Dragon-Kin arc

Ryoka wasted no time and dashed towards Ziera immediately with fire imbued on both of her hands. Ziera blocked her punches and countered with a right hook to Ryoka's jaw. Ryoka just smiled wickedly at her without looking the least bit bothered. In fact it was Ziera's hand that hurt.

That stung for me but my attack didn't even phase her!? I put more force into this punch than before. Ziera thought.

Ryoka grabbed Ziera's arm and hit her with a combo. First she yanked her closer then hit Ziera across the face with her elbow. She then followed up by kneeing Ziera in the gut and sending her flying through the air and crashing onto a large stone pillar. As Ziera spits out saliva, Ryoka finishes her combo with her fire breath aimed toward Ziera.

"Sun Dragon's Inferno Roar!"

Ryoka breathed out a huge breath of fire at Ziera and completely incinerated the stone pillar she was on. But Ziera was gone. Ryoka was surprised while Ziera was already behind her readying to fire a Omni-Blast square in her back.

Ziera fired the attack but Ryoka grinned, swiftly turned her body and bent her back sideways avoiding the fire.

These beams are as fast as light and she dodged if effortlessly. Tsk. She's way faster than that draugr back at the forest. Ziera thought.

Ziera switches back to her fist and goes in for a punch but Ryoka counters Ziera's punch with her own fist. They began rapidly trading blows both dodging and taking hits from each other. Ziera caught Ryoka's hands and clasped them together with hers.

The two had their test of strength trying to push the other back.

"What's the matter princess? Don't tell me this is all you got." Ryoka taunted.

"Same to you. When are you gonna draw that sword of yours?" Ziera retorted.

"Heh. Only the worthy may fall to my blade." Ryoka said.

"I hope you're not saying I'm less worthy than those dragons back there." Ziera grunted as she tried to push Ryoka back.

"That depends on you, Ms. Runaway." Ryoka teased.

After a minute Ryoka began to overpower Ziera. So Ziera activated her rocket boot, kicked up and hit Ryoka right under her chin.

Ryoka grunted. Then Ziera jumped up, combined her legs and transformed them into a large Omni-Cannon and shot Ryoka point blank in her exposed stomach.

Ryoka was sent flying back into a large pillar. The pillar crumbled from the impact and fell directly onto Ryoka. Ziera transformed her legs back to normal but didn't let her guard down. She scanned the area for Ryoka through the dust.

"Let's see how you tank that. Bitch." Ziera said.

Suddenly large boulders from the pillar were thrown from the dust at Ziera. Ziera transformed her arm into an Omni-Cannon and shot the boulder, destroying it. Ryoka threw more boulders at Ziera but Ziera had already flown up into the air. As the dust settled, Ziera looked at Ryoka and still saw no signs of damage.

Shit! When I punched her the first time I drew some blood. But when I hit her in the face again nothing happened. I even put 35% into that energy blast and hit her square in her stomach and it didn't even phase her.

Ziera transformed her left arm into a large Omni-Mini Gun. She fired dozens of shots at Ryoka. Ryoka blocked the laser bullets with her arms.

I've detected no mana coating her body. So she's not using that to strengthen her defense. It's like her skin is armor itself. If that's the case I'll go immediately into plan delta.

While Ziera kept firing at her, Ryoka dashed towards another large stone pillar. It was 140 feet tall and she easily picked it up with her bare hands. She swung it around and around and then threw it at Ziera.

"Oh shit." Ziera cursed.

She instantly transformed her right arm into an Omni-Blade and intercepted the coming pillar. She flew down as she slashed right through it. Ryoka grew her wings and jumped up towards Ziera trying to punch her. Ziera dodged and flew away. Ryoka gave chase.

Ziera changed both her arms into Rocket Turrets and fired multiple heat seeking missiles at Ryoka. Ryoka soared across fine trying to avoid the missiles but the missiles wouldn't lose her. So she breathed out a massive fire breath at the missiles destroying all of them.

"Ha. Like I said. Is that all you got? Huh?" Ryoka asked in confusion.

The missiles were destroyed but Ryoka noticed that Ziera wasn't around anymore.

"What the hell!? Where did she go!?" Ryoka asked herself.

She used her nose to follow her scent and then saw her flying away to the lower depths of the rock mountains.

"You little! You're not getting away!" Ryoka yelled out. Ryoka gave chase. Ziera while flying away was in thought.

That's right. Just keep following me. I'll show you what I can really do. Ziera thought.

She's obviously trying to bait me. Fine, I'm game. Show me what you got in store for me princess. Ryoka thought.

Ziera had flown down into a cavern in the lower depths of the mountains. Shortly after, Ryoka had followed in after her but couldn't see Ziera anywhere. Nor could she even smell her. She landed on the ground and placed her hands on her hips.

Why can't I find her scent? Is it something in this cavern? Some kind of mineral that affects the sense of smell? If that's the case I'll never find her unless I level the whole damn place. What a pain.

"It's pointless trying to hide from me ya know!? I can just level the whole damn cave! Sure you still wanna play hide and seek? All you did was trap yourself, idiot!" Ryoka taunted. No response.

That bluff's not gonna work. This bitch is cautious. She must be aware that her attacks haven't done shit to me. So no doubt she's plotting something. I just don't know what else she has in those bags of tricks. Well, no use waiting around. Ryoka thought.

"Alright. If you won't come out then I'll draw you out!" Ryoka shouted as she ignited flames on her fists.

But before Ryoka could release her attack, a grenade was thrown at her. Ryoka caught it.

A grenade? Ryoka thought.

Ryoka began to crush it, but the grande opened and began forming around her right hand.

"What the hell!?" Ryoka shouted. Ryoka tried to burn it off but there was one problem.

Wait! Why can't I use mana in my right hand? Ryoka thought.

Another grenade was thrown at Ryoka. She dodged but it opened up and released a bright flash of light blinding ryoka.

And a fucking flash bang? Is there nothing she can't create? Ryoka thought.

Another grande was thrown and this time it was a sound grenade and it released a powerful sound wave inside the cavern.

"AHHHHHH!" Ryoka screamed in pain.

"Plan Delta complete. Not onto plan beta." Ziera said. She combined her arms and created a ginormous gun.

"Omni-Bazooka: Mark 1"

Other than magic, Dragon-Kin's greatest assets are their senses. Sight, smell, and hearing. My plan was simple: lure Ryoka into this cave. Then throw in that Omni-Glove to restrain her right hand as a misdirection. Next take out her senses one by one. Finally, weaken her to the point where I can take her down with heavy firepower. This bazooka takes time to charge so I had to keep her in place until it was ready.

Even if that doesn't take her down, it should at least weaken her defense. This time, I'm putting 70% of my mana into this attack. Ziera thought.

Ziera locked on Ryoka. "Target acquired. FIRE!" Ziera shouted.

A massive condensed green beam fired at Ryoka and she took the full force of that attack. The explosion was so massive it blew up a big portion of the cavern.

Ziera retracted her bazooka. She then took a knee and took a few short breaths.

That was a lot of mana I just used. Hopefully it did some major damage. Ziera thought.

As the dust settled, Ziera looked for Ryoka but she was gone.

What!? Where the hell did she-?

Suddenly, Ziera felt a powerful and intimidating presence right behind her. She slowly turned around and saw Ryoka.

Ryoka stood above her. She had smoke coming from out of her mouth and body. Her armor had scratches but was still intact. Her skin however was different. It was completely covered in red scales from head to toe.

You've gotta be fucking kidding me! Even 70% wasn't enough! I knew her scales were protecting her but this is insane. Ziera thought.

Ziera looked at Ryoka's exposed belly. It had a huge burned mark on it.

Looks like I did do major damage but it's not enough. At 70% that bazooka's firepower is strong enough to blow up a mountain top and she's still standing. Tsk. Dragon-Kin really are a pain.

Ryoka coughed and then began to laugh. She looked down at Ziera and cracked her neck.

"I gotta say princess, that plan wasn't half bad. I knew you were planning something but I was curious to see what it was. I'll admit, if I hadn't brought out my scales I would have been in trouble. But playtime is over." Ryoka said.

She brought out her sword still in it's sheath and pointed it at Ziera. Ryoka had a massive grin on her face.

"You wanted my sword right? Well get ready. Because the real fight starts now, princess." Ryoka said.
