There were hundreds no, thousands of demon beasts rampaging throughout the land. Houses being destroyed and lives being taken away in seconds. There I was, less than a mile away from that impenetrable wall of demon beasts. A wall you can't jump over nor break threw, a wall that is strictly indestructible. I was on my knees looking towards the ground with a face of defeat. I can't feel my arms and barely have any feeling left in my legs. The wall started moving towards me in a steady pace. The more the beasts moved forwards, the more the ground shook. Death is inevitable and I knew that quite well. So many emotions was going throughout my head. Anger, sorrow, regret, anything you can think of. Suddenly it started to rain and I wondered, was the rain always so peaceful? I looked up into the sky towards the beautiful clouds that were letting out that peaceful rain. The more rain drops fell onto my body, the more calm I become. Then, she popped up in my mind.
"Seriously, why am I thinking about her of all people," I questioned myself. "Even though you're not here right now you are still giving me trouble."
"What? Are you telling me to get my ass up and fight," I asked myself.
I used whatever strength I had left in my legs and slowly stood up. I was still looking towards the ground wondering why I'm trying so hard. Then I realized that it's because she was so much like my master. She would probably find a way to resurrect me and kill me again if she found out that I gave up on fighting back.
"Good grief, you really are so much like him you know that," I said to myself. "It truly is like father, like daughter"
The demon beasts finally arrived and one was going to crush me from head to toe. I lifted up my arm up and swatted away it's leg. It's leg completely fell off and the beast fell on it's back screaming in pain. The wall then stopped and all of the demon beasts were looking at me. I slowly lifted up my head and my eyes were flickering orange and blue. It wasn't only my eyes, my body was also doing the same. The ground beneath me started to crumble the more I exerted my powers. I let out a huge yell and the pressure pushed back some of the demon beasts. There was a smoke screen and by the time it was cleared I wasn't there. They were all confused and wondered where I was. I was in the sky completely covered in blue fire with my pupil's converted to unique eyes from the phoenix.
"Hey, Sorry but, it seems I can't die yet," I said in a cold monotone voice. "Well then, let's the massacre begin!"
I rushed towards the thousand plus demon beasts but, this is not where the story starts. This story begins years ago when I was on my last days of junior high school. When I was just a nobody that had nothing but my adopted family. Yeah, that's right, this is the story of how I became the strongest and known as, Hiroto, the phoenix summoned from hell.
"Chika wake up," I asked.
"What is it Hiroto," Chika asked with a yawn.
"We have school, go and wake up Chiyoko," I demanded.
"While you do that I'm going to wake up mom and dad," I said before leaving the room. "Okay,"
I woke up my parents, had breakfast, got ready for school, and left for school. I headed for first period and I had the usual stares and gossip.
"He doesn't have mana right," a boy pointed out.
"Yeah, even if he is smart without magic it's going to be hard to find a job," another boy stated.
"Who cares, he's trash and that will never change," the boy said loudly.
"Don't say it so loudly, he could hear you," a girl demanded.
I was yawning and slowly walked past by not caring about what he said. I slowly looked towards my right where the boy was and started talking.
"good morning Daiki," I said with a taunting voice. "yeah, good morning Hiroto."
"What the hell, how can he be so calm while being bullied everyday," Daiki thought.
"It infuriates me. How someone can have no magic and doesn't have a care in the world," Daiki continued. "I'll break you that's a promise."
We went to our classes and it was the same as everyday. Everything they're teaching is something easy to learn. I honestly don't know why people struggled but then again, everyone has there reasons. It was reaching the end of the day and we had one more class left. physical education.

"It seems everyone is here," the teacher stated.
"Okay everyone before we begin the routine, I have a small lesson," the teacher said.
"Now what is the natural weakness of everyone's magic," the teacher asked.
"Our mana pool or reserves. We simply have a small mana pool and can't fight for long," Daiki answered.
"Yeah that is indeed correct," the teacher responded.
"Well then, how do we counter these weaknesses," the teacher questioned.
"At the age of fifteen we can buy or hunt a demon beast and make a contract with them. Basically you become the vessel for them and can have there power. However, you cannot make a contract before the age of fifteen or you will die. You're body cannot support the power, no matter how weak or strong the demon beast are," Chiyoko answered in her monotone voice.
"Great job Chiyoko," Daiki said. "Thanks Daiki."
"The only way to get a contract with a demon beast before fifteen is that you have a 100% compatibility with that demon beast," the teacher explained.
The teacher continued rambling on about things I already knew. During the whole speech I was thinking about something and didn't pay attention.
"Hey Hiroto pay attention," Daiki yelled.
"Hey, I have a question," I said. "Yes?"
"If we're in a war with demon beasts why are we so dependent on there power," I asked.
"That is something I don't know, however, I believe we realized that the power of the demon beasts were too great. So instead of trying to defeat them with talent, we will defeat them with their own power. Fighting fire with fire," the teacher explained.
"In other words, we'd all be wiped out if we don't use their powers," I stated.
The room got quiet and the atmosphere was awkward. It was like that for a good five minutes until the teacher decided to break the silence that erupted throughout the room.
"anyway it's time for the routine," the teacher told everyone.
As usual I had to fight the weakest in the class because "I don't have mana" but I honestly don't care. If I can live this life with my family then I have nothing to be mad about. My sister Chiyoko and Daiki are the strongest in the school and were always paired together. They are talented well, at least for a small town school.
"Lets do this Hiroto," the boy said.
"why is he so fired up about fight a boy like me with no magic," I thought.
The boy started rushing me and tired to land a punch. I dodged and landed a blow to his stomach. He recovered and started rushing me again. He made a water knife in my blind spot and shot it right towards me. Everyone was watching because they were already finished with there fights.
"It seems the fight is over," Daiki laughed. "At least he was able to land a blow,"
I dodged the knife with ease and caught it. I started fighting him with hand to hand combat. He was able to knock the knife in the air and let down his guard. I kicked him in the leg making him go on one knee. I then leaped up and kicked the knife towards his head. To be honest he could've just dismantled the magic but he was to stress to think about that. He barely dodged it getting a cut on his cheek. I was below his vision and kicked him in the chin and that launched him upwards. I leaped up and punched him in the stomach. That launched him straight to the ground. He was able to catch his footing before falling out of the arena.
"Well that should be enough for full points," I thought.
"Honestly even if I used magic if he found out my weakness I probably would lose," I continued.
For the rest of the fight I made small mistakes in order to lose. In the end I lost by getting launched out of the arena. I got full points like I planned and everyone was puzzled about how I dodged that knife.
"How did he do that," Daiki and Chiyoko thought.
"How did you dodge that knife," the teacher asked.
"I baited him to do that," I answered. "What?"
"When I landed my first blow that made him think he can't only win through brute force. So he used cheap tricks. Obviously the spot people will target if they are going to be cowards is there blind spot. Although I don't have any magic I do have a brain," I explained.
"I see, well school is almost over," the teacher pointed out.
Everyone got ready to leave and the bell rang. My sisters and I met at the same place as always. They told me that they are staying after to do club work so I had to walk home myself. I was walking home and I noticed a car was following me.
"Do they think there doing a good job at pretending to go this way," I thought.
The car started going faster until they stopped right in front of me. Four people got out of the car grabbed me, and started dragging me to the car's trunk.
"I should use magic and knock them out. I don't want to cause my family a problem," I said to myself.
"Hurry up and drag him to the car," a man yelled.
"We can use him to get money out of his family," another man said.
I stopped and they had a hard time moving me.
"what he wont budge," the man thought.
"Hey, what did you just say," I asked in a cold monotone voice.
"Yeah, we're going to use you to get money out of your family. Hey, we could also have some fun with the two girls. After all they're beautiful," the man responded.
"So just shut up and come with us peacefully," the man said trying to grab my shoulder.
Before he could even respond he witnessed his hand slowly falling towards the ground. It was like everything was moving slowly. The blood gushing out of his wound, the sound of his screams, everything. The man was confused, and I mean really confused.
"Huh, isn't that my hand. Why is it falling to the ground," the man thought.
He looked up and everything was upside down making him become discombobulated.
"What, why is everything upside down. Wait, isn't that my body. Why is my head not on it. Am I dying right now," the man continued.
Before dying the last thing he saw was me with cold eyes with some of his blood on my face. I turned my body to the rest of the bandits making them get a cold chill down there spine. I started talking in a dark monotone voice.
"I've decided, I'm going to kill you. All of you right now," I said coldly.
