The year is 2100 and boy, what better way to start a new century than with genetically engineered birds? I'm not sure who made them, but I think we've gone with The Russians. Now with that out of the way let's dive into this, shall we?

It all started a couple of months ago when they first made it to the States. We had been getting reports of something happening for a couple of weeks now as the birds made their way through Alaska and Europe. No one was quite sure what was happening, but we got reports of something able to replicate human voices.

Seems pretty harmless right? WRONG! They're kind of like the Stymphalian birds mixed with the Hunger Games birds.

A quick description of these birds for y'all, about 2 feet from wing tip to wing tip, golden beaks, and beady red eyes. Anyway, I'm getting back on track. As the birds traveled across Europe, we got news reports about a new bird species with an abnormal amount of aggression, they attacked any humans they saw diving in beak first like a torpedo.

Even though estimates of the population had them at around 14 that quickly changed after about a week after the first reports came in when the attacks on people really started picking up with more and more people being attacked by the birds. As Researchers observed the birds through drones, they quickly noted the speed at which the birds were able to reproduce.

8 times faster than rabbits they'd say. One researcher went psychotic in an interview when questioned about it. When They made it to America only a few of us were ready. Anyway, when the birds made it to Texas, we were already ready for them. And some buddies made this cool little bunker camp a lot of people said that it was a dumb idea and that the birds were just a hoax.

They were the first to go, obviously. So, Birds made it to our town birds killed a lot of people and the few that survived joined up with us. It's been a couple weeks and there were up to 24 people most of them people we found when we went scavenging for supplies. A couple of them are some military guys named Bob and Bill who joined up with us a couple of days ago when we found them fighting off some of the birds. I think they're gay but I'm not positive.
