As the police car made its way down the street, Draco continued to gaze out the window at the bustling city. He noticed the people walking on the sidewalks, going about their daily lives. The car itself was a bit dirty, with a strong smell of perfume that was clearly used in an attempt to mask the bad smell of the vehicle. Alex was driving, while Draco was seated in the back with a constable. Even though it was a bit uncomfortable, Draco tried to stay focused and alert, but...
"They are taking you to SP headquarters; those guys deal with real international criminals, including those from other races."
Draco looked at his face and, not being in the mood to talk, remained silent.
"Haha!, A Vampire Wife, things are going to get tough for you in the near future."
"What would you do if your wife ran away, Alex?"
Alex chuckled slightly and stated,
"All right, put a stop to that. We are close to arriving at the station."
While laughing a little, the constable turned his attention to Draco and said.
"I completely understand; who'd have guessed? I'd hear vampire girls look really good?" "hahaha!"
"Tell me, did your wife look good, hmm?"
Draco was annoyed and frustrated by the constable's constant questions, so he chose to ignore him and look out the window instead. He gazed at the passing scenery, trying to clear his mind and calm himself down. He didn't want to let the constable get to him, so he took a few deep breaths and focused on the beauty of the outdoors. As the car continued to move, Draco continued to look outside, taking in the sights and sounds of the city around him. He tried to push all thoughts of the investigation out of his mind and focus on the present moment.
When is this going to end? Investigation ? I don’t feel good about it.
After driving for approximately 15 minutes, the police car finally arrived at the station. Draco looked out the window and saw a three-story building with a sign that read "District's Police Headquarters." He knew that there were only three districts in the city of Daeria and only two police headquarters in the two largest districts within the main city. The third district was a mostly rural area located outside of the main city. As the car pulled into the parking lot, Draco could see that the station was busy, with many officers coming and going. He wondered what kind of cases they were working on and how his own investigation would proceed.
"SPID is on the second floor, right," the constable said as he looked towards Alex, who was seated in the driver's seat of the vehicle.
"Yeah, we have to report on the first floor, then take him up to the second floor, and SPID will handle it from there."
The district headquarters was a big, busy building with many floors. Each floor was used for a different job or function of the police force. On the first floor, the police did general things like process reports and paperwork, talk to people, and answer calls. The second floor was reserved for investigations and major cases and was also home to the SPID (Super Police Investigation Department), a specialized unit that handled complex and high-profile cases. The third floor was for special cases and where most of the offices of higher-ranking officers, such as the vampire hunters, were located. These were the smart people whose job it was to find and catch vampires who went rogue and threatened humans. Overall, the district headquarters was a busy and important hub of activity, with officers working tirelessly to keep the city safe.
As the car pulled up to the station, Alex carefully navigated it into the parking lot and brought it to a stop in front of another police car in the parking lot. He turned off the engine and looked over at Draco, who was still sitting in the back seat.

"Alright, we are here; let’s go."
Grabbing Draco’s hand The constable said,
"Alright move!!"
I don’t like this guy at all.
As they approached the building, Draco could see a large sign at the top of the building that was blinking in red. It had a star symbol on the side and looked impressive and imposing. Alex walked up the white stairs and pushed open the heavy door, allowing Draco and the constable to enter the building. Inside, they were greeted by a large, open hall with a reception area and many counters where officers were working. The place was much cleaner and more organized than the previous police station. There were some blue seats in the corner of the hall, and the atmosphere was bustling and busy. Draco looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the station.
Alex looked towards us and said,
"You two sit on those chairs. I will be back in a minute."
Draco was feeling frustrated and exhausted. He had been rejected from going home and was forced to sleep in the station on a makeshift bed, which made it difficult for him to get any rest. The food there was terrible, and he was feeling grumpy and tired. As he sat on a chair, trying to take a nap, he was not in the mood to talk to anyone, especially the constable.
After a few minutes of trying to relax, Alex approached them and asked them to walk with him to the second floor of the station. The second floor was a busy place, with multiple rooms, including an office space where uniformed officers were working, as well as an evidence room. As they walked through the gallery on the second floor, they reached a room with a plate on the door that read "Investigation Room."
The investigation room was well lit and had a table in the middle with four chairs around it. There was a noticeable camera on the wall and a small, empty dustbin in the corner.
"Draco, sit on the chair; we will be waiting outside."
Draco took a seat at the table. After that, Alex and the constable went outside of the room.
Draco was feeling uneasy as he sat in the investigation room. He had been summoned there for questioning and was not sure what to expect. Just as he was getting settled, he heard the sound of the door clicking open. He turned to see a tall, uniformed officer entering the room.
"Hi! You must be Draco!"
"I am Officer Duken. I'll take your investigation and ask you some questions; we need to arrange something, so it'll take 4-5 minutes; I have some paper here for you to fill out."
"Alright"
Draco took the forms from Officer Duken and began to fill them out. He could overhear Duken and Alex, who had accompanied him to the second floor, discussing something,
"Hi Alex, I am Dunken."
"I will be conducting the investigation. You will have to wait till it’s over, and yeah, thanks for bringing him."
"Oh, no problem, Dunken It's our duty."
"Okay, I will be back sometime."
Dunken looked toward Alex, and the constable then walked away.
"So, what do you think, Alex Do you think he is involved somehow?" said the constable, looking towards Alex.
"I don’t know; he looks like he doesn’t know anything."
"It feels like a joke when he says that. I think he knows about it and is involved with vampires."
"Well, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Maybe he is involved."
"Hey Alex, do you think we should call them? I mean, this case is pretty interesting. We can get some commission."
"It might put him in danger!"
"Nah, it's ok. I don’t think anything will happen." Picking up his phone, the constable started dialing some numbers.
Interested Alex looked toward the constable to hear his conversation.
"Hello, we are speaking from …… The girl's voice on the phone was very low, making it difficult to understand what she was saying.
"Hi, I have an interesting case. You might like it...
After filling out all the forms, Draco relaxed in his chair.
"It's taking so long!!--
"Huahh! I want to go home already"
Alright, it is show time. I hope everything goes well.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of the door opening again. He turned to see another constable dragging a machine with wires connected to a laptop on wheels into the room.
"What is that!"
"Oh, it's a lie detection machine," Duken explained from behind the constable.
"But Why!"
"For a proper investigation, I have seen your report If you said the truth, then you have nothing to fear"
I will cry, Azrael!! Look at the mess you've put me in!
