123. Every Time

“Indulging in your hobby?” Dayander sighed, leaning against the back of Mouse’s chair.

Mouse glanced over his shoulder at him and frowned, then turned back to the bubbling mini-cauldron in front of him. Carefully, he fed in a golden flower. The mixture belched, letting out a sulfur stench. “Hobby? I’m trying to reverse everyone’s swapification.”

“By the Goddess, I hope that isn’t the solution,” Dayander said, primly pinching his nose.

“Oh, hush. All the best medicine tastes bitter.”

“I’m afraid that would taste more putrid than bitter.”

Mouse pulled a face at the concoction. “Yeah… it’s gone sideways, hasn’t it.”

“Perhaps a bit.”

Shrugging, Mouse grabbed the cauldron and hurried over to the balcony. Sparing a quick glance down below, he tossed the noxious mixture over the bannister.

“Whoa! A warning, maybe?” Spar poked his head out from below and frowned up at Mouse.

“Sorry,” Mouse called.

He sighed and hefted the pot back over to his makeshift cooking platform. “There’s no recipe for this. I can go back and replicate the old recipes, but they don’t always cook right, and even when they do… no guarantee they’ll work. If only we knew why Felix wasn’t affected…”

“Felix… and you,” Dayander reminded him.

Mouse waved his hand. “Yeah, yeah.”

“Anyways, while you’re between recipes… we’ve got to address your, er… figure.”

“Huh?” Mouse looked down at himself. “I took off the padding.”

“And that’s precisely the problem. Mouse… I don’t know how to break it to you, but, er… you’re quite… er, well endowed.”

Mouse lifted an eyebrow at Dayander.

Dayander put his head in his hands. “How do I…”

“Let the ex-girl handle this,” Cel said. She stepped forward and propped her hands on her hips. She looked Mouse up and down, then nodded. “Mouse. Your tits are huge.”

“What?” Mouse asked. He looked down again, then lifted his hands and patted them. Yeah, they do feel bigger than the padding… and heavier, and softer—anyways! I’m sure my dresses weren’t quite so… strained before, either.

“What a problem to have,” he muttered to himself.

“Huge… for a moon elf. Larger than your sister’s, anyways, which is where our problem arises,” Dayander added, qualifying Cel’s statement.

“We’re going to have to bind,” Cel declared.

“Bind?” Mouse asked, drawing back. I don’t want to be strapped to the bed again!

“Your chest. Bind your chest. Tie your tits down so they don’t look so big. It won’t be comfy, but it’s better than getting caught by Felix for having big boobs.”

“Be a hell of a way to get caught,” Mouse agreed. He stood and stretched, then started to undo the lacing of his dress.

Dayander stepped around behind him to assist. When the lacing came off, Mouse started to take the dress off, then paused. He looked at Cel, then at Dayander. “Which of you should I tell to leave the room?”

Cel waved her hand. “I’ve seen a lifetime’s worth of titties. More than you, anyways. Don’t worry your little head about it.”

“Putting aside my own current… demeanor, I, too, have seen plenty of female bodies in my lifetime. I can leave if you like, but nothing could make me see you as anything but the child I helped raise from infancy.”

“Damn,” Mouse muttered. Why do I feel like they’re subtly dissing me? Shaking his head, he slid the dress off his shoulders.

Cel covered her eyes. Dayander turned away.

“What?” Mouse asked.

“They’re even larger than I imagined,” Dayander muttered.

“Damn, Mouse, just… damn,” Cel replied.

Mouse covered his chest with his hands. “What happened to all that ‘I’ve seen female bodies before,’ huh?”

“No, no. It just… was a bit startling.”

Cel snorted. “Startling’s a word for it. Oh well. C’mon, gramps, stop staring.” She kneed Dayander in the rear. “Help me with these bandages.”

Mouse sighed and raised his hands. “Let’s get this over with.”

Cel and Dayander wound the bandages around his chest. It’s not so bad… ugh! Can’t breathe! Mouse tugged at the cloth. “Isn’t there another way to do this?”

“Not really. Sorry, Mouse. You’ll have to grin and bear it for a while. Think of it as motivation to turn us all back,” Cel replied.

“As if I don’t already have motivation enough,” Mouse grumbled.

Cel shoved on his chest. “Dammit. Dayander, can you…?”

“There’s too much. The bandages can only get so tight before we suffocate the poor boy.”

“Dammit, finish it already,” Mouse snapped, annoyed.

The door swung open. “Mouse, I’ve figured it out! I—”

Mouse, Cel, and Dayander stared. Felix stared back, jaw dropped.

“Oh. Excuse me.” Felix backed out and yanked the door shut.

Mouse put his face in his hands. “Every time…”

“Hey, look on the bright side… he knows you’re a woman, now,” Cel replied, giving him a thumbs-up.
