We’ve learned this much about Scott, Scott was a member of a local baptist church. He’d done quite a bit of community service for the community. His wife died in a car wreck a couple of weeks before. Outside of her, he had no other family members.
According to the accounts, we’ve gathered his faith would follow him into the workplace. This caused quite a few problems with the other workers as Mr. Deets has a relatively… Diverse staff. Simply put, Scott was a nightmare to work with this applied especially to employees who went against his beliefs. He had problems with two people, in particular, Andy Mandez, who Scott somehow learned was gay, and a man named Dan Himly, a man with high functioning autism who works in the same department. This had caused many problems involving Scott attempting to exclude the two from a multitude of assignments.
Due to their sexuality and learning problems, purposely limited the information they'd receive about projects, and refused to accommodate for Mr. Himly when he didn’t understand something. He also refused to give either of them their required 10-minute break which, according to Mr. Deets, was a mandatory accommodation for both of them on top of their regular 30-minute breaks to help them manage their stress. He even went as far as to steal or move things on Mendez's desk to purposely trigger his anxiety disorder. The last thing he stole was Andy’s medication meant to help with his OCD and threw it into the fountain. One of the janitors saw Scott and brought it to Mr. Deets’ attention.
Mr. Deets admitted he was planning on firing Scott the day of his death.

This caught Holmes ear, he says it's rather convent that only Andy and this other person benefit from Scott’s disappearance. I told him that wasn’t possible. Andy was on the phone with the police when Scott died, and this Dan guy was one of the people who tried to save Scott.
Mr. Deets clarified that Andy wasn’t the only one who hated Scott literally everyone in the company had some form of motive against him. Later that day, Mr. Deets gave a talk to the company about abuse in the work place, to remind the employees to bring all cases of abuse to his attention and shine light on Scott’s behavior. Dan didn’t didn't seem to know he was being abused until the talk happened. We’re still keeping an eye on him though.
Holmes also started looking into the other two victims. The woman, Kate Schultz, was a part of a Mormon church she had apparently been trying to get the company to pass a rule that would force the employees to pray before work and make it a job requirement to write down your ethnicity. A rule Deets refused for obsess reason. Ben Phils was a Evangelic christian who according to the staff, had a habit of working the people under him to the bone. He also seemed to get a little too friendly with the female staff. Mr. Deets wasn’t aware of this until after Ben’s death when his victims finally came out no longer scared of losing their jobs due to Ben’s influence. Kate, had actually been fired the day of her death, which is why she was there so late. Holmes asked me to look into the other employees relationships with religion. stating its of the most importance we learn if religion's are involved with these peoples deaths. I think its a rather stupid thing to focus on but I’m looking into it anyway.
Honestly, we really don’t have much to go on so I don’t blame him. We’re going to speak to Dan tomorrow to get a better idea of the case.
