Thomas Shaw Plantation House
Saint Kitts

“Heineken, Are you sure we can’t be tracked here?” asked Mac
“I told you my alias is perfect” Tom said irritably
“I have been unable to find any digital record connecting Tom Branch to Thomas Shaw. From what I know of Tom’s methods, it would be extremely difficult for someone to connect the deceased Thomas Shaw former resident of the Nashville Rescue Mission with the Thomas Shaw that bought the Saint Kitts citizenship through their investment program.” The alien said.
“I used cash and spent months volunteering at that kitchen to find a non-felon of the right age, and with no family and a terminal disease.” Tom spouted.
“While I admit, Tom’s level of preparedness did seem creepy when I heard about it. Giving a dying man a few months in Vegas is a small price to pay for using his birth certificate and not being reporting as deceased when the time came.” Mac interjected.
“That and his, well my, ownership of a Caribbean electronics factory gives Heini some options.” Mac joked.
“Beer Keg worked in the short time, but we never asked you what your actual name was.” MacDonald asked, only a few days past social convention would allow.
“I do not prefer being called a Beer Keg, but as I cannot remember my own designation, Heineken does not offend” Heineken said evenly through the earbuds the men wore.
“That’s settled, now, on to bigger things: A group we know nothing about wants to kill us using operatives implanted with suicide kill chips, and we possess, no offense Heineken, world changing alien technology. ” Branch said

“I vote we turn it in to the government, we swore an oath, and I bet the US would give us a huge reward.” Mac volunteered.
“Our Oath was to defend, and if we turned Heineken over it would cause global war, not to mention our reward would be to be locked up.” Branch said
“Your right Tom, I guess there is no way the US could implement any of the tech made possible by our friend without triggering a massive arms race. Just that ATP goo alone would change the balance of power.” Mac agreed.
“Can we find your old ship, or failing that, build a new one?” Tom Branch asked Heineken.
“I lack data to form a conclusion concerning my old ship. I do not hold memories of any ship plans; I do grasp the technology needed to build one. The problem is that I don’t have to tools or the resources to do so.” The alien responded
“Blacksmiths build their own tools. I own a factory here, and have some investments in others, could you build the tools you need to build the tools you want?” Branch questioned.
“It is possible, but it would take time and funds that you do not have. May I make a couple of suggestions?” responded Heineken.
“Sure” both Branch and Mac answered together
“To limit exposure, we work in phases. Phase One would be resource development. I would suggest we invest Tom Branch’s funds aggressively, while using Tom Shaw’s more limited funds to open a research and development branch under his existing factory here on Saint Kitts. There are some technical advances that can be commercialized easily. Additionally, I have done some research on digital currency and with a direct internet connection to a service provider I can mine bitcoin with very high efficiency.” Heineken stated.
“I agree with that, so what’s phase two?” Branch inquired
“I believe you would call it finding a shell state.”
“Like Syria?” Mac exclaimed
“Nothing so complicated. When exploring Branch’s hard drives, I noticed he had quite an extensive library on micro-nations. However,” Heineken continued, “I was not finished with my explanation of Phase One. Resource development should also focus on your human development. We haven’t spoke in detail about genome enhancement or the reason for the longevity of the Sumerian Kings.”
“I knew it!” said Branch
Mac just grinned and said, “I think I will like this….”
