Afterword
This will be a ramble, so be warned.
Hey guys, so I know I concluded suddenly, especially considering all the world building I did. However the reason for that is that this first story was more of a practice run (that's why events seem to pass quickly), I've never written stories before this so I wasn't privy to my own ability for writing, and more importantly, my own preferences.
This practice run has told me a few things, firstly the story needs plot, which mine certainly did not have, it felt like there was no agency for the main character, they were merely being dragged along in events, this shows particularly in the noble arc, she just sat around while Miranda did everything, it was boring. Moreover there was no villian, no obstacle to overcome, it just felt like such a slog when I reread through some of my stuff. Anyway, another thing is that while I enjoy reading litRPG, I absolutely hate writing it, I felt like my story could've done without litRPG elements and it would've been better for it. Thirdly, I learnt my favourite thing to write is dialogue, I love writing interactions between characters, I feel like it shows in my writing, so when I write my next story, I will make sure to focus on what I actually prefer rather than stupid hide and seek missions. Finally the last reason I stopped where I did, is because the magic academy was actually supposed to be one of the main focuses of the story, and I actually had a proper mental plan for it, along with a whole magic system. I was really excited to write that, but I got so off track from that, that Fera somehow became an assassin haha.

Yes that's right Fera was actually meant to be a mage, but I wanted mages to be a rarity, so Fera, being born an orphan and hence having such a hard time learning magic was supposed to be a representation of the rarity of mages. But my roundabout way of her learning magic was incredibly boring unfortunately. Anyway I hope my next story is more engaging not only to myself but to my readers, I'm still in a learning phase, but writing is incredibly enjoyable for me even if I may not be the most talented.
I also really enjoy world building, I'm sure you could tell, haha.
