Seth had just put four points in everything except dexterity and resilience, they had got three points each, for a total of 30 points. He had leveled three times because of that poor rabbit. The changes what almost instant and it was strange, a lot of things happened to him in all aspects of his being.
“My name is Harold, what’s your name?” The man asked.
“Seth” Seth answered, trying to remember his last name but was unable to.
“What does it mean that I have a profession named Native?” Seth continued
“It’s what’s given to you at the age of five, and its levels at a strange rate”
He asked Harold what Native meant; and it was simply what you were given at the age of 5, from the system and the only Profession you could not change. Most got one profession, some got two, very few got an additional three, not including Native.
“What do
“The first one is how much the first level of that profession cost, the nest one is how much you need for the advancing to the next level, and it does not include Exp earned while in that level” Harold answered and continued
“Some rare Skills in native such as one extra profession, Exp boost of different power or Reduction in cost. additional Points is not uncommon with nobility or very high leveled individuals. The problem is their cost and that you got the ability to change it at such a young age. So, when they got older and understood what they had done, the damage was already done. So many had very different builds because of that.” Harold said with a lot of regret in his voice, and it sound like a common problem at that.
Seth’s memory was starting to come back after he had put points in Intelligence and Wisdom or at least he think that was the reason, still he could not remember his last name.
He remembers going to sleep and waking up in a void, with the screen in front of him already filled out, and what did he do in all his wisdom? Of course, he removed everything he could, all the stats and all skills already chosen and started making different builds. And trying to make the most over powered build he could, he chooses was general and passive upgrades that would make him powerful, “would” being the key word. When pressing the button to leave, the system warned him with flashing red light and even got an error message that changed his Health from zero to one. He should have listened to the warning and at least give himself something that involved being able to move. Hindsight is twenty twenty right?
The man, named Harold was traveling home after selling some goods at the market, a day's travel the other way. Everywhere he looked there was still a very heavy fog and the only thing he were able to see was the back of the horse. ‘what a great view, a real asshole’ he told himself and laughed a little inside himself.
Seth was feeling a lot better now and was able to move without problem, Harold was more relax too, not holding a hand on the hilt of the short sword anymore.
“You had great luck being so close to leveling that you were, but tell me where you from son?” Harold asked with a calm but rumbling voice.
“I don’t remember” Seth lied, he Remembered but telling this man that he most likely gotten here from another world sounded bad, he had read enough books to know that was a bad idea. ‘Even if this was a dream no reason to be stupid right?’ his inner monolog told him. But his memories were strangely fragmented, even if he could not understand that right now, he knows that something about him had changed.
Seth was still naked, but had gotten a blanket form Harold, his feet and face could still feel the cold fog touching his skin as the wagon moved forward. “what’s with all this fog” Seth asked, trying to change the topic away from himself.
“It’s soon winter, and the cold air stays in the valley having nowhere to leave, not really a valley as it has no opening just mountains on every side, remembering my father call it something else, something about a magma dungeon getting destroyed...” Harold continued rambling. From what he could tell this “valley” was once a dungeon that exploded and left this enormous caldera with no way out, at least for the common man, and it was huge, as far as he understood you could travel for over a month or two to get to one of the ends, and they were in the middle of it.
The hours passed by and when it started getting darker, they finally arrived at his farm. It was still foggy and as the sun started setting behind one of the mountain hills far away, its shadow made it almost as dark as night. Harold had a timber house with lantern's that glowed with an orange light, inside you could see a clear sign that a fire was burning because of the way light shimmered through the glass. Harold stopped the horse outside and showed Seth inside, the warmth come at him like a hug, embracing him with all it’s might. Seth had not realized how cold he had been before entering into the warmth, feeling all his muscles relax.

“This is my wife Helga and sitting over there is my daughter Sarah” Harold said with a big smile.
Seth remembering he was still naked under the blanked started stammering a greeting “Hi, I’m Seth, nice to meet you both”.
The girl sitting at the table was not even looking his way, the wife on the other hand saw what condition he was in and immediately run off to bring some oversized clothes for him and almost started to dress him herself. But he was shown to a room with no light inside and only the glow under the door and from the lantern outside the window. He hurriedly dressed and when out, Harold had left to take care of the horse and Helga was at the stove. Feeling out of place he when over to the girl and to a chair across from her.
Sarah jolted in her seat, Seth looked at her and saw that her eyes were filled with fog. That’s when the realization hit him, she was blind. Sarah as a petite girl, wearing a plain blue dress. Blond hair and white skin. Sarah and her mother looked almost like sisters just with an age gap.
“Hi, I’m Seth” Seth said with a calm voice.
“Mom, remember 42 and 74” She said a little loudly, her mother instinctually responded with a “yes”. Sarah then put what she was knitting on the table.
“Hi, Seth. I’m Sarah as you can see, I'm blind” Sarah said with a little sassy voice. Still not looking Seth’s way.
“Hi, what were you doing?” Seth politely asked
“Knitting, what did it look like?” Sarah Simply answered.
“what where you knitting?”
“Mittens”
“For who?”
“Too sell”
Her answer where short and annoyed, not really wanting to talk, but politely enough to respond. So, Seth tried to get some information out of her. And from what she told him; he could tell that they were on a farm, with some sheep's, they had a cow, a horse, two oxen, a small pond with fish, shrimp and slimes, And lastly three large fields with barley.
Harold entered the house, bringing with him a cold gust of damp air.
“Foods ready” His wife told him and the rest.
The food was bland, not really much spice, but surprisingly tasty, even if it was stew. “Seth can’t you start helping me around the farm? if you want, as payment you will be fed and have a warm bed to sleep in, and you will also get some slimes from the pond now and then” Harold asked.
“I don’t know anything about farming and stuff” Seth said.
“If you start helping out you will be able to choose a profession that would help, but in the mean time you can just help me with easy things in the fields for the next week”
Seth was thinking not really wanting to be a farmer in this new world, but he had nothing right now so this was as good as it got right now. And Harold helped him when he needed it, so he should at least repay them if he could.
“I will do my best” Seth answered with a smile.
After that they continued eating, Seth was looking over at Sarah at times, fascinated by how easily she was eating, without being able to see, but instead feeling her way. How she talked a lot more happily with her father and mother. Harold had bought a lot of goods for the farm on his travel, and Sarah had gotten a book holder with a large Yellow crystal on top. “what is that” Seth asked politely, “it’s a book reader, come here and I'll show you” Helga Answered, Seth could see Sarah frowning at that.
Helga took his hand and let it touch a metal handle on the strange device, and as soon as he did, he could hear his own voice reading something for him. He looked at the device with eyes only an engineer could.
The day had been long and lying in bed his mind starting drifting, he was sharing a room with Sarah, they had each their own bed on opposite sides of the room. He found it strange that Harold and Helga let him share a room with their daughter, but this house only had two bed rooms and they were right next to each other. He had heard them arguing a little about where to put him, he had been expecting the barn or something. But instead they put him in the spare bed with the doors open.
“status” Seth whispered.
