Now that I think about it, something is really wrong with this place. The gate was pretty as if it was heaven’s gate. Additionally, this area contains a stunning castle, a garden, and a cute dog having three heads. The dog has a lovely dog house of his own, with an entrance large enough for his three heads. Without even realizing it, I started walking in its direction.
“Don’t blame me if Cer rips your head off”, the handsome man warned me. Honestly speaking, I am a cat lover through and through, so I don’t really like dogs since they seem ready to pounce on me any second. But for some reason, I got attracted to this dog. With a displeased and irate look on his face, the dog gave me the impression not to pet him. Though I touched him a little and withdrew my hand, fearing that he might bite. That didn't concern him, though.

So, this guy is a demon. Well, he sure doesn’t look like one. People on earth will surely go crazy if they learn that demons look like this. He has no idea how popular he would be among girls with that face of his. Life is unfair. Ahh!! This is making me depressed. Let’s focus on this place instead. The inside of the castle is also incredible. It resembles the royal castles shown in webtoons. I think I saw about 10 rooms before reaching this throne room. My heart is racing like crazy. I guess even after all this I am still afraid of meeting Satan.

“My Lord, I have escorted the mortal”. “Come in”, said Satan with a deep voice. Just listening to the voice, I felt quite a lot of pressure. Like everything else, the throne room is also extravagant. And I saw Satan for the first time. How should I say this? Amaterus doesn’t hold a candle against Satan in terms of charisma. He has a pale skin, pitch black hair, red eyes and a handsome face. It’s as if he is an angel. The only thing that identifies him as demon are the horns on his head. I was so mesmerised by him that I forgot this was supposed to be hell, and he was supposed to be Satan. He comes down from his throne, then started staring at me intensely. Is he going to kill me? I am dead though, so is he going to erase my existence? Whatever, I hope this ends quickly. Now he is inspecting my body as if I have any hidden weapons.

Whoa! So, this is Satan’s information. I didn’t even need to touch him to get this, he did it voluntarily. But why is he inspecting me as if I am a terrorist?
“Amaterus, were you able to see his karma?”, said Satan.
“My Lord, don’t tell me even you…”.
“Yeah, I can’t see it. Mortal what are you? It sure is strange. I haven’t seen anything like this before. I think I need to go through the records of history from the beginning to know the exact cause of this, and it will take quite a few years.”
“My Lord, there’s also one more thing about him that bothers me. He isn’t afraid of hell. He doesn’t show signs of fear even after meeting me, Cer or you. It’s very strange.”
“I think I know the reason for that”, Satan exclaimed with great excitement. “Oi Mortal, what do you see in your surroundings, describe it to me”, Satan said to me.

I addressed him as ‘Sir’ as I couldn’t think of anything better. I mean he isn’t my King, so saying ‘My Lord’ is too much and its cringe as f#ck as well. Amaterus was pissed at this, although Satan himself didn’t mind it.
“I mean what does this place look like to you and what do we look like to you?”, Satan explained to me.
“This place looks like a royal castle and is absolutely stunning Sir!”, upon hearing this Amaterus almost fainted. “And you both look like the male lead and his sidekick from an anime. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone this beautiful before”, I replied.
“Then when you saw Cer before…”, Amaterus asked me.
“Oh! That cute dog”, he actually fainted this time upon hearing this.
“I think his pride as a demon is hurt after listening to you. You see mortals don’t see us like this normally. You are truly an anomaly”, Satan said to me. Amaterus woke up. Satan continued, “The reason as to why you see us this way is simple. You are seeing us in our true form. This cannot be seen by mortals who have karma, they will see us as fearsome demons whether they have positive karma or negative karma. This place will also not look like a beautiful place. I have some assumptions as to why you don’t have karma, but leave that for later, since I am not sure.”
I honestly don’t understand what Satan is saying, but who cares about their pride or whatnot? They just keep addressing me as ‘anomaly’, ‘mortal’ and that system addresses me as ‘idiot’. This is getting frustrating. Oh! I completely forgot about System. I need to ask him about this. “Sir Satan, So, after I died and came here, I got a weird ability. I can see other people’s stats by touching them. What is this? It looks like a window floating in air.”
“Oh that! Well, when a person dies in any world, then that world’s will or you can say that world’s voice judges their karma and sends their soul to either hell or for reincarnation. There are times it ascends the soul to heaven as well, but that’s rare as one has to live a hundred lives with positive karma. Anyway, the reason as to why it stuck with you is that when it tried to judge you, it failed as you don’t possess any karma. Then it asked for my authority for an even deeper judgement, but that failed as well. And to know the cause, it bound itself to you, but even that didn’t work and when it tried to unbind it failed for some unknown reason, so, now it’s stuck with you. We still don’t know how it will affect a human soul as it has never happened before. I think for your world its name is ‘Gaya’. It still exists in your world, it’s just that a part of it has assimilated with your soul.”

Well, now that this is cleared, the only thing left is why the hell am I in hell???? I don’t have karma so, I shouldn’t be here, right? “Uhm... Sir Satan, will you please tell me why am I here in hell?”, I politely asked the King of Hell.
“Well, that's a good question. Listen karma-less mortal, how about you make a deal with me?”, Satan said in a very creepy way.
A deal with Satan doesn’t sound like a good idea, to be honest.
