[Congratulations on your achievements so far in the world of Armageddon online] The message appeared in a greenish text on his phone because of the app that was linked with the VRMMO which was his favorite.
In the year 2076, in one of the higher class cities where someone of an upper middle wage income could comfortably raise their children was a promising young 15 year old.
"Alright, yes, with being one of the first people to beat one of Satan's demon generals I've earned the priviledge of being one of the only people to be invited by [YHWH] to take part in one of the games official beta testing events." Said Logan Frank while pumping his fist. He had a sparkle in his eye and wide eyed enthusiasm befitting of an older teenager on the track to success while spending the minimum amount of effort on his high school studies.
Truthfully what Logan Frank wished for was to fill his days with excitement and adventure and the burdgeoning world of VRMMOs.
Logan Frank was one of the popular kids and while he didn't excel in sports his excelling in his academic pursuits and his generally good figure made him appealing to a lot of people.
"Armageddon Online's just the coolest game in the world, I'm in love with my law route character even though I'm not particularly religious myself." Said the Logan. "I wonder if you can have a Crusader character without being particularly religious yourself." Logan while technically a christian and had gone to church prided himself on being an atheist because of his love for science. Although he wasn't one that completely discounted the idea of a benevolent god.
Logan spun around in his chair for joy because this was something that he had been chasing for a long long time, at least 4 weeks and he had finally become one of the chosen few to beta-test the game's next parts. He was super excited, however when he looked at the clock and realized what time it was he postponed looking at the notifications that he had been given regarding beta-testing the new section of the game. Right now his mind was on other interests.
There were at least three separate alerts on his phone. He was particularly keen on answering these messages because he was sure that they were coming from the girl that he was dating.
[Hey, Logan, are you up]
[Yeah, what's up]
[I was wondering if we could go on some quests and maybe we could do some couple stuff in the game.]
[Sure, I'd be up for that.]

The main character's crush in the game was named Madgalena and she played the role of a holy sorceress who's patron was the heaven aligned heathen god Athena. The two of them shared a good couple of hours together in the game that ended with a sweet but sorrowful good bye kiss. It wasn't the last the two would see of each other however and the two of them thought that they would meet each other for class.
Little did the two of them know that Logan would be isekaied to the world of Armageddon Online as his werewolf crusader Hikaru. Logan a fan of japanese media picked the name because it was the japanese word for Light and he thought it would be a cool name to give his werewolf crusader character.
Now that his time with Mary or Magdalena as she called her in game self had come to an end Logan went right to the previous notifications about the beta testing.
[Congratulations chosen champion you who have been deemed of great strength and virtue enough to protect the weak you have been chosen to play test a new gameplay experience for enjoyers of Armageddon Online.]

The prompt flashed for a moment and Logan took it in for only a moment before having his consciousness transferred to a white void where only a well dressed older fellow awaited him. He had a black fedora was slightly pudgey, had a big beard and gentle and caring eyes. The gentleman came forward and approached the young man.
"Welcome young man to purgatory." Said the well dressed older gentleman kneeling over the young man.
"Hey sir, how'd I end up here and what are you supposed to be? Are you god? " asked Logan without a shred of malice or sarcasm but out of genuine curiousity.
"Quite frankly, I am A god my name is Yeshua and I am the god of mercy." Said Yeshua, gesturing to himself with his open hand.
"Oh, so you are god. Cool... so I guess I'm going to a fantasy world as my werewolf crusader and I'm going to be allowed some boons to take with me?" Logan said.
"Yes, quite frankly that is exactly why we are here to select those boons for you. You are quite a sharp lad you are." Said Yeshua.
"It's similar to some of the isekai books I've read." responded Logan "I wouldn't know what to think of this otherwise. I might have thought I had gone insane." said the youth.
"Alright I guess that's correct. What boons may I select." asked Logan
"Please select your blessings young man." said the portly older gentleman. "The blessings are like skills that you might use, they're all passive skills by the way and there are three that are provided by yours truly." Said Yeshua with a cheerful look on his face.
"You're going to be quite pleased with the selection I assure you. It's what you deserve afterall as one of our representatives in the game against the demons." Said Yeshua.
[Blessing: Lord of All beasts- using this skill the user can talk to all creatures human, beast or monster just as they would talk with a human.]
Personally, Logan was someone who liked to talk with people to solve his problems and was something of a negotiator within his guild. It was something that he quite liked to do brokering peace amongst the knight guilds that served the kingdom of Avalorn. He had even gotten the nicknames [the Wolf of Peace] and [The wolf of negotiation] while he couldn't talk with all manner of creature before this was definitely something that he wanted to be able to explore. Without a further seconds thought, he chose this blessing.
[Blessing 2: Would you like Angelic Presence or Demonic Presence.]
On the surface the choice was an easy one to pick howeer, he wondered that if picking one or the other would have implications for certain races within the game and wondered that if someone on the side of Law would have any use for Demonic Presence, with that he read the skill Demonic Presence first.
[Demonic Presence: This skill gives you +2 to negotiations with demons and chaos aligned races but it causes Angels and Law aligned NPCs to become distrustful torward you. You also have a fear effect on all those around you.]

"That would be an obvious no" thought Logan.
Logan thought that he would choose Angelic Presence but felt that he should at least read it first to see how much it would benefit him.
[Angelic Prensece: This skill gives you +2 to negotiations with angels and law aligned races but it causes Demons and Chaos aligned NPCs to become distrustful toward you. You also have a calming effect on all those around you.]
Defintiely going to choose this one thought Logan.
Of course, that was the only proper choice for him. Then he began to choose the third and final blessing that he could take with him.
[Blessing 3: Final Skill Selection Lord's Luck or Lord's Protection]
The final skill was going to be a tough choice for the youth so he read over both skills very carefully.
[Lord's Luck: This skill gives you a passive 20% luck boost when finding rare items. The Lord himself will guide you towards the rare item and as such you'll be able to find those items without as much effort as those without this skill.]
Alright, that's a pretty decent skill. Thought Logan, but somewhere deep down he was sure that Lord's Protection was an even better skill.
[Lord's Protection: The lord will not allow your hp to drop to zero and will prevent it one time. Upon dropping to zero your HP will regain 20% of it's maximum health pool and you'll be left standing and ready to make a final attack]
Alright, that's the one I want thought the youth. With that Logan selected his final skill of Lord's Protection and was ready to be reincarnaated into the world of Armaggeddon online. "So where will I be reincarnated?" said Logan. "You'll be reincarnated into a neutral territory near the starting area of the Holy Capital of Vestigo. There you'll recruit people to your cause and eventually meet with other players from the Holy Capital." Said Yeshua. "I hope for your sake you do us proud." Said Yeshua ecstatically. And so it was that Logan Frank was reincarnated into the world of Armaggeddon Online.
