 5 to get materials we can make into simple weapons for them."
[Orders confirmed, starting right away.]
Suddenly the floor started rumbling as the next floor was being made. Sitting down Eve waited for the rumbling to stop. After about 30 minutes the rumbling settled.
[Second floor construction has been finished, core room has been attached to the second floor. The goblins have started your order.]
"Hey system, would I be able to explore this world, or is the rest of my life going to be lonely all about this dungeon."
[That is recommended, Learning about the world is another way to improve the dungeon. and I believe you have a misconception about dungeons, these are not just places for humans to hunt, or for the death of people, to be lonely as you sit waiting to die. These can also be homes for monsters and demi humans, all those cast away and hated by the humans or evil monsters who only wish for blood. They come to the towns and cities within dungeons, dungeons are just a means of protection, the owner of the dungeon decides what happens. This is not only your home and life line, it can also be your empire. The system does not restrict you.]
Eve felt like she unlocked a whole new understanding of the dungeon, and the world around her a bit more. Sitting up she felt some sparks in her heart for the first time in a long time.
"If I'm going to do this, I'm gonna do my best. I'll create a dungeon that all monsters and demi humans can feel safe in, one that not even the strongest human empire can destroy!"
