Chapter 3: The World I Envisioned... Has Begun!

As I thought about starting the world, the world began spinning at a high pace.

I felt something sucking me into the world, and knowing that since I was the world, I had to be inside, I followed it. I had to undergo training to be the World Spirit, that is, the Spirit, or Consciousness of the World, so I couldn't speed up the time.

Let me tell you, no matter what you do, studying is one thing that never gets boring - or interesting, for that matter. Learning new things is definitely fun, but doing the same thing over and over? Definitely not.

I had to spend over a billion years under the jurisdiction of the system to finally master separating my consciousness in order to watch over the world. Then, I had to spend a few hundred millenia to get incarnating right. A few billion years more to get a hang of using all the energies I had gotten, and perfectly separating my thoughts such that I could become multiple people, like a network with a central server.

While listening to my Great Escapades Of Studying might not be fun, listening to what was happening on the world might be more fun. After about 2 billion years, the different energies in the world finally calmed down, no longer as volatile. There were flows between them, much like the winds, except consisting of different energies.

The world wasn't cool enough yet, but still, 500,000 years later, the first signs of life emerged.

And it wasn't a race which I had inducted into the world.

A new race has emerged.

I looked around the world, looking for said race. A billion years of solitude with nothing but a crass system made surviving mentally quite a difficult task.

A few hours of searching later, I finally found them.

Spirit (Element) Level 0

Stats:

Physique 0 Mana 4~7 Strength 0 Mana Accumulation 2~6 Agility 13~18 Mana Regeneration 4~8 Vitality 0 Mana Affinity 6~10 Sense 0 Mana Immunity 4~5

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Damn. Those were quite the stats. So those are the elemental spirits of this world, huh?

I looked on as they flitted near each other and played among themselves. They had no form of reproduction, since they had no corporeal bodies. All they had was their innate agility and powerful Mana stats. It belonged to that of a beginner, after all.

In this world, the only way to get stronger was to go to the dungeon. Other than that, you could only rely on treasures and magic training, but nothing is better than going to a dungeon. Dungeon monsters dropped materials, so there was also a method for making money right there.

The whole world was designed around the dungeons.

Even treasures didn't grow outside the dungeon with ease. Only minerals did, and not in as high quantities as inside a dungeon. After all, I made it such that dungeons occupied all the best spots, and dungeons would have outbreaks if not cleaned regularly.

The dungeons hadn't yet begun rising. They would begin in a few hundred million years, though - around the same time humans would be born.

----------------------------------------

I expected it to take much longer for the world to cool down, considering the multiple forms of energy, but it turned out that due to there being so many different energies, the world cooled down faster as the energies transferred all of their instability to one another instead of trying to get stable themselves. And these instabilities got stabilized by other forms of energy who need the same amount of instability as the energy had.

Make sense? Only a bit did for me. All you needed to know that instead of the 3.8 billion years that Earth was expected to have taken to cool down, my planet - which I named Carvoa, which has no meaning except to sound cool - had cooled in just 3.2 billion years. The over-plane, or Heaven, had already spawned Gods for quite a long time, and Dungeons had just begun appearing all over the lower world.

The Gods had all received their messages. Not to mention, with the recent influx of points, I issued an order that the first human to cross every 50 floors could ask me anything, and I shall try and listen to their requests. However, I might not fulfil certain requests, so they must be careful about what they request.

As for the Gods... I announced to them that the only way to grow stronger was through the dungeon. The Gods themselves could enter the dungeon, but using Divine Powers in the Dungeon was definitely a no-go which would get them punished by losing double their Divine Energy, not to mention the Dungeon would then do its level best to kill them, as the Dungeon hates Gods. Of course, they could use a limited amount in the Lower Realm outside the Dungeon.

They would be brought back to Heaven if they got killed, with the penalty of 2,000-year gap before they could descend again. But, if they entered the Dungeon and died inside, they would truly die.

The gestation period of Gods was about 10,000 years, so if too many Gods died, there was a chance that the race would go extinct. Although, there was a chance that Mortals and Demigods could also ascend to Godhood by getting 20 Achievements and 5 Titles. Of course, getting either of them was no easy feat.

Also, Gods born in the Lower World would only be Demigods, so the gestation period is only a month extra. I made all races have equal gestation periods for a reason - to make them feel equal.

Of course, no Gods descended for quite a while. But after about 30,000 years of simply talking to each other in Heaven, they got extremely bored. Out of the 100 or so gods, 60 decided to descend first. They proceeded to establish Orders, groups of their followers, and gave them powers to descend into the Dungeon.

And by that time, the various races had already reached the 10th floor, and they had to face the boss there. Yet, they couldn't defeat it since they had lost a powerful force the first time they had attacked, underestimating the boss.

So, now with the help of Gods, they could grow stronger faster, and could actually see their strengths and weaknesses, along with their skills.

Two Orders quickly rose to prominence - The Luscia Order and the Verham order. Verham was a master blacksmith, the God of Weapon Smithing; Luscia was the Goddess of Charm. They used their domains to grow their Orders stronger at a faster rate. in the end, the Luscia Order, with their overwhelming numbers, finally defeated the Boss.
