Using the DLC Horizon Forbidden West - Burning Shores as a basis, I have written an account of Aloy directly following the events after my previous fan fiction 'Kotallo's Horizon'. In the aftermath of Forbidden West, Aloy is tasked with bringing in a rogue Zenith that escaped their clutches and cannot be trusted to be benign. Kotallo is charged with spearheading an 'embassy' at Meridian which, for him, is in the far east beyond Tenakth tribal lands. As each faces challenges, physical, emotional and mental, they must look at the future and what is required of them to ensure it happens...and what they must be prepared to give up to do so.
